Let's see, that was the summer of '91, which would put me at 9 years old and going on 10 (I turned 10 later that year in December). She is doing very well, thank you. She's now singing in the choir and praise team at Beth Eden Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Worth.

Awesome passionate rendition of one of my fav songs! But what is the message this old hymn sends? I was listening to a Pod cast this afternoon from the church I used to attend. Pastor used this great hymn to illustrate what he feels is a great misunderstanding within many other churches today. Pastor vividly described the Apostle Peter hanging upside down on a cross. He then sang a lyric from that hymn “Every day is sweeter Peter-- than the day before you accepted Jesus”
