English should become your habit These are 4 habits:- 1. Pronunciation - To make others understand you; pronunciation is not taught in english. You should learn IPA to improve pronunciation and learn imitating. Read out loud is other way to improve it 2. Absorb English- suck english. Listen to podcasts. Read books listen to English Channel on youtube. Find things that excites you like english series. Find time for absorbing. 3. Write English- write for yourself. You dont need to show it to someone. Helps your vocab to stick. But unless you use it you wont learn it. If you write you can improve and edit this. More advance students can learn thesaurus and synonyms. 4. Join a discussion- talk now is one app free of cost. Join some groups and find which one is best for you Remember it takes time to develop a habit. Extra tips: 1. Do research first by yourself and decide which group which channel is suitable for you. 2. Create a regular schedule for it how and when will you learn.
I've already made English part of my daily routine. Every morning when I get up, I listen to the radio in English, while I'm having breakfast and taking a shower. Then I make the chores, odds and ends, and I keep in listening to the radio in English while I'm having lunch. In the afternoon I take a hike, and when I get home I check out the Internet and I watch webs like yours, which I find absolutely useful. I jot down the new words and idioms, and I go through them every now and again. I find a while to practise English pronunciation by shadowing some videos, and I try to write such as commentating on line your lessons. Learning alone is possible. Your videos are amazing, you're an excellent teacher and I am so grateful to you! Cheers from Santander, Spain. Stay safe and have fun.

Thank you lady, my pronounciation is trained through listening to the reading of Scripture from native speaker, and practicing it with tongue. 2nd, I am listening to English preaching somtime or every morning, listening to NBC English news or CNA Singapore English News; but in Indonesia, I am not using English in everyday speech or communication. I make manuscript of my preaching but on Indonesia, actually I can write it in English. I have experienced studying 3 years for masteral degree in theology of the scripture in English from American Missionary in the Philippines. Now on my private room, I am listening to English News from NBC oot ABC or CNA, as my daily routine.
in my opinion :subscribing to those amazing youtube channels where you find great professional teachers like Emma is the best method to improve your English and pronunciation Thank you Enma! ⚘
I completely agree with you, Emma. I have been learning English Language all my life and I have been using all these four methods in a regular basis. I can testify that, they work like magic if you are consistent. I am obsessed to writing phrases and short sentences. I bought a pronunciation kits. I read out loud in my quiet time. Thank Emma!❤ One of the things that I still struggled with is proof reading. I find it a bit challenging. It is hard for me to catch my mistake easily because I feel what wrote it is correct in my head and when I ask someone else to read it, they come up with grammatical errors.
I have the same problemm too! Even if I felt insecure about my English speaking skills, I somewhat have confidence in my English writing but when I show it to other people, they are still able to find errors that I have overlooked.

Thanks Emma. Good advices! Every day I practice speaking and writing in English. One day I noticed that I almost stopped using the translator. When I use a translator, I understand where there are mistakes. Of course, I still make mistakes in grammar, but practice reduces this every time. 👍👍👍

Emma is the great motivator for those people who are interested to learn English, speak English and pracite of English language. Really speaking I don't have a kind of word to praise you. You are the most of one whom I like and listen very carefully.
It's really obvious you are a great teacher because you're not only conveying the message, but your body language , pace volume, gestures and not only are all there with you. My first language is not English but I do read every day and listen English. My biggest problem is having conversations, not because I don't understand but because I hate small talk or because some natives use too many slang words or I find their grammar awkward and often incorrect. I am not saying mine is correct but they might ruin even the good bit I know 🤣🤣🤣
I live in french country and many times i don't have the speaking ground. now i get a chance to be fluent because of your teachings.Thank you again good teacher, I'm going to practice.

