I just don't understand why some players keep insisting yaoyao is better. I have both, they're two different units not even similar, and his shield is still so misunderstood.

From my experience Baizhu has extremely good synergy with aggravate teams cuz his dendro application isn't as strong as Nahihi so he can allow ur anemo to freely swirl electro while also providing comfort and great reaction buffs to ur electros👍 every aggravate team features some extremely squishy characters and all non-Baizhu defensive options are kinda clunky (hi Yaoyao's stoopid ass rabbit) 😂 I've been having a blast with Fischl-Baizhu-Yae-Sucrose rn. Was super happy to finally put my Yae to good use 😭

I LOVE Hybrid Baizhu. I’m a maniac and must be stopped. Baizhu 37k health, 500EM, and 200% ER with Sacrificial. Then I quick swap button mash with Kaz, Ko Ko, and Yae. I know it is faaaaaaar from optimal but it’s so comfy and sparkly and my happy place. META SCHMETA. Thanks for understanding people like me!

I am so glad that I've got him on 1st banner. He is basically all you need. You got heal (for some team s, like Furina), and more important you have resistance to interruption that is why healers usually considered worse than sheilders. He is very undeterred. I love him sooo much.

In my experience, tome of the eternal flow is a great 'dps' weapon for him because it's passive can be triggered pretty reliably with his burst. Because when the shield breaks and you take the tiny damage and then heal it up you get two out of three stacks. And it even has a small hp% buff which does help keep his healing and passive relatively high. Edit: Plus the color of it matches his cape so you get style points.

Perfect timing, I am rebuilding my Baizhu and this is what I needed. I use him all the time so I wanted a build that was more flexible and this hybrid build looks perfect. It's also so nice to see Baizhu enjoyers instead of those who underestimate him. Thank you for sharing!!

I pulled him c3 on his first run, and just this rerun picked up his signature weapon. He’s been HP bot Prototype Amber slotted into my Nilou bloom overworld team since his launch, so I’m beyond excited to try some new roles for him! Thanks for the guide, very insightful and entertaining

found this video a little after u posted it and i KNEW i wasnt just imagining his other potentials!! i specifically got the bp weapon for him bc it matches his look almost perfectly, (tbh more then his signature weapon for me) and ended up getting a lot of crit on his artifacts so i searched for other baizhu builds, and maaan this was a refreshing watch. im revisiting him again bc i wanna see what i can do better, and this is a great guide, tysm for sharing

Great video on Baizhu. I got him during his debut banner and while I have always recognized his healing ability, I didn't build him earnestly. When the info on Farina started to enter the chatter I started to sink more time into him. For the moment he hasn't replaced Kokomi since I main Yoimiya, but now that Furina is out we'll see what happens.

Nice vid. I liked it and I agree with you on the builds, especially with the Hybrid one, but I think you shouldn't remove the ocean clam from the standard HP build option, he can gain on average ~50k AOE damage per rotation using only proto amber + burst and one E with Clam, in teams were you can use 2 Es per rotation he gains one more full stacked bubble so something like ~65k . In teams where you don't need DW, such as aggravate teams or teams where you use both him and Nahida, Ocean is a great option, especially for AOE situations, even more so now that we have Furina which increases healing and generates stacks faster with better healing, so healing bonus from 2 pieces is more usefull.

I've been running 50k HP ocean clam on my C6 Baizhu since release because he's my first 5* healer, but I noticed he overheals (and is obviously REALLY good at it). Your hybrid build is literally the answer to my problem, I knew I didn't want a high DPS Baizhu cause I still wanted him to heal, I just don't need /that/ much healing :'D thank you for the video, and for appreciating an extremely underrated unit!

