@@joshglover2638 no it isn't. Bullpen full of holes, lineup is another year older. Overpaid judge in desperation. Rotation looks decent, but this isn't a championship team. Not even close.
Fun Facts from the 16 walk-off hits: Donaldson tied Judge with four walk-off hits each, followed by Torres and Trevino with two each. They walked off on the Rays, Red Sox, and Astros twice each. They scored 26 runs in those walk-offs. Donaldson and Stanton contributed a grand slam each, while Judge contributed two three-run HRs. They walked off on each team in the AL East, four of the five teams in the AL Central (not White Sox), and three of the five teams in the NL Central. They walked off on four postseason teams, including the Champions twice. They walked off on eight sub .500 teams as well.

One of my friends (who doesn't know how baseball works but makes an honest effort because I'm a huge baseball fan and he's my friend) "amazing coincidence how all their walk-off wins were at home."
@@GoBlue_yanks42 if you actually read the comment I said the ending was heartbreaking ofc it’s a failure of a season but still they showed us that can still make it to the playoffs regardless how much they might disappoint the fans
@@marksantana5119 oh well then let’s give them a trophy for trying..: jfc bro… no need to qualify it… these moments were nice at the time… didn’t matter when all was said & done…
Seeing all those magical moments, amazing !I really thought we would go all the way this year. Something spiraled out of control after the break.I hope we keep the momentum going for 2023.The amazing ones. Thanks, Darlene Waterford, NJ
The Judge HR against the Astros was kind of the last hurrah in retrospect, after that they were very mediocre. Up to that point they seemed like a team of destiny.
I was at the Rizzo walk off home run game on June 16, 2022 with my friend Eytan. We were absolutely losing our minds. It was his first time seeing a walk off in person and it was my first time seeing a walk off home run. He was also at the Donaldson walk off grand slam game on August 17, 2022. (I wasn’t).
Actually it is possible to walk off in a different stadium but only if your on the home side, remember the 2020 World Series was in Texas and the Rays had a walk off win.
That was a great walk off, but I refuse to believe that that game did not make Yankees classics on the yes network. That should have guaranteed made the list.
Down year offensively for sure. Hopefully he can put together a good enough walk year and leave us with some better memories. Personally, one of my favorite players.
@@abrahamfarraj84 downside of his career, bat speed is gone, defense not as good as it once was. Same with Stanton. Ok Judge, you milked the organization for nearly half a billion, let's see if you can top last year.
I'd rank them 1. Stanton walk off grand slam for Judge 60 HR 2. Donaldson walk off grand slam in extras 3. Judge walk off HR against Jays 4. Judge HR against Astros 5. Judge hit against Astros
Without a doubt the whining about the roof in Houston was good. Rocking Cole was better. Monster Judge grounding out to the pitcher thus WALKING OFF the field getting swept. THE BEST of 2022!!!!!!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂
I’m not sure how, I think why were even more behind in the standings now is because our players are running out of spirit, I’m not though, we just need to compete and maybe will make a spot in the wild card.
The Yankees need to get an impact bat or 2 at the trade deadline in order to get past the Astros. If they get Reynolds they need another bat-to-ball guy in addition to him, it can’t be trade for Reynolds and that’s it because they cannot get eliminated again they have to win the World Series this year. I don’t want to see Hicks, Donaldson or IKF on the team come October.
I was at 5! All of them are on my channel besides the opening day one. 1. Opening Day 2. Judge first career walk off hit 3. Walk off wild pitch 4. Cabrera walk off 5. Stanton walk off slam
The season started off so well and ended horribly. Only good thing was Judge hitting 62 and getting MVP. Idc what you say we got robbed. That Astros series was managed poorly. IKF should not have started
Not trying to put salt in the wound, but as an Astros fan I thought all of these last minute heroics were a red flag for the Yankees. The lions share these games would have been lost if the other team had a good closer. Bader was a great addition and I think you guys will have a great season in 2023.
