I don't usually like commenting this parasocial shit and dont want to assume anything i know yall love each other and are good friends but this episode amien I felt for, just I had a visceral feeling towards cause i think weve all had this feeling of overwhelming shit all coming at you and you just dont want to ruin anyone's time but literal you dont have enough time to deal with it all, like it got to a point in the episode where i started to feel just slightly panicked and had to take a break from the podcast, not assuming shit hate it when people say dumb shit like i wouldn't be mango's friends cause they only know this story just wanted to say i felt this episode, love the content yall make my work drives much more funny

for those who dont know anything about mango: i promise, he's just kinda doing a bit here. i mean, you know, he wouldnt call it that, but that's essentially what it is, and the rest of them know that. if he ACTUALLY was mad at aiden and didnt like him, he wouldnt talk to him. but he's smiling while razzing aiden and willingly playing into his needy goat persona, which actually means he likes aiden. mango's quite a character, and obviously all of them know the deal. mango's not actually that much of a narcissist either, if anything he's probably way too hard on himself a lot of the time. i think if he really was as self-entitled and egotistic as he seems, he wouldnt really be joking about it, or at least it wouldnt come across like a joke lol. he wouldnt be laughing, and neither would anyone else. if anything, this whole anecdote shows that he was really nervous during all of this (something he's talked about before, and how people dont really realize that about him), and was relying on aiden a lot because he trusts him. hopefully it's not too weird to psychoanalyze mango like this lol but i think anyone who watches melee and stuff will understand that this is the case. it probably does come across very different to yard viewers who dont follow melee though, especially in excerpts like this
