The "ewww stop it Hero" from Aubrey could stem from Sunny not liking the idea of Hero flirting with someone who isn't Mari or moving on from her. Since this is all born of his mind.
@@ayelxn I think it's interesting to think about how Sunny influences the behavior of his friend's headspace versions. Although, they are based on their younger selves so who knows? Maybe Hero said something embarrassing like that when they were younger and Sunny still remembers it.
@@Dazychain yeah, it was a good observation! I just didn't think anything of it at first and seeing it from that perspective made it sad haha, but it's really interesting to see the way headspace reflects sunny's emotions and ideas about his friends
I mean, this is dream world Kel, so kel like 4 years younger probably has a different view of girls and getting a girlfriend than 16 yr old Kel who was disgusted with Mikhael (for good reason)
Well as former small games Dev I can say that this little details is like a little shitposts inside your game. 99% of time we make them when we are bored. (I know that others do same from what I heard from them)

Spoiler warning ⚠️ In the dream world Aubrey is constantly saying stuff like that too Omori and trying so hard to get alone time with him that Kel tells them to get a room. She'll also ask him to brush her hair near the beginning of when Basil is missing. This makes sense because the dream world is Sunny's idealistic fantasy and in one of the flash backs where the violin is repairing itself Basil takes a picture of Aubrey and when you talk to him he'll mention how you always want to see the pictures that he takes of her and asking if he senses a crush resulting in Sunny's ears turning red. Aubrey being flirtatious in the dream world is probably a manifestation of his crush on her. This could be obvious to everyone but I was feeling proud if myself when my suspicion was confirmed.

One story from the Lost Library talks about a time Sunny rested his head on Aubrey’s shoulder, during a ride home from the beach, and how he decided to stay like that, after waking up. This memory is reflected in the picture shown, when Aubrey tags Omori.
also if you play the Hikkomori Route and enter a section of Black Space through Sweetheart's castle garden, there's a place where you get met by six Aubreys fighting over Omori
It's so realistic the way part of Sunny's dream world includes people who he had some sort of romantic feelling are giving compliments through the game. Dream Aubrey has a crush on him saying it openly and Dream Basil basically calls him cute and perfect while comparing him to the tulips
the "perfect" thing is actually from two days left (and is heavily implied to have actually been said by basil at some point due to the fact the dialogue calls him sunny) but yeah pretty much
Damn I didn't know these dialogues existed when I originally played even when I used those cardboard cutouts, is this a fun little console port exclusive thing maybe?
I have a personal headcanon that the dream world wasn't destroyed. Mainly because it's so detailed that it likely existed before SUNNY'S trauma. His friends would probably update to their current selves and MARI might not be there anymore٫ but I feel the world itself would still exist. After all just because he's getting over his trauma doesn't mean he's losing his creativity
I dont think its a matter of creativity. He spent years alone in that house keeping to himself. He def had time in his own imagination. And i disagree and feel it might have disappeared bc dream world was a manifestation to help sunny cope. If hes found his peace with the situation then it has no reason to exist
It's actually canon that Sunny had Headspace before Mari's death. In that library where you can get through Sweetheart's castle one of the memories that are written in books is saying that Sunny was daydreaming during class time and then Kel woke him up to get lunch together. And it says something like "Guess he would have to continue his journey another day" (Sorry if my English is bad)
not me being 1 year late again is because i went back to my omori phase anyways if hero is THAT charming enough in headspace to say "settle down, ladies..." then i dont know anymore do you think mari will beat him up
Ooh, I've never played this game but it looks nice! Reminds me of like Costume Quest, just a band of kids running about having a good time, presumably hitting monsters? I've gotta go check this out before I get any more spoilers!