in brief: The video focuses on four daily habits that can enhance English language skills. The main points from the entire video: 1. **Pronunciation Practice**: Emma emphasizes the importance of practicing pronunciation daily. She suggests learning the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) to understand the correct pronunciation of English words. Additionally, she recommends using imitation lessons, where learners can mimic native speakers, to improve pronunciation. 2. **Absorbing English**: The second habit involves regularly absorbing English through various mediums like podcasts, audiobooks, movies, RU-vid videos, books, or blogs. The content should be interesting and engaging to the learner. Emma encourages setting a specific time for this activity and keeping a notebook for new expressions or words. 3. **Daily Writing**: Writing daily, even for a few minutes, helps in recalling new words and expressions. Emma advises using tools like Grammarly to check for errors and suggests reviewing and improving the written content over time. 4. **Joining English Discussions**: Engaging in discussions on topics of interest in English, either online or in person, is recommended. This practice helps in applying language skills in real conversations. Emma also offers extra tips like creating a regular schedule for these activities and choosing content that keeps the learner interested. She stresses that forming these habits takes time and consistency. The video aims to help learners integrate English into their daily life, making language practice a habit, similar to brushing teeth. Emma's approach is practical and focuses on engaging and fun ways to improve English skills daily.

I grew up in an era when English was considered one of the most important subjects to learn along with Maths. I don't believe there is enough focus on these subjects in today's school system and that's a big shame. It's delightful to know that a young lady like Emma is an exception to that outcome. We need more Emma's as teachers.
Wow! Its amazing to follow your lessons. I'm really fascinated about your ideas on how to improve your English skills. I recommend your videos to all learners of English. You are a great teacher.
I think the last advice is the most important because if you're speaking with others so you will notice your way of pronouncing and everything so everyone should follow this
Hey Emma, good morning to you (Brazilian time 7:58am :) ) I have incorporated English studies on my daily basis, and I am feeling satisfied with that. Thanks for your lesson. It's really useful for me. I've been learning English for 9 years. But to be honest, I just focused on it for 2 years. After 2 years I have learned hard work and consistency. Now, I'm so proud of my English level. It's not high but I'll keep learning English lifetime. Because I feel excited when I learn. Have fun with English, enjoy it and your level will improve so fast. You are one of the best coaches/teachers I've ever come across on this platform. I do really like your lessons and advice on how to improve my/our English skills. This means a lot!
*3. Write!* Writing every day has some amazing benefits. But before I talk about that I want to make it clear, I'm not talking about writing an essay, okay? I'm just talking about writing a few thoughts or a few I'm just talking about writing a few thoughts or a few and nobody ever has to see it. It's just for you. So there's a few reasons why writing It helps your vocabulary to stick. Writing is one of the best ways to recall new words and expressions that you've come across. When so many of my students have asked me “What is the best way to remember vocabulary?” this is my recommendation. As you're reading or watching TV shows or books, you come across new ideas and words and you write them down but then you start to use them yourself. You think of sentences and your own ideas about how to use these words. That way you're producing your own sentences rather than just listening to other people's and it helps it just stick in your mind. And then you can improve it. Once you've written something, you can do so much with it. You can copy/paste it into a grammar checker like Grammarly to help you to identify some of the errors that you're making. So Grammarly is free to use, I've included a link in the description below because it's awesome. It helps you to see the mistakes that you're making like maybe you're using the wrong preposition or you don't need to use an article when you've written one. So I really recommend that you take a look to help you see and realise the mistakes that you're making and you can also review your own work. Once you've finished writing, leave it for a few days or a few weeks, come back to it. See if you can make any improvements or if you can use a thesaurus to look up synonyms and replace some of the words with more advanced ones. These are just a few ideas but getting into a daily writing practice creates so many opportunities for you to apply what you've learned or what you've seen or what you've experienced in English and then review it and improve it.
