Canucks didn't go the distance, but this team is gonna be back with a vengeance most likely. Gonna be fun to watch some Canadian teams compete the the cup the next few seasons.
As a Canucks fan, what a year it’s been. I had so much fun watching this team throughout the whole season, and I can’t remember the last time I felt that way. Well played to both the Predators and Oilers, and best of luck to the Oilers the rest of the way. This is only the beginning for our core, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the future holds. Go Canucks go 💙💚💙💚
Considering this our first competitive window with this core and none of us expected this, I’m proud of how far we came. Just gotta learn for next time
It’s nice as a die hard Canucks fan to realize, hey; we weren’t expected to be here. Then we lost our Vezina goalie after game 1, Brock for game 7. This team has some swag. I just hope the boys really aren’t greedy with contracts
@kodychong9568 Oh yes, well, of course they did ask for a lot. HoweverI feel like they could have convinced him, he did make good freinds with some of the players
@@_Ruwak_ in the middle of the season Zaddy talked to lindholm about how cool it would be to play in boston together. This has been on their mind for months before it finally happened. Not only this but they are offering him a longer term than we did, if rumors are true we offered 5yx5m. But there is one big problem, we are in Canada and the tax is way higher, so he actually keeps more money going to Boston as well. We just can't spend more than 5m on Big Z, it's irresponsible. Trust me, I hate seeing him go just as much as you. But Alvin is cooking and I can't wait to see what the entire NHL gets served.
As an Oilers fan, I can say that this Canucks team is a real force! Given a bit more playoff experience, a few changes to the roster, and a few adjustments to their play, they will be a major contender in the next 1-3 years. They put up a real fight against the oilers and provided a very entertaining series.🔥🔥
Went to both game 1s, even without advancing out of the second round those 2 games were worth every ounce of energy I invested into the nucks this season
All I'll say is to Canucks fans is that was one heck of a series and you have nothing to be ashamed of. Just try not to waste this year like you did 2020 yeah?
I wish sportsnet could show the decibel meter in rogers arena, waited 9 years of playoff energy in Vancouver... it was loud and i loved every second of it.
I’ve noticed there was no more goals in game 7 of the oilers series… I’m guessing the better team won, also where was petey? Is he an oiler? 11 mill to help the oilers, what a good guy
Feel for the Canucks and their fans, but tbh, they basically would’ve had to face Bettman besides their opponent because of his bias in favor of America
@@Canucksnate Agreed. The Stars are basically a more advance and complete version of the Canucks. They roll 4 lines and 6 Ds there are no holes in their line up; 8 players with 20 or more goals in the regular season and a very effective blue line with a perfect mixture of youth and experience that can play both ends of the ice. They have an elite goalie in net with Oettinger. If it took the Oilers 7 games to beat an injured Canucks line-up, I am not very optimistic of their chances against the Stars.
@@dhdoctorsWe failed ONE mission, because mcdavid and Matthews don’t have a cup (yet at least), does that mean that Steve Brule (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Brûlé) is better than both of them?
@@indoraptorspyce8310hey if you want too be proud of beating a Canucks team without their elite goalie and then missing their top goal scorer in game 7 that’s up too you. Good luck against Dallas
LMAO you delusional Oilers fans act like you swept us. It took 7 games for Oilers to beat us, which only ended up being by 1 goal….good luck against Dallas! 😉😉
