@Bowielf The Gamer i mean we didnt think he was gonna do it due to corona but once this vid came from nowhere we all were surprised that he did it this year
@Justin M I mean you came kinda (-ish) late but what I meant is we had lily shine record her trip just bcz, we didn't expect supertoe to do a "all trains" video this year
Appreciate the Juneteenth awareness shout out, my young son watches all your videos and just to hear that educational plug was refreshing over useless sometimes entertaining commercials.
From the station you're at, heres my suggestions below. (It took 10 mins to type all of this, please like) SIR to St George Ferry to Manhattan R to Court St 2 to 14th Street 1 to 96th Street 1 to 137th Street That spells R211, the upcoming new tech train. Second Suggestion: SIR to St George Ferry to Manhattan R to Times Square A to Hoyt Schermerhorn G to Court Square E to Queens Plaza Spells RAGE Third suggestion: SIR to St George Any bus anywhere you'd like.
Thank you from the bottom of my heard for making this video - I can tell a lot of work went into it. My son who is almost four adores it - it's his favorite thing to watch as he is subway obsessed. There is tons of subway content out there of course but so little of it is made with any kind of thought behind it at all. I really appreciate your narration and enthusiasm - it's great for kids and adults alike and brings up lots of great talking points. I know enough about video-making to know that something like this takes a long time to make and requires fore planning. Please keep doing this for all the NYC kids out there who love the trains! BTW where did you get those shoes?
Welcome back to the subway Mr. Suprtoe. I think you did All Trains in 2018 (5 boroughs) from Tompkinsville to Beach 90th Street for couple of days. And now, you did reverse way for ALL TRAINS in 2020 including PATH, MetroNorth, LIRR, and AirTrain. Thank you for riding ALL TRAINS 4 consecutive times per year already.
YASSSSS THANKS 😀😀😀😀😀, Also, no r179 because it screws up again so we have r160 (A), r160B siemens (A), r160C Cuomo (A), crazy. There's also a set from the (J), (M), (Z), and (L) r160 on the (C). Metro North: Red = new haven line Blue = Harlem Line Green = Hudson line
JaePlayzTrainz // 1 Train BOI there are also 4 more routes you did not talk about: Pascack valley line: Purple Port Jerves line: Orange Danbury branch (Part of new haven line): red New Canaan branch (Part of new haven line): red Waterbury branch: (Part of new haven line): red Look them up
Hi. Here is my suggestion. The 3 R's (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle) (R) from Whitehall Street South Ferry to Atlantic Avenue Barclays Center (3) from Atlantic Avenue Barclays Center to Franklin Avenue/Botanic Garden (S) from Franklin Avenue/Botanic Garden to Prospect Park Thanks.
Cool video! That was a smart idea to use the glasses for the Port Authority trains. I liked how the video was getting ready to end and then you said "Fine I'll ride the Staten Island Ferry". Nice to see your back out again to. Stay safe and have fun!
51:10 Arch St Yard & Shop for LIRR, also those old “steam engines” in the LIRR yard are old diesel switching engines, the one in really bad condition is out of service but the others work. They are used to move passenger cars in the yard & haul freight cars.
(SIR) (SIF) (5) (J) (M) (PATH) (NJ transit light rail) Start at Tottenville, go 1 stop to St. George, take the SIF to South Ferry, walk to Bowling Green. Take the 5 train to wall st, there is an underpass called the Pine St passage - it is out of fair control tho. Take the J train to Delancey Essex and change for the M train. Take it to 33rd St. and take the (PATH) train towards Journal sq. get off at Newport and change for the Hudson Bergen Light rail - take it to West side ave i hope you stay save out there and I wish shiny mrs Suprtoe the best at her new workplace :3
Do QN RA1L AGA1N start at DeKalb take Q to Barclays CTR Then N to 14 street then R to Cortlandt street for A to 42 street for 1 to 14 street for L to 8 avenue for A to Hoyt schemehorn for G to Bedford Nostrand Then Walk to Nostrand Avenue for A to WTC Chambers then walk to WTC Cortlandt For 1 to 42 street then N to 36 street that will spell On rail Again because their is No I or O train Good luck 😉
Suggestion: SIR to Saint George Staten Island Ferry to Whitehall (R) to Court St (2) to Franklin Av (S) to Prospect Park (B) to Brighton Beach (Q) to Coney Island
Great video. You missed one thing on the LIRR. You missed the abandoned station between Jamaica and East New York. It was the Woodhaven Blvd station. You can see it when the train pass through.
R211A is doing pretty good actually because they've been completed and are set to arrive this year in July 2020 for testing and entering service maybe 2023 due to covid 19
16:09 Those locomotives are MP15s and DM30ACs. The dm30acs are still used today for passenger service. The MP15s are still in service today. You said they are steam engines but they are actually diesel. They mostly carry freight
Hello, Suprtoe! I'm a new fan and LOVE and APPRECIATE you and your videos! I am seven years old and I love trains, especially modern trains. I really enjoy all the music you play during this particular video, especially the song that's played when you almost missed the LIRR train. Would you please tell me the name of that song so I can find it? I would love to know the names of all the pieces of music you played! Again, thanks so much for all of your amazing train videos! My mama is helping me type this to you. She's from NYC, and said watching this video made her feel nostalgic. We now live in Utah.
@@NeilQVLGA6455 And it'll probably be a helluva long while before either a tunnel is made linking the SIR to South Ferry or the Staten Island Ferry somehow retools its ferries to be able to carry a whole train set, like how Trenitalia does to get its intercity trains onto the island of Sicily.