Hello Emma, I am from India🇮🇳. I appreciate you for taking this initiative to do such an amazing task which is very useful in today's circumstances. I am also one of your students. Can you please recommend an interesting series in RU-vid which helps in improving our language skills in English at an advanced level? I am proficient in English as I have no problems in the comprehension of Hollywood movies even without the subtitles. Of course, now I think it is time to take it to the next level, to understand even more difficult accents, like what we say, for instance, the northern accents(influenced with Irish, Welsh, Nordic, etc.) and also those series by which I can improve/learn the various accents of English spoken across the world. It will be so nice of you if you can help me out with it. Thank you and best wishes for your future ventures. 👍
I appreciated your advice, I experienced that reading out loud makes someone's pronunciation better. Reading is crucial for second language learners. because when you read, you can learn new vocabulary and expressions. Writing down what you experience during the day can provide to improve your writing skills too. don't focus on learning grammar! listening to English songs, watching cartoons, shortly, watching videos that make you interest and excite you is vital to make the learning process funny .(ıf you discover how you learn a language efficiently, simply, and joyfully, you will not have to struggle with learning a target language:)
I'm indeed interesting all of your creative ideas. I'm now applying all of those in my daily life with the ultimate goal is to achieve advance level in using English.
I like the third one, writing. Tomorrow i will start to create a diary of my daily life in english, i'll do it everyday from now on 😂 this video is very helpful to everyone who wants to improve grammars.
I wish I can speaking like you Emma, but I’m always trying. Thank you so much for your great advices ,acutely I do it every day ,so I notice how my English skills are improving . Love you Emma♥️
Dear Ms. Emma, Thank you for being such a wonderful teacher to me and being an inspiration. I started to watch your videos because I am struggling with my English communication skills and I need to pass also my PTE exam. I realized that your videos and teachings help me improved my English fluency. It drastically change my pronunciations and writing skills. I followed your your 4 tips which are 1. Pronunciation, 2. Absorb, 3. Write, 4. Join a discussion. that is the reason also I am writing this comment here as part of your tips. I am grateful for you despite that I have a crush on you because you are such gorgeous and also with a beautiful heart. You personality strike me like a thunderbolt with lightning that went straight to my veins and gave me heart attack but also revitalized it. I love every part of your videos.
The speaker Ms. Emma discussed about the the tips on how to improve your English. First, she talked about pronunciation which is vital in giving sound to a word to be able to understand. Secondly, she expressed about how to absorb the new ideas or vocabulary. Moreover, she then gave advised, in order to absorbed it you must write it in a note and start using it over again. Thirdly, writing is what he said that is important. Write the significant and need to understand and read it and apply it. The last one is joining a discussion. She then said that you find an active group were there are discussions and give comment or opinion. Finally, she emphasized the importance of practicing on daily basis and include all her 4 tips on daily routine so.
1.pronunciation (read english loudly and record it and hear to correct mistakes) 2.absorb (learn new words) 3.write (on a daily basis, just for you.. And check correction) 4. Join a discussion (it could be joining in a group or community where you can share ideas, thoughts about any topic which is interesting to you..)
Hi teacher Emma. I am big fun of your English lesson. But I have a question to you. Can we use *suggest* in progressive tense. I had heard before that there are more words about non-progressive verbs but you use it in your speaking. Can you clarify it by your interesting classes.
You teach very good way. I am writing this comment because you just teach to write a comment, share opinion. Discuss..i like it's a very good idea to improve writing..i hope you reply me and guide me to learnt perfect way of English. And correct my writhing..
Hi! I've always wanted to ask someone: Do teachers on RU-vid use more simple language in their videos or not? Why can I understand what is told in the learning videos? But when I try to listen to another videos, I can't understand the biggest part of them.
Yes I think RU-vid language trainers understand the fact that their subscribers are not fluent in the language hence they speak extra clearly giving adequate pauses in between so that amateur learners can grasp the contents easily.
Yup.. It's one of the most common problems when we study English. "Simple language" is the same as "familiar one" which you have heard lots of time and being stuck in your mind. Your matter is that you don't spend enough time on adsorbing a specific topic or idea. In my opinion, an useful tip to improve listening skill is that you need to listen a video at least 5 times (You can flexibly adjust it basing on your English level). A long time accessing to the same context helps you improve your language, not only vocabularies but also relative contents. Learn better thanks to appropriate tips. Hope you learn well!!!
