Every Time RuPaul Matched The Runway Theme (on All Stars) 

My guess is that Ru doesn't want to match the theme, because then her looks would be compared to the queens' looks... and we all know she would be outshined every week. An interesting dive, I'd totally be up for a similar one for normal seasons!

the only look on a normal season that comes straight to mind is when she did that crazy mask look for the s10 space ball

I also loved Ru's Curves and Swerves look. i feel like the colours shouldn't work but they do

For the regular seasons, I can actually only think of 3 on the top of my head. The gold/silver/platinum look Ru wore for S4E3. This one stands out to me because of the comment Ru made about The Princess being in an almost identical look to hers. The S7E1 look were Ru’s nude illusion gown was really creative and fun. This look also showed that Ru could easily (at least at that time) outshine a lot of the queens with her gowns. Lastly, the ball look Ru wore on S10E4 for the Martian eleganza. To me, that look Ru had on especially with the mask felt tailor-made for the category. I might’ve missed other times on regular seasons where Ru actually matched the category, but to me those looks really isn’t that memorable.

I would kind of include the Rollergirl runway from S8 here. Sure, the actual look she wore wasn’t on theme, but the fact that middle aged Rupaul actually roller skated down the runway in a floor length dress is pretty impressive and deserves some credit.

Counting the promos,all stars 3 promo fit with the category,but prompt was gold so if she messed that one up it would’ve been wild

You should do a video about Michelle matching the theme! I always think her looks are great when she does that (e.g. hello kitty runway, glamazonian airways, fairytale challenge etc!)

notice how in the newest episode (allstars 9x8) in the mini challenge when Plastique is photo-bombing Paris (or whatever) there is a picture of Novi Sad in the background XD

Wasn't there a story, that her dresses get shipped shortly before the episode and they just take it out and style her accordingly? Like she doesn't know the dresses beforehand...

i think about it a lot, it would be refreshing watching ru do something for his show

Imagine a category where ru slays the runway and steals focus from the girls. I think the reason was to give highlight on the girls runway package rather than to ru i mean everywhere you look there's rupaul, so i don't mind that at all but sometimes it's too much too. Plus i think it's easier for her team to just dress up ru in random fashionable ensembles.

I’m not that bothered about Ru’s runway looks tbh but I miss the era when Ru actually served in the promos, I feel like after Season 10 they just gave up

Ru's ugliest dress look on Season 7 is the most on theme look he's done for his entire franchise istg

First of all i would totally be down for a version of this video for the regular seasons, one that comes to mind because of the context is when there was a futuristic/global warming ball in season 10 and concided that Ru had a skin allergic reaction of some kind and thus she wasn't able to wear any makeup and because of that she decided to match the theme of the runaway and wear a facekini with black glasses and a cone pony tail with you can agree that it wasn't exactly on the theme, but it was fun seeing her also be a litte weird in her look especially in a episode where one of the categories was futuristic and was a good episode overall because was the first time he had a early season ball with 43 looks, monet's solo lipsync to pound the alarm, it was everything.

oh no! you left one look out, to my opinion, the one that matches the category of the episode the best, and also, my favorite Ru look of all times.

I'm tired of y'all trying to compare RuPaul with the contestants of HER show to take away some status from her. She doesn't have to prove anything to any of you. As she would said: "She already done had herses". It's her show and she can wear whatever she wants. I'm tired of y'all looking for a reason to complain about her.
