I wanna see Vancouver win so badly...I'm a Habs Fan in B.C and Vancouver is my #2 team. The entire Province would absolutely explode in a joyful roar.

The team I want to win one the most is the Canucks and the team most likely to win their first is the Predators

Sharks fan here, I hope to see a few playoff runs soon. It’s been a lot of heartbreak recently but a lot of us here care about the team and love our Sharks. Our rebuild is going well, with us getting the first first overall pick in franchise history, hoping everything goes well for all without cups 🙏✌️

As a Canucks fan its been tough seeing teams like LA, St. Louis and Washington win the Cup. There was more company in the franchises that have not won it. Now it's pretty much down to us and our expansion brothers in Buffalo. Well we're currently more likely than them to finally do it at least. The only team besides those two in this list that were established before I was born was Utah and they've moved twice so it isn't like the current fans have been waiting all these years. So who would I pick besides my team to do it? San Jose. They were so good for so long and have dealt with tons of heartbreak that I would feel good seeing them pull it off. The one I would least like to see would be Seattle because they're brand new and are close enough to Vancouver that likely a bunch of bandwagoners would jump ship to them. Lots of people in Northwest Washington are or were Canucks fans before the Kraken came around. So if they moved to a new team that got it done while those of us back in BC were still waiting, that would suck.

Minnesota is one promising team. Faber will have some trophy’s in his case by the time his career is over for sure.

They're in my division but I can't help but root for the Sabres - that is one tortured franchise, and I'm speaking as a Panthers fan who, until very recently, know what it's like to be mired in darkness for decades... They must be doing something right given that half my team seem to be former Sabres players.

I would like to see Vancouver, Utah ( in their first year), Nashville

With all the talent, great new GM and head coach the Jackets will be sneaky good within next 2-4 years they will become legit cup contenders.

I would love to see another nhl team win it. As long as it’s cupless. As a NJ devils fan even tho we may not see a playoff appearance or cup win. I’d love to see that happen. Teams with no cups deserve a shot. Look at Florida and Vegas. Proved it.

I’ve been a Pens fan all my life, but I started following the Jets this past season. So, of the teams that haven’t won a cup yet, I’d love to see them lift one. But, boy, living in central NY, I would also LOVE to see the Sabres make it to the playoffs.

Today I learned the wild logo is a bear. I am 29 and have always watched the NHL. I think at one point when I was a kid I had bed sheets with the NHL logos.

What did you think the Wild logo was, if you don't mind me asking? I've never seen anything but the head of a bear with trees, a stream, the north star, and a sunset. I think you're right on with your assessment, we're just still missing a bonafide #1 center.

I'd love to see the blue jackets go all the way 💙 ❤ or the predators. I live in KY so they are both my teams if I'm not watching the Cincinnati Cyclones or the Cleveland Monsters.

Since I’m older than Caps franchise and went to games for their entire existence I can’t even explain how amazing it was to finally beat the Pens and then win a Cup and I def feel for the fans still waiting. The playoffs can be a mentally painful slog of ups and downs when come in with high expectations like Caps often did before 2018 win.

I'm a Kings fan, but I was really pulling for the Sharks when they made the final and lost to the Penguins. I'd like to see that time finally win one. They've been such a good team for most of their existence, but just haven't been able to break through.

I hope the Canucks can get one soon...like really soon cause I had a heart attack in May and I don't know how much time I have left to see it happen! 😜 After that, I'm rooting for the Jets and then just ANY Canadian team really.

Appreciate that Johnny, as a sabres fan who has never seen them play a playoff game it’s been tough for sure, but I appreciate what Kevyn Adams has done since taking over and I think they’ve made the right steps to become a more competitive team next season. The Prospect Depth Is still looking amazing even after the trade for Savoie who was definitely the odd man out. they have more then enough assets to grab a Good top 6 forward at the deadline need be if they don’t decide to Now, but I think McLeod will be a very good add for the roster as well as the other quicker, Younger, and Grittier bottom 6 players they’ve grabbed.