As someone who's trying to push for a C2 Baizhu on this banner (got his C1 on his first banner when Kaveh took every single wish I had to even come home), I am excited for this guide! I have my Baizhu built in a weird hybrid DPS build, with a Crit ratio that's better than my Fischl, but I'm always interested in improving him. (Felt like clarifying that I did very much so want Baizhu on his first banner. Dendro is an element that means a lot to me for various reasons, and him being a healer makes him extra special. Throw on being obsessed with him since 1.0 and seeing him at Bubu pharmacy, and he slots in with Tighnari and Neuvillette as a Very Important Character for me 😂)

Baizhu is by-far my most valuable and reliable unit along with Miko. He has a permanent spot on my team and is still my favorite. I saved beaucoup primos for him and got lucky on all the 50/50s, which gave me c2 on his debut. Such an underrated and amazing character 💚🐍

I pulled for baizhu over Furina bc I wanted someone to help out with my tighnari so he stops getting slapped around. But hearing that there are other ways to build baizhu is so interesting! Thank you for your ideas!

At first when I got Baizhu on the guaranteed after losing my 5050 for nahida. I wasn’t really that excited to get him. But after playing him and building he’s quickly become my most used and reliable character on my account, and now I’m so tempted to get his c1 😩

I love seeing different takes on Baizhu! What about Solar Pearl + Marechaussee Hunter when played as onfield dps? I've also heard rumors about attack becoming more valuable than EM once you hit 400 EM in the dps build. I find him fascinating with how many ways there are to build him and how people don't seem to agree on the optimal choices per team, which is getting further confused by potentials with Furina.

if he also had a cleanse from his skill, he’d really be the only healer you’d ever need in any circumstance possible. still, he can just heal past any troubles and cleanse isn’t ever needed much

I have Noelle balanced around her healing capability and her damage. I accidentaly made her a shielder, healer, tank and dps in one. She carried me (and still does) through so many bosses where i can just go brrrrrrr. So I really wanted some updated guide on Baizhu but majority of people build him for Furina only. I saw an interesting video about Bennet with Furina that gave me the idea to try a build with Baizhu on a 2pc/2pc Maidens/Clam. With EM/HP/HP with ER/HP/EM substats. My NeuvaRina team wasn't getting enough heals from Baizhu on my Deepwood/ProtoAmber build. I never considered SacFrags, but I'll def test it with both builds. Thank you, this video was EPIC.

I was trying to pull for Furina's sword, but I ended up with Jadefall Splendor. However, this loss in the weapon banner made me research about Baizhu's healing and it changed my perspective about him. As of now I think he's the best healer, and I'm trying to pull him because he's tailored for Furina, and could suit many team comps. The one tap massive teamwide heal from his elemental skills is too underrated. He's a hidden gem if you ask me.

So what is his best team with hybrid build you would recommend?

I like Building him in hp to have the max bonus for the healed character. He's perfect to boost any dendro related reaction , but they must stay on field because otherwise they don't get the boost from his passive. I'm using him with Alheitam, Liza, Keqin, Cyno being the best as he triggers a lot of reactions

also this is a leak but I’ve seen a new artifact set that converts any over healing into a buffing so I think with baizhus over healing and the new set and furina he’s really becoming so much better

I did not give up on Baizhu even though I lost the 50/50 twice when pulling for Furina and Baizhu’s banner 😭 I’m glad to hear that Baizhu is perfect with Sacrificial Fragments because I have two of the built for Kokomi and Klee burgeon! Even when playing with Kokomi, I love using her with Sacrificial because I can move her jellyfish easily to get consistent healing. What I’m wondering about is Furina is said that if we want her fanfare points stacked to full, we need a strong healing quickly and some guides said that we need Ocean Hued Clam to reach that max stacks. Do you think it’s still enough stacks with the hybrid hp/em build on Baizhu when playing with Furina? Or do we need to build him full healing??? I need more guides of how to build Baizhu when playing with Furina 😵

thank you for caring me as im the dumb one who loves baizhu too much that i put him on a crit build. pulled him when he first came out and got c2 and have plan to get c6 someday but i got furina (also to buff baizhu). also why was widsith not recommended? i have 69/175 crit with 187 em, 4p deepwood (em-hp%-cr, i couldnt get a good em or dendro dmg bonus goblet yet), fischl c6 for electro with gilded dreams. i have plans to pull raiden for the electro too and someday nahida so i can put the deepwood on her later on and test around different artifacts for baizhu. i wonder if i should change anything around for him because i just want to keep him on field, i like seeing him

