Results of women empowerment are everywhere in the world for people to see.Take Uganda for example.The Minister for Education and Sport is the First Lady Mrs Janet Museveni.The curriculum designed and delivered by her ministry dovetailed into the industry needs of the country.The managing director of the newly commissioned Tin Refining Plant said that all the engineers working in the plant were Ugandan graduates and there was no expatriate engineers.Yesterday we saw a video of some graduates who successfully completed skills acquistion program.They came out successfully because of the basic education they received.Also a Ugandan student made African history by being the first to win the commonwealth essay competition instituted since 1883.The First Lady through her various intervention and education programs has been able to minimise the spread of HIV/AIDS,teenager pregnancies among others.So the results of women empowerment are out there.
