you don't need a strymon for a shimmer effect. i have a neunaber blank slate loaded with the seraphim. you can load any neunaber pedal onto that one though, so well worth the price. around a 150 bucks. and it is small.

A GFI Specular Tempus will also suffice, and is much cheaper than the Strymon.

If you figure it out on logic let us know! I''m trynna make this effect on logic too

After messing with this in Logic... for the pitch I used AUPitch under the Apple menu cause Pitch Shifter in the Pitch menu really didn’t sound right and added some kind of weird extra delay that was not at all pleasing. I also played with different delays. I tried Stereo Delay first, but that didn’t give as much shimmer, I think maybe AUPitch is meant to run mono, not sure. Tape Delay worked great. I also tried ChromaVerb and that didn’t work great with the default I chose, maybe cause of pre-delay, so I switched to Space Designer.
