2023 has been a weird year in general, I’m only 14 but my brain is already dying from looking at certain things online and hearing people say weird things IRL.

As someone in band, there is a difference between a band kid and someone in band. I mean, I just wanted to play the saxophone but there's so many nerds and half the time the band directors absent. Our assistant band director copies all my jokes and whenever someone accidentally messes up, the nerds reference Ohio rizz gyatt at 3am sans undertale and laugh. It sucks.
In 5th grade (still in primary school)I had an ELA teacher who was the opposite of glazing which is basically, she singles out a person that she’s going to hate for the rest of the school year, and the person who she picked was my best friend and she told a story to my PE teacher (the leader of the hall monitor program in our school) that my best friend was passing notes ACROSS THE CLASS and got him fired from the hall monitor program.
Speaking as someone who was in band, there were no ‘band kids’ at my school. Yes, some of us were smart, but I hardly remember any of them getting up in peoples’ faces, going on and on about how smart they are and how they’re right about everything in the world there is to be right about.
My science/health teacher is a savage. We were playing step then someone asked “who’s the shortest person” so the teacher answered, “we all know Meika is the shortest”
The teacher that plays videos is lowkey the worst because they put in no teaching and they call it “modern classroom” and that kids get to work on their own pace. (We play the videos on our own lol, which means they do even less.)

My super senior story (I’m a girl): One time, when I was a freshman, I was staying after semester final exams because I didn’t have a ride home. There were only a few people there, including the super senior in question. I had never met this dude before, but I thought he must be cool since he was a senior. So, I sat down to talk to him, and within 5 minutes he had his arm around me rubbing my back, and wouldn’t let go when I asked. This dude was over 6 feet and I was only 5’5”, so I couldn’t do shit. He continued to flirt with me for the rest of the year :/
Once my best friend was at the school fair (I was elsewhere) and she saw the absent kid coming out the bushes or smth. We all thought the absent kid moved to Australia or something 🤣

In school I had a chemistry teacher that finished college for forests, a geography teacher that was 62 and did not care. The students literally had open books on tests and she didn’t care. Also, we had a music teacher who was giving 4th grade students tests. The physics teacher would regularly ask students can I tell you a joke? The school was for grades 1-8.
Once, I had the best substitute teacher ever. She had us do a fifteen minute assignment on Google classroom and then we were allowed to do whatever we wanted for the remaining 45 minutes of the class.
on like 2022 i had a math teacher that would make us listen to him for a little bit and then do some like incredibly easy work and then do whatever we wanted. we could use our phones, talk, whatever. we even did a full on paper ball war once, sadly i think he got fired at the end of the year