I just wanna say my piece as an electro (Razor) main, when he came out Baizhu wasn't very good for aggravate. He just did not have a weapon. In aggravate, every team member needs to be a sub dps, and without a good weapon or set Baizhu didn't cut it compared to his bloom performance, especially since his passive is weaker for aggravate/spread than bloom. (Catalyze teams never reach EM levels high enough that his buff is good.) If you went full dps, you didn't get any buff. However, Sacrificial Jade has changed him completely, and at R5 it's just straight up better than his signature on catalyze teams. At R5, it has MORE HP than his signature (more healing) while having crit AND EM. While it has lower base attack, spread doesn't care about base attack that much (compared to aggravate/raw damage), especially if you have external buffs (I use Wandering Evenstar Nahida). And in *double electro* resonance teams, you don't need that extra energy. You're fine. One weapon single handedly made Baizhu go from mid to perfect slot in for catalyze teams. I didn't go for cons when he released but now I'm going for that juicy C2 over getting Furina cuz he's worth it. One more thing about burning, one of the best burning characters is Thoma. Thoma's issue though, is his energy needs consuming any substats. The new Fontaine crafted weapon, Rightful Reward gives HP AND at R5, 16 whole energy every 10s when the character is healed. Thoma's burst has a 20s CD, meaning you can get 32 energy with Rightful Reward if you can procc it. Guess who heals in intervals of 10? Baizhu's skill. And at C2, Baizhu heals every 5s on the dot. If you have Thoma's C4 his burst refunds 15 energy. Reducing his total cost by 47. From 80 cost, down to 33. Thirty. Three. You can pump as much of whatever substats as you want. Rightful Reward/C2 Baizhu will become an OP core one day, mark my words.

I actually run sac frag on my Kokomi 😂 it really helps with her jellyfish and those pesky mobs that move a lot, she has 160-170 er but with sac frag feels just about right and more comfy👍 Thanks for the guide, I just got Baizhu and I really want to know how to play with him.

I built my C2 Baizhu with Skywatd. deepwood Atk, Dendro, CritR he's in a quicken team with yae and fischl and tbh those 3 can clear anything and the fouth slot can be anything

Hi! Recently I got some extra money to spend and accidentally pulled C1 Baizhu and got his signature weapon. My account is highly focused on Dendro reactions as I main Tighnari and Nilou Bloom is my second main team. I was kinda straying away from genshin for a while so I don’t have much materials rn. Was just wondering if the 30K HP was still decently easy to get at level 80 as I want to test him out because as of now he’s my favorite support.

As a relatively new player I pulled Baizhu and got him his sig weapon. I love to pkay him for the comfort he brings. I just havent really figured out what build(s) to get.

I wrote off those "guides" went on to build what I think best for him, which is Hybrid, Prototype Amber(don't have extra EM catalyst), 4x Deepwood, ER sands, Dendro DMG Goblet and Crit rate circlet; Priotritise ER->Crit->HP->EM as substat. Even that it is more than enough to keep Hu Tao(she's a bit pissed) and Furina healthy