Take the SIR to St George, Staten Island Ferry to Manhatten, then the 1 to Times Sq 42nd Street then finish by doing the S train to Grand Central 42nd Street! BTW: Im from the UK so i am completly clueless about NYC so sorry if the route is long. Its what i remember from my one time to NYC in 2012
For where to now: 1. Take SIRR to St George 2. Take the S40 bus to Gothals road N/ admin parking lot 3. Walk west for a bit until you find western Avenue 4. Turn right on western Avenue and you will eventually find a railroad crossing with train tracks 5. Keep waiting until the freight train comes lol Please do my suggestion, I've been a fan of you for years
Three versions I am looking at 1. One segment on all twenty-two lines that have their own stations. 2. A snake challenge where traveling salesman problem theory applies - hitting as many stations as possible without repeating. 3. When we get 24 hour service back a full subway challenge.
Awesome video! I loved the train ride all around the city! Here's a crazy suggestion for Where To Now SIR to Old Town S79 Select Bus Service to 86th Street R Train R Train to 4th Avenue - 9th Street G Train to Smith - 9th Streets F Train to 14th Street 2/3 Train to 96th Street 1 Train to 191st Street Smith - 9th Streets is the highest elevated station in the city, while 191st Street is the deepest in the ground, you'd cover both extremes! There's also a really cool exit at 191st Street called Tunnel Street you should definitely check out!
And also he did one video to ride an R32 J train as well, but what will happend that he takes an R42 J train, he might ride it, But if he rides an R42 or R32 Z train, we can find out if he rides it
It’s so sad to realize that half of these lines are going to be shut down possibly permanently. The MTA is officially out of money and desperately needs another $3.9BB in federal aid. Regardless, even if they get this funding there are still going to be huge service cuts as 2019 ridership might not ever come back. LIRR/MNR may very easily go to hourly service on a single line only, and the subway may only keep a couple lines running, the 4/5/6 and the A/C/E and L, with extremely limited service. My guess would be MNR keeping the Harlem and New Haven lines with hourly service, LIRR keeping only the Ronkonkoma and Babylon branches with hourly service, and a train every 20-30 min on the 4, 5, 6, A, C, E, and L (yes, during rush hour). Oh and by the way, that 1a-5a subway shutdown is likely to be permanent - they’ve been wanting an excuse to do this for DECADES. Huge changes are coming and it’s scary that very little is being said about it. Edit: Just a few other things that are also likely to happen: 1) East Side Access may have just hit another 100 year delay. 2) LIRR 3rd Track project is going to be canned 3) Phase 2 of the Second Avenue subway will be canned 4) Critical infrastructure improvements on NYCT will be canceled 5) New Penn Station project will be canned 6) MTA may consider selling as much property as they can to keep up with costs. I hate to say it but Grand Central Terminal may follow the same fate as Penn Station
A/C Line use R179 the lemons trains. The R32 was a revenue train the MTA is using them because of the R179 issues. That was an M7 LIRR railcar. The MTA uses that area to store rail cars at times. That space was used for parking retired M3 cars
Please take the SIR the terminal then get an R train to canal street then the 4 train to grand central then take the 7 train to Times Square C train to 59 street then 1 train to 34 street penn station E train to 14 st and finally take the L train to Bedford Avenue.
0:00 intro 0:30 Rockaway shuttle S train 2:14 A train 3:46 Air train to JFK airport ✈️ 7:31 Air train to Jamaica station. 11:14 J train 13:04 E Train 14:26 Lirr to Atlantic terminal. 19:02 B train 20:25 Q Express 21:08 Franklin Avenue shuttle S train
Be safe supertoe:) heres mine R to times sq A to jay st metrotech C to west 4 st and E to WTC that spells Race Question for supertoe are you gonna make more vids?
@GoGoSuprtoe: @16:12, you had a question about the LIRR "old" diesel engines. (No, they were not steam engines. LIRR hasn't used steam engines since 1955). Some of the engines that you saw were yard switchers, some were used for the freight division on the LIRR Bay Ridge B'klyn branch between Bush Terminal and Fresh Pond Jct. Queens and some were used for revenue service where the LIRR is not electrified.
For the next Where to Now, take the Staten Island Railway to St.George and take the Staten Island Ferry towards Manhattan, then take 5 train to East 180th Street and transfer to the 2 train towards Wakefield 241st Street. And that's about it.
Hey Suprtoe-how do you keep track of all of the trains when you're riding? Do you make a list that you carry and check off or is your memory that good?
QUESTION: Anybody has any information about Atlantic Avenue/Barclays Center station allowing vendors/performers on their R train upper concourse, as NYPD used to do before the pandemic? I sold imported handcrafts at that location, in the Summer of 2019 but with all the changes going on now, it'd be good to know if that policy has changed. Thanks in advance for any information regarding this.
Hey mr Supertoe new haven train is from Larchmont Mamaroneck port Chester Stanford the new Harlem is from White plains North White Plains Brewster. I recommend you going there
Omg! I can’t believe you did it I am so proud of you Suprtoe! Btw I sent Shiny Ms Suprtoe something in the video when she speaks while she takes the q n and then n q . Please tell her aka Lily Shine to reply back to me thx
I have an idea for 2021 start on Staten Island like you did for 2018 but start at like 6am and then take the SIR to the ferry then ride all trains in New York including the AirTrain, LIRR, Metro North, PATH. take the PATH to Newark then take NJ Transit to Trenton then take Amtrak to Washington DC and ride one of the Metro Lines. Also my new Supertoe shoes came today!
