Seeing the thumbnail: "I bet the chaos of all these faces on screen will be funny" Watching it: "Oh no I tricked myself into hearing a massive and spontaneous international choir and it's gonna make me cry"
Recently I lost the friend who presented Yakuza to me, some times I still feel a little bit of joy seeing a Yakuza meme and think to send it to him, but then I remember he is gone and it gets bittersweet... I miss singing baka mitai and other songs in the karaoke with you my friend
And right as the timer hits zero they all whisper “Baka mitai” as the final breath of the human race, all in unity under one togetherness and joy for one last time, and to symbolize the mistakes humanity made unto itself the final words (Baka mitai) in English mean “I’ve been a fool”
The bigger the crowd, the more just the tone. Everyone is off by a different amount in both timing and tone, but they aim for the same thing, so the average is an approximation of that thing. It's similar to how crowds can clap in sync and synchronize within 3 claps.
you can even do that yourself. record yourself singing a song with slightly different voices a bunch of times, layer it all on top of each other and it sounds good no matter how bad you are at singing
@@mmoose3673only a few were ai generated, taken from another youtuber. He mixed together several huge compilations of people doing this, and even added a few.
I'm so glad that people still remember this meme. I was the first person who started these Baka Mitai mashup memes back in November 2020, and made over 20 videos about it on RU-vid until early 2021. Most of those videos went noticed, that my friends went making them more and gained millions of views (the ones with over 3 million views). Thank you to all who have been enjoy these memes during those times, as I have created these memes just to make you guys feel better during those hard times of the pandemic! God bless ya! 🙏💪
This is the lyrics, now you can also participate in this chorus! 0:03 damedane dameyo damenanoyo anntaga sukide sukisugite doredake tuyoi osakedemo yugamanai omoidega bakamitai
this meme was so legendary, can't believe it was nearly 2 years ago at the end of 2021 and people timed it with the 2022 new year hour. time passed by so much, it feels like a few months ago
And for the first and last time in human history, all voices were United as one, one final serenade to say sayonara to the world that gave them life, and will now give them death
In order to organize this magnitude you would have to look through maybe MILLIONS of this meme, filter through ALL THE REPOSTS, edit it together, and finally, render it. This is beautiful. Thank you.
This is actually beautiful. So many souls from such varied lives uniting to sing one song together. Imagine what it would feel like if everyone in the world were psychically linked and joined together like this. I think reality would peel back and you’d realize heaven was right here all along.
@@projectbutter6930 It’s a concept found in various religions and spirituality. It’s also commonly found in “trip reports”. It’s believed that in higher levels of awareness, beyond the standard human experience, this can occur. It’s a delving into a deeper understanding of the unity of all consciousness.
No more wars, no more conflict. None of those matter now because we're all gonna die. But we won't afraid. Instead we'll sing. And this will be the song. As the Moon sized asteroid approaches Earth, every person on Earth hold hands and sing this one last song. A fitting end for the season finale which is of the story of humanity. As the asteroid hits, we see each of the screen fade to black as the shockwave consecutively hits everyone. We tired. As a species, we tried. We made a lot of mistakes. Did a lot of stupid things. But we still tried our best. Despite all the stupid things we did, we tried to be good. It just wasn't enough. Before the shockwave destroys all communication, all radio towers will broadcast this final video across space. So intelligent life on other worlds may be able to receive this final evidence of what was once humanity.
I have been listening this song when i found a meme of this song back in 2021 now its been 2 years and i have learned all the lyrics. Its also a bit nostalgic for some reasons now
Dude I can’t believe I forgot about this meme, it was so funny but ironically beautiful with all the random characters singing along. Thank you for the 2021 flashback 🥲
i dont know why but this is one of the only japanese songs i can pinpoint the english words that are said with it, usually when theres a japanese singer and theres english subtitles, i cant wrap my head around the lyrics, and how they would be sung in english. this song is a blessing in every way possible.
Ahh yeah I remember doing this, was a bit confused at first why I needed to sing this song and move my head in a very particular way while recording myself. It all makes sense now!
