O yeah I remember I am a MK fan. An usually have to Google everything, but I no for sure, I think, Matt didn't get back into car till Homestead, so had to sit out TX an Phoenix.
Agreed. I really don't mind payback in general nor do I care that Hornaday was a championship contender (every car has the same right to fight for the win), but you don't give payback at that speed. That's seriously dangerous. At least when Kenseth took Logano out it was at relatively slow speeds at Martinsville.
The fact that the cars are more safe now has allot to do with it to I'd bet. They don't drive with that fear so much anymore of "What if" They hammer down and hope to win. There's been really bad crashes they have walked away from. the similarity in dales crash and this one is close. But the new tech saves on this crash. If he had the old installed, "Maybe" that very thing could have happened. Or hospitalization at the least. Great point Peter.. They should bring that up.
Kyle Busch should have been parked for good! I was at the 1st night race of the COT in Arizona with the NASCAR headset. Kyle tried taking out another car but spun himself out instead. He reported to his team that he "got spun out" when in fact he did it to himself! We were sitting in the stands right there and saw the whole thing! What a piece of work the Busch's are!
alright alright alright intentionally wrecking someone at speed while under caution is way over the line, mainly because it was under caution and Kyle was told this, also Texas had the caution lights on fence posts so there’s no way he didn’t know the race was under caution. Furthermore it was not at a slow speed like caution pace, there’s a saying that if you turn someone into the inside it’s not personal, however when you turn a guy head on into the outside fence it’s personal. Let aside the fact that Kyle was buschwacking and took out a championship contender 20 laps into a race.
Obviously Bush League tried to drive him down into the lap traffic and then got upset that he actually ended up in front. It's a good thing for poor little Kyle that he didn't drive way back in the day when it was real racing. He surely would have been killed.... accidentally of course
I was surprise when they didn't aswell but also it didn't happen in a joe gibbs team car at the time and cancel culture didn't exist within social media at that time if it happened now it probably would have been worse for him
@@misterfaiz9678 Also, take into consideration that Red Bull Racing was closing its doors at the end of the 2011 season, a hell of an opportunity was on the table for Gibbs to expand to a fourth Cup team a few years sooner than it did, which I think would be better for M&M's to do instead of just leaving the Gibbs team. The idea would be for Gibbs to buy up the assets of the #83 RBR team (the #83 cars, #83 pit crew members, crew chief Ryan Pemberton, and driver Brian Vickers), and convince both Red Bull AND M&M's to split the tab of season primary sponsorship for 2012.
June 2011, Richard Childress used Kyle Busch's head as a punching bag because Kyle intentionally wrecked an RCR race truck during a caution. November 2011, Kyle Busch intentionally wrecked Ron Hornaday Jr during a caution. IMHO, NASCAR should've booted him out for good after that. Even today, when there's a wreck involving Kyle Busch, he usually causes it. Example: 2022 all-star race at Texas this past Sunday.
@@randomreviewsrebooted5156 Explain all his other lame excuses. Most disliked driver in NASCAR history and not just by the fans. NASCAR should've booted him out long ago.
@Kylepetty said it the best. Actions speak louder than words 💯 👌. But sometimes Busch has some temper issues and I completely understand why. He has every right to be frustrated at certain times. But I was just as shocked when Busch wrecked Hornaday
The one part of it that different is it wasn't under caution when it happened it cause the caution and also brain France was in charge at the time this is same guy who fined denny Hamlin for speaking criticism about the new version of the stock car body during it first year so things weren't great for nascar and it showed when i return to watching it
@@RowdyGromwwwww nobody in their right mind questions his talent. Definitely one of the all time greats. But there's also equally little question that one of the biggest pricks that has ever sat down in a racecar, and his brother is just as bad. Both have incredible talent, but both seem to believe they can do whatever they want with no consequences.
North Shore Fire Scenes, every most disliked NASCAR driver list, Kryle Busch is #1 and it's not just the fans that don't like him. Most disliked driver in NASCAR's history. Every wreck that he's in, he usually causes it. He's 100% an arrogant anus with a toddler's temper and he'll never change.
Dude, Kyle Busch put Ron Hornaday into the wall in relatively high speed and most importantly, *under caution* . It's not about the reasons that caused this retaliation / who's more talented or not / who's racing for the Truck Series championship / blah blah blah... This is a safety concern, not a "show" as you and some other ppl might want to refer it as. It has nothing to do with what we may lose when he retires, it's a completely different matter. I seriously cannot imagine any racing fan with common sense would cheer for this kind of terrible behaviour, which does not belong on a race track in any form of motorsport (similar to the Dan Ticktum/Ricky Collard British F4 incident). Although admittedly, this shit has already happened quite a dozen years ago and we gotta let it go at some point, but it would ultimately remain as a stain on his racing career whether you like to admit it or not.
You don't watch no more, yet here you are commenting on something you supposedly don't like anymore. Awfully hypocritical, ain't it? But I'm sure we'll see you in the comments after Daytona ✌
@@roymcdre9180 and they would be wrong. First of all in cup alone he is 9th all-time. Not to mention he has 222 wins total. So saying he's not top 10 all time is just ignorant.
@@brandonthompson8413 his talent speaks for itself, but his antics definitely cast a dark shadow that is hard to ignore. Pretty sure I wouldn't want to be remembered as the great talent who was also the biggest prick to ever sit in a race car (with Kurt a close 2nd in both categories). Whether you want to believe it or not, quality of character matters.
@@scottrussell2281 The only people who talk shit about Kyle being a prick are idiots. I guess you haven't heard about Dale Earnhardt. Dale was 10x the asshole Kyle EVER was. And Richard Petty was a cheater and wasn't actually good.
They let'em go out there and go at it for yrs, then all of a sudden there like ah u can't do that. Lines should have been laid out so drivers wood know how far to take it.
Kyle Busch should be kick out of the sport of nascar for life because of his behavior on the track and he have a bad temper on him and I can’t stand him in the first place because he cheats on the track
If you can't stand him, why are you commenting about him in the first place? Surely you can find something more productive, that is unless you're a loser with no life. What's even worse, is the fact that this happened (over 10 years ago), and you're still pissed about it. Here's 3 words to help you deal with this: Get Over It.
Kyle had every right to do that this is not just this race that Ron had issues with kyle go look at races before this one, absolutely bs to park him for the weekend when the truck race had nothing to do with nationwide and sprint cup series wrong of nascar to bring what happened Friday into other racing series
Ron Hornaday wasn't going to win the championship anyway. Ron got into KYLE BUSCH to start with, people are very wrong about KYLE BUSCH he's definitely better race car driver than RON HORNADAY. KEVIN HARVICK INTERVIEW MADE ME LAUGH HE'S DONE SIMALIAR THINGS LIKE KYLE BUSCH DID.