About the Wild logo.. It took me longer to go from "ripoff of the Guelph Storm" to sweeping picturesque wilderness landscape than it did to go from wilderness to bear silhouette. I made this leap right around the time they bounced Roy from the playoffs in '03. Now I look at as a work of art- easily one of the top 3 in the NHL

Wings fan Remember when I was a kid and we had the Yzerman and the Russian 5, And I had no Idea that we wouldn't be the best Team forever, I just thought that EVERY year we didn't get the Cup was an Upset... Its been feeling the opposite since I grew up

As a Canadian I'll always default to Canadian teams. But I wouldn't mind seeing Buffalo and/or Minnesota winning the cup.

Love seeing 1st time winners in anything so I'd delighted if any of these won but I agree, Nashville is likely the closest.

Honestly, I want to see ALL of them win! I love seeing a team win the Stanley Cup for the first time or finally break their drought.

The best goalie in Ottawa history is, in my opinion, Patrick Lalime. Dominic Hasek played for a year in Ottawa but choked after he was injured and essentially abandoned his teammates so I wouldn't include him.

Ottawa was cooked to perfect in 2007. But how they made 2017 was unbelievable. They took the winners of the cup that year to game 7 double overtime. No team took the penguins that hard that year. excited for this year

Utah: "technically this franchise has been around for a while..." Um. I haven't followed too closely... But the deal made in April was that Meruelo retained the rights and history to the Coyotes.... So unless something has changed legally since then, _technically_ Utah is a brand new expansion team with no former history. (that's nuts!)

I'm a jets fan every year I say to myself this is the year for the last 3 years come on this year

As a Seattle fan, obviously I want to see us win, but I don't see anything wrong with us putting in the years to get there - I'd feel pretty guilty if we won it in year 4. The cupless team I want to see get it the most is Vancouver, and the one I see it most likely as being this coming season is Nashville.

Devils fan here... if it's not the Devils, then I wanna see Quinn Hughes lift it for Vancouver.

Vancouver and Buffalo would be my favorite 2 teams to win their first cup. Maybe I'm biased as a Blues fan but itd be awesome to see Tage Thompson, who they sold off to make their cup run, lead a team to hoist lord Stanley. Vancouver is also a hard nosed team that i feel could beat any team in the league right now. Im also just still glad STL isnt on the list anymore, 5 years later lol. One cup makes a huge difference for a franchise. Ottawa would be fun to watch too, the Tkachuks are a breath of fresh (old) air of what hockey used to be. Put up points and keep opponents on their heels through physical play, thats what hockey is all about. All hate for the Tkachuks is obvious jealousy. People hate seeing some hard nosed Missouri boys embarrass their favorite team even in a loss.

You're being very kind to the Wild here. They've got some nice prospects (what team doesn't?), but pretty much everyone aside from Kaprizov is a huge question mark, and that's ignoring all the overpaid vets they're expecting to play big roles for the next few years. If I was a betting man, I'd say Kap is gone before the end of his contract.

Not a fan of any, but the team that's closest has to be Vancouver. Loaded with talent. Lost to EDM missing Boeser and an all world goalie. They are doing to do damage this year. SJS is years away. Alt team for getting to the SCF is NASH. They're loading up to go deep in the West. Hey you know what would be fun? NASH vs Fla in the SCF. Paul Maurice vs. Andrew Burnett, the guy who got replaced going head to head.

Jets, best fans in the league and unlike the jeets in Vancouver, Winnipeg knows what an offside is. Ever seen how many backyard rinks are in Winnipeg during winter? It's our game.

You know, excluding Seattle, most if not all of these teams have been close at least once to a Stanley Cup. Well, unless you are Buffalo or Arizona/Utah. However, for fans of these teams without a Cup, they will get there one day. Look how long it took the Blues. Even Arizona/Utah and Buffalo will get there eventually. Especially with all of the young talent coming into the league. Personally I hope the next team to get their first is the Jets, and I do think they have quite good chances of it happening as well. I think Vancouver is probably the closest, Jets slightly behind, but realistically any of the teams who haven’t won a Cup have a chance to do so within the next 10/15 years if they play their cards right. The only Cup one of my three teams (NYR, COL, WPG) have won in my lifetime was the Avs in 2022. I haven’t experienced a Rangers or Jets Cup. They will come eventually. Have faith in your teams and never lose hope, even at the lowest points.