When I was saving for Kazuha, when baizhu released the patch before and I wanted Kaveh I was super convinced I wouldn’t get a five star, I went to pity got 1 constellations lost the 50/50 to Jean on Baizhu’s banner. Now, I wished on ganyus banner for more kaveh cons which I didn’t get but I did get a ganyu at early pity and I reallllyyyy regret not wishing on his banner because if I was gonna get early pity on either of the two banners anyways I would have preferred him. I got furina and am throwing some pulls at his banner for the slightest chance at getting him f2p but odds are not favorable. DONT LET THE META DECIDE WHO YOU PULL I have a lot of the S+ tier DPS characters by sheer coincidence (I didn’t want ayaka but I got her at 1 pity 💀) but they need a healer and I don’t have one because I never thought that far ahead and baizhu is so pretty and I fold when it comes to men with long hair 😭😭😭😭😭 I’ve been relying on Bennett and my C6 barbara. I’m building Charlotte though cause she’s really beefy when it comes to healing

On my main I use neuvillette raiden baizhu the last slot is open to whatever else I need, it works super well as baizhu is c2. On my f2p alt I run baizhu Kazuha xinqui Bennett. They all have quiet random builds to be honest but just work well together. Has been the main team on it for a while it’s ar 56. If I take baizhu off the team I wind up dying as the 4stars r only c1

I'm struggling a lot to find guides where baizhu is not only hp er. What are the teams he is good with the em build? I'm planning to run him with yoimiya burgeon and tigh aggravate, does he em makes difference on those teams?

Just got Baizhu on the last day of this banner (4.6) and I am excited to play him on so many teams. I am giving the hybrid EM/HP build with fruit of fulfillment to give my little klee some much needed stagger resist and to enable her pyromania!

What weapon/artifact combo for Neuvillette, Furina, Fischl, Baizhu? I don’t have his 5 star weapon thinking of Favonius. So HP HP EM OR HP EM EM? Furina has guilded already so would deepwood be a good set?

You sound exactly like me when it comes to dehya and her builds. So many people just parrot theory crafters stating that she need emblem, high ER, bennet kazuha etc when in actuality shes a burgeon/pyro hybrid unit that has more value in her elemental skill than her elemental burst 60/40 split, and thus should be using vourukasha glow set and always be paired with furina and another dendro unit. Currently enjoy using her with baizhu, furina and a cry damage dealer, or replacing baizhu with nahida and replacing the cry dps with charlotte. in case anyone asks (because they usually do on similar comments). Build: either ATK,HP or EM sands (depends on what buffs your team gives and what constellation your dehya is), Pyro goblet, crit circlet, vourukashas glow set. her skill vape/melts for 30k+ and her punches range from 20-60k+ (furina makes damage fluctuate a lot + vapes and melts) and that's just pyro damage, not including the 17kx2 burgeon damage (which she can do during her burst too btw). Ofc meta slaves will continue using the same crappy builds and then cry about her not doing enough damage.

Even though i still plan on just hp for my build (because im lazy), i still watched and enjoyed the video

I was always a Baizhu fan purely from the design alone, and finally decided to pull him as a Cyno main. I have some questions though. I just got him, so im not sure what build i should aim for considering i want him to support a comp of Cyno+Beidou+Baizhu and flex? Also, what artifact set should i aim for? Also another question, I do love playing DPS Dehya alot. Any teams she could benefit with Baizhu? I like burgeon but ill be honest, i never played it.

I poured every wish, primo, and speck of starglitter into Baizhu during his debut and got him to C6 by the end. At C0 he's already balanced and very versatile. HP is good for a full on heal build but to take advantage of his entire kit...yes, EM and some ATK for his Dendro buffing. I've been playing my Baizhu as DPS since I got him and he's alot of fun. Switch to full heals for co-op and no one dies, Dendro app always up.

Baizhu would be perfect for my Keqing team. Furina on the other half has no use on my account since its a new account i only have three dps characters and all are standard banner characters. Tighnari Keqing and Diluc. I might get her if i manage to get Neuvilette or Wriothesley. But for now i am hoping for an early Baizhu since i havent saved any primogems. ( I have got Welkin plus bp hope i get lucky). Ok if i get him i will give him my Sac Frags since no one is using it rn. ( no Sucrose😭)
