My only "issue" with Navia is that her cons aren't as broken as some other fontaine dps, she is such a banger that I want an excuse to whale on her lol.
@@Otherface Her c6 is great yeah but her c1 is literally more ER and more frequent burst, totally unnecessary to a well played Navia. And when you compare it to other c1 in Fontaine... easy pass
@@Ananta9817 Yup, as I said its good but not game changer enough to make me really go after it. Units like Emilie, Clorinde or Furina have better c2 for exp. (Even Wrio's c2 is more interesting for Wrio than Navia's c2 for Navia). Navia isnt bad at all and fortunately she doesnt have bait broken constellations, Im not complaining 🙌
I love Navia too. For years, Zhongli was my only built Geo character, mostly because I didn't like the playstyle of Itto, Ningguang, etc. But then Navia came out and she's just amazing. Her EN VA did a wonderful job bringing her to life, her story was fantastic, and design is great (thanks Chiori) and she wields both a battleaxe and a gunbrella.
Honestly, I didn't much care for her design in that first trailer, but her personality and playstyle ended up completely reversing that first impression and made her my favorite Fontaine character. Cool and confident, but with a goofy side and emotional depth to feel like a believable and well-rounded person, and there's just something so comically satisfying about blowing enemies away with a rock-cannon umbrella. She might be the most flexible DPS, which I never thought I'd say about a geo character. Almost any claymore is usable (except, ironically, the Noelle claymore they slapped on her in that first battle cutscene), and just about any team from triple-geo to solo-geo with all sorts of supports can work. A weird trick: Chongyun (with C2) reduces skill cooldowns and can make triple-gunbrella rotations viable. And now, I need to go level up her shiny new axe...
I love Navia. It’s the first character I got that made me feel truly powerful with her big crits. I started just before Fontaine launched and had a halfbaked hyperbloom party before I got her. Her personality is just the icing on the cake.
Yasss! Her teams instantly became my favourites, they just feel SO fun to play - I'd love them even if they were weak damage-wise, but they're stupidly strong too 😁
I think she's so worth it jsut for all the fun plunge teams! Warnign though; any character you end up enjoyign plunging with feels sad without xianyun afterwards LOL
Yess, she seems like such a fun character! I will need some plunge practice though as when i used raptori’s (thanks!) in the theatre I was struggling a bit to hit the enemies 😅
Love her character design and love her gunbrella and gameplay. She is one helluva powerhouse. She even opened up a fun double hydro double geo team with Noelle, Yelan, and Furina

Ooh congrats! 🎉 Yeah shard generation can be a bit slow depending on the team and the enemies... Oddly enough the one team which seems most consistent at it for me is Navia plunge, I guess because plunge attacks don't have an ICD, and they have a pretty generous range 🤔

I was debating between her and Nilou, since i spent most of my primos trying to get Furina c2 and lost THREE 50/50s. This video tipped the scales for me towards Navia. I love Geo and Claymores, and Navia's personality is so likeable. Though i desperately need more hydro characters, I can't help what I like.

