I made the version that you learned in culinary school a couple weeks ago. Using the blender. My wife loves Mexican food. She was so happy with that version it's the only way I'll probably make it from now on! Thank you!
This is very similar to the way I make mine, except I use onion chopped up, 2 cloves garlic and a can of tomato sauce. I substitute fideo for the rice when I make sopa. I have been using this recipe since my best friend in high-school showed me. That was around 45 years ago! So good!
I just made this for the first time last night, with chicken tacos & refried beans. I think I went a little heavy with the tomatoes, but after it sat out a while, it dried out to a perfect dish. I'm making this recipe exclusively going forward! It's so easy and delicious 👍🏻
I made this recipe yesterday only substituted tomatoes for can of Rotel and everyone really liked it thank you so much for the recipe! I have tried multiple times to make Mexican rice and it turns out bad always except this recipe so thank you again!!
I ONLY PUT CHICKEN BULLION AND 4 tomatoes 🍅 to 2 cups of rice and hella water. On high heat I bring that to a boil then turn it on low covered and 10min later I got the perfect delicious Mexican rice. I’m from Jalisco btw 😇😆
