Hi Sally 😸🎏 They both look great, I do like the standee. I had a friend who bleached and often then dyed her hair - she used to have bleach and/or colour in the brain moments. 😹😹 Love the idea of you decorating your studio - may need more camera angles for that. I think you should give the bear to Terry for his studio - he can cover some of the mess in the background 😹😹 Finally - what do you mean about popping? So I have a heads up before I start on mine when they arrive. Ta. We have been melting over here - last night was particularly unpleasant as it was supposed to cool down to 14 or so, but when I checked the hourly temps, that wasn’t due until 5-6am! I had a lot of trouble getting to sleep, and staying asleep. On the plus side, my clothes wash which went out wet onto the front verandah last night about 11 was dry about half an hour ago when I went to put out the second load. 🔥☀️🔥 only going to be about 30 today, so a real relief from the 39 yesterday and 41 on Saturday! ❤

Hi Heather! Some of my creations are in Terry’s room already. They were easily seen before he did a desk shift. WA weather is horrid! It is totally too hot for me most of the time. Popping drills are when the drills (the little pieces you place on the canvas) are made ever so slightly too big for the image, so when you place them on the canvas, after a couple of columns/rows, they get squished and ‘pop’ up. Meaning you can easily loose the drill and have gaps in your image. My video where I show the completed Santa (it was released in Dec 2023) shows what I mean in detail. Check that out. It only happens with square drills. I’ve never had the issue with round drills. Hope that helps! Stay cool. Love to you and Damian! ❤️🤓

@@MiddleAgedGeekGrrrl thanks, I’ll check that one out. I get so caught up with the eleventy three things I have to do I forget to catch up with RU-vid, or digital subs, etc when I have some spare time. But also, I keep running out of spoons and having spontaneous naps, which really puts big holes in my productivity. Dad and household stuff like cooking, washing, some cleaning, getting up every day, watering garden, and really trying to keep on track with my physio exercises are pretty much it. Cross stitch usually has to be multitasked with tv watching, but then stops for the exciting bits, or the subtitles 😹😹. I have various crafts/ hobbies coming from big Chinese outlet to try and keep up with spookyJapaneseCat every month. I must get better with my photos so I can include all that info everybody else did 🤪🤪
