Funnily enough, I don't think Pawnee ever gets cold enough to support it. I think the one time it snowed was when April and Andy kidnapped the old lady from the fourth floor.
That beat Amy Poehler takes when she says “no…I’m sad” is so on point. It’s the defeated acceptance of one’s own failures that can only come from the shrill clarity of a throbbing hangover.
Andy standing and immediately having his body summon vomit is one of the realest post hangover symptoms ever. Especially if you’ve been sitting forward.
As currently hungover adult beverage enthusiast... Can confirm! Just had 3 burgers and some sprite. Feel way better. First you take the cow to the killing floor!
So does that mean that Ron's flank steak idea could actually work? Only that it would have to be when you're actually hung over and not before you go to bed.
@H Z yeah because the electrolytes usually. Seeing as you're gonna be dehydrated. But greasy food always gets rid of that alcohol in the bottom of your stomach feeling
It’s the truth. Most hangovers happen because of the excess sugar consumed with alcohol (which is created by sugar). Yeast and protein reverse those affects (also hydration). Yeast eats sugar. Protein fuels your body to burn the extra sugar through digestion. (Hydration keeps you from dying)
There are countless reasons to love Donna, but my favorite is that she effortlessly controls the oblivious human dumpster fire that is Jean Ralphio without getting singed herself 😂
Honestly it’s impressive how many quotable lines there are in just this 5 minute video. The writers went all out on this episode. My favorite line? “Turn that frizzown upside dizzity”
"But first I'm going to throw up in a wastebasket." "Would you mind if I join you?" "Not at all" It's the how politely they say those lines that kills me 😂😂😂
Don’t let the name throw you, Jimmy. It’s not really a floor; it’s more of a steel grating that allows material to sluice through so it can be collected and exported.
Ben’s face when he finds out that Leslie likes him is great, but I love that little binder smack on the shoulder Leslie gives him. Acknowledging her appreciation for him talking with Ann.
In all seriousness: Don't do the wet socks part. Just eat something greasy and high in protein and drink a large amount of Sprite. If that should avoid/cure a hangover or at least significantly reduce the period.
0:59 This clip hit different. Admitting you're not okay is a hard thing to do. Respect for anyone who has the courage and vulnerability to own it when they're actually not okay, and give an honest answer when someone asks "How are you?"
I usually say "fine" when I'm not because most people wouldn't be able to help me with my problems anyways, and I would just rather avoid the unpleasant conversation
Chris drove Ben to work. The rest were either dropped off there and slept or staggered into work through a hungover haze like zombies shambling into the horizon
"you're wearing snowpants" "i got home last night and i thought i might go sledding" the fact that the camera panned to her perfectly green lawn cracked me tf up
@@philledwith8307 ah yes promoting the torture, abuse, exploitation and ultimately throat slitting of a sentient animal. Great morals and values to stand behind
The two realest moments of the entire episode occur in this clip, Ron's hangover cure of burgers and fries, and Ben hanging his head as he admits to throwing up in the shower.
Such a fitting video! I had a copious amount of adult beverages last night and fell into the corner of my sink in the bathroom. I now have a black eye and a small cut above my eye..... I'll never drink snake juice again!
I like how in this episode and the one the guys get food poisoning everyone is somehow at work. If you’re that sick or feel that hungover how did you make it to work without getting into a car accident? I know it’s for comedic effect but still
This episode cracks me up. Can't remember the last time I've had a hangover. When I was a soldier stationed in Germany, I was told to take 2 Ibuprofen and sip water before going to sleep. It works.
Yes, from another show with the same episode title - this is episode 3:13 of Parks & Rec. Not sure why the have it as episode 5:14 of Saved by the Bell though, "The Fight" was Season 4 episode 1 of that show.
Ron’s Anti-Hangover Method: -Pan-Fry a large flank steak in salt and butter. -Eat the steak -Soak some socks and put them on. -Go to sleep. Apparently (from people who’ve tried this) it actually works.
I love the depth that Ron is completely immune to hangovers because of how often he drinks large amounts of liquor and his strategy to avoid hangovers which he explains while on a talk show
Has anyone seen a different version of the April/Andy interaction at the shoe shine stand? I remember April's dialogue being more mumbled and improvised and when Andy stands to chase her, in the other version he sits back down almost immediately and vomits on Kyle's shoes. I think that version is 10 times funnier and it's what I always remember. I watched this show on DVD before I saw it on streaming but even streaming I felt had that version too.
While staring at the toilet bowl at work today (post vomit), I thought a lot about how rough of a drug alcohol is haha like if it wasn't so ingrained in our culture people would think it was sketchy as hell!
