@@cluckendip he said metaphorically because he was just talking about the cup overflowing in a metaphorical way. Usually when you are disqualified you aren't in with a shout (a chance), so he was joking that he was still in the show and can still win.

Throughout the entire season Daisy looks furious. Katherine looks on the brink of tears. Johnny looks like hes about to have a nervous breakdown. Richard looks shifty. Mawaan looks confused.

X put in a lot of effort, but only manage to land in first place, only winning 0 points. and you wouldn't believe this, but this one ended up in a tie, X tied for first place earning them self 0 points.

The moment when they had to stay in silence because of the disappointment everyone was disqualified. And some of them are try so hard not to laugh. That's exactly as when you had worst marks for your exam but you not alone as half of the class got the worst marks too meanwhile the teacher was devastating with our marks.😂😂😂

As it seems with most series, I didn't know how this would go when the first episode hit, but by the end I loved all of them and wanted to see more. I especially loved Katherine (big fan of the I.T. Crowd). I REALLY want a series with the Holiday Special lineup because that was hilarious.

Greg's teaching past coming out there. Honestly, there are contestants I don't like on a series (and only a couple of them. There have been people I expected not to like but I actually enjoyed in the show) but I don't think there is a whole series that I wouldn't rewatch. Every series has moments like this of pure hilarity.

Could they not have pulled down the pole, broken the pole off/pulled it out of the ground and just fill it on the ground? Did the task ever say that it had to stay inside the red green?

The problem with that technique is that given how much they are able to bend the pole in the first place (almost to a full 90 degrees), pulling it down far enough to actually break it would almost certainly result in at least one section of it and/or the cup touching the red green once it breaks. Same with having to pull it out - the pole is just too bendy and awkwardly long for any of them to be able to feasibly do so in a way that would completely avoid either the pole or the cup touching the red green.

First I've heard of it It only suffered in that it was the first in lockdown I think. Compared to the first 2 of season 11 that have aired as I write this, it's slightly ahead.

1. First use the water hose at a low angle to spray the red "green" and try to push it towards the center so you can get closer to the pole and cup. Lift out the pole and take it to a ladder or something that you can stand on to fill the cup. The pole is already touching the red so we can assume it is excluded as a dq. Or... 2. Just adjust the nozzle for a semi verticle stream which would crest and fill the cup

It's the pressure and limited resources and time. You have to think quickly and thinking quickly usually means stupidly. Plus when we watch it we see their failed attempts and realise a better one. They don't.

I’ve fallen down a rabbit hole of British Panel shows (I guess that’s the name) and I can’t get out. Started with Jimmy Carr solo comedian career, ended up in 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown... and now I can name most of the celebrities on there. (Mostly because it’s the same group in rotation)

im mildly surprised no one simply got any water into the cup and said they were done. as the task doesnt say the cup needs to overflow with water. so as soon as you displace the air inside the cup with water, the air in the cup overflows out of the cup. task complete.

This actually isn't the first time they all got disqualified for a task. When they did the teddy bear drinks task where they weren't allowed to spill anything or walk on the grass with the drinks, they all got disqualified for spilling the drinks (as well as Katherine's tippy-tappy walk)

It's funny how this is the first time the ruling was actually accurate with the red green, given many other times someone else stepped on/off it without any penalty (i.e. Liza Tarbuck on the team task)

Okay, I just had an idea on how to solve this task in an - out of the box way, although it might still be counted as cheating depending on Greg's mood. What if I got liquid paint and spilled any other color than red on the red green. It would not be the "Red green" anymore and at least the colored spots could be touched. Then you could approach it and solve the task easier.

@@Ariplaygames I think there is about a 10% chance if Greg allowing it, but about 90% of the time he wouldn't like it. And I can see why. But it could be worth a try, just for the studio discussion!
