Man.....I stumbled across your music looking for a good version of Flow Gently Sweet Afton and I am so impressed. You are good. Really good. World class good. There's something in your voice. Hello Maggie. Thank you so much for your song recommendations. I've not done much lately but I've just completed my part in a duet with Karolina Pacan (a Polish young lady who sings in a Metal group) I've sent my sound track to her and she will add her part soon I hope! I have listened to the songs you recommended and I think that you are right in questioning whether I am brave enough to sing it!! Anyway, Yuriko is going to Japan for three months on Tuesday and I am going to be very busy taking care of myself and also doing a lot of DIY jobs I've be saving up. I am hoping to have a closer look at the songs to see if I can do them when I have the time. Best wishes to you and Alan ~John~

hello again John, It’s been a while, and I sure you’ve been very busy while Yuroko has been away. A few more songs that may be of interest to you. Three by Mike Harding- Accrington Pals - Christmas 1914 - Jinny Bobbin( it will sound much better with a simple guitar playing) Lastly a most beautiful song about the Clydesdale. horses giving way to the tractor, And all the villagers lining up to see their final journey home ‘Last trip Home’ Many versions on utube. Hello Alan! Yes, I was so busy while Yuriko was away that I didn't pick up the guitar once for three months. I'm finding it difficult to get back in the habit. Thank you so much for your song suggestions. I liked Accrington Pals very much and might have a go at it when I get back in the groove. Glad you liked it. Joel! It started off as a joke really but I'm beginning to like the song after all these years. I had to record the chopsticks separately and it was quite a job to get the timing right when I joined them.