I love Navia cause she's the only geo character who's designed to benefit from mixing other elements in this game about mixing elements. Too many geo characters just go "UMMM no I won't contribute because you don't have a geo character's desk lamp on the field" Like why can't chiori just... use her full skill. I get having buffs from mono element (like lynney gets some dmg bonus for other pyro teammates) but they always feel the need to cut one of the character's legs off because you don't have one of the 2 not bad geo construct makers on your team. It's like if furina just didn't have 2 of her pets if there's more than 1 non-hydro character. Like why is that the case? that's just a check on what you have that isn't related at all
I love love love Navia. Her design alone, add her personality, and then her damage; she's splendid!! She's truly refreshing, and I absolutely loved how she came out. I mean c'mon a "gun'brella" --- SOLD!! I was fearful she'd get the "dehya treatment" and I was happily surprised at how well her kit works. I tried SO hard to get Bird Lady to add another dimension with Navia, but I she didn't come home. However, it did get me a c6 gaming. I think I'm a sucker for claymores lol. This is SUCH a helpful video, and I can hear how much truly do enjoy her in your voice. Great video 💜
Never considered pulling her on her first banner, but after how amazing she was in the story and my accounts need for more geo characters especially for imaginarium theatre in the future I decided to get her. She’s so pretty too
Got her c0r1 because she was the first geo to hit 6 digits in other people’s showcase. They say she’s like taylor swift at the time and i thought she voiced navia (only use jp voicelines) But it occurred to me time and time again she’s the type of onee-san that is good enough to claim as waifu. Not me though, i have high standards. So i just ordered a cosplay of her in uwowo >.> i already have her, so i went with nilou
I was tempted to skip her but I'm SO glad I didn't. Navia plunge especially is so much fun, though after getting used to it it's harder to enjoy the other Navia teams, even though they're still very good 😂
yeah bavia plynge did kinda ruin regular non-plunge teams a little 😅 same thing happened with my hu tao; her plunge team feels so great that playing her the old way just won't do it anymore LOL
I ADORE Navia - although I will admit my Navia team is kind of expensive being all 5 star units. My favourite team is Navia, Xianyun, Raiden and Father because I tend to plunge with all three. They started as a friendship team and became my favourite overworld team 😂Navia plunge is the best thing to ever happen. I swear, and this from me who only likes two claymores and the way they feel when playing. It's high praise indeed!
It isssss! You can plunge with whomever you want quickly and it has overload happening and boosts her crystalize - they take care of dailies sooooo fast!
This is such a good Genshin Impact character review video for Navia! I am so happy that I saved my guarantee for her after skipping her debut banner. My account is sorely lacking a Geo DPS, and my heart was lacking one Genshin Barbie 😂💛. I do not have Furina, but I'm interested in a Navia plunge team. Do you have anyone in mind that I could use to replace Furina in that slot?
Hmmm good question! Furina's pretty hard to replace in any team since she gives just SUCH a huge buff... the team would work with pretty much anyone for off-field elemental application though, and with Benny and Xianyun you've got healing covered. Since she wouldn't be doing normal attacks that rules out Xingqiu and Yelan, and I *think* Beidou? That leaves (excluding healers): burst Ganyu, Yae, Raiden, burst Ayato, Layla, Chongyun, Kaeya, Fischl, Candace, Thoma, Xiangling 👀 Xiangling would probably be the most obvious pick tbh, though Chongyun's cooldown reduction would be useful 🤔
Might actually try some navia plunge temas without furina to see how they feel 👀 But off the top of my head someone who provides consistent elements off field would be your best pick for sure!

I had such a thing happen to me yesterday. I was doing the last act of the simulanka quest and then once I finished it I immediately used some of my wishes since at the time there was only three days left of the current Navia banner. At the time I was with a family member and I was like “watch imma get a five star” and the wishes actually turned gold. Mind you I was at 6 pity at the time and had lost my 5050 on the Nilou banner to Mona. Since I knew that I was guaranteed Navia I was fr screaming with shock and got her at 13 pity. I’m actually very happy I got her since she’s one of my favorite genshin characters and plan to build right after my kirara. The only thing is that now I don’t have a guaranteed for Kinich but it’s fine. That was wild though!
Ah yay, a Navia video 😁 I myself completely fell for the Navia bait in Chiori’s C1 so using them with Xianyun and Furina. Really love that team. Looking forward to see how (and if) Kachina and Xilonen will work with her. I do expect my Chiori to be powercrept and potentially replaced.
Really hope they do - more Navia teams is always good! I'm not as big a fan of Xilonen's design, but adore Kachina... super curious what their playstyles will be like!

yeah I try to regularly go to a specific spot and eliminate some of the jellyfishes as I don't feel quite as strongly about them, and they're also the only kind of drop i *very occasionally* buy from paimon's shop with my dust 😂
Took a lot of resin to get a functional Whispers set for Navia but what I have works well if a little low on CD @ 173 so a refresh is likely. Her crit circlet in particular needs an upgrade. Managed to get Verdict in only 10 pulls yesterday so that has helped a lot with crit rate & I can adjust artifacts to favour CD as she previously had the Melusine weapon.
Navia is precisely the type of Geo character i want. They won't buff cristalize ever again? Fine, but she gives a great concept, by making cristals some sort of "Battery" for something. We need more characters like Navia. Those who gives crystallize a purpose. Sadly, she couldn't show up in a worse moment for me. Furina left my primogems dry (worth it), and besides me having a guarantee now, i doubt those 10 pulls from Neuvilette will help. Besides, Pyro archon is coming soon. Shame. I really wanted a great excuse to use Albedo again, specially considering that i have Furina and Xianyun. I really wanna try a Navia/Furina/Xianyun/Albedo team, but maybe next time...
100%! There's loads of potential for other similar things too. I think Nilou was the first one with a kit which does something that drastic to make a reaction completely different? Really makes the characters stand out when they do! Shame that you'll miss out on her, but hopefully she runs again soon. Furina definitely comes first!
@raptori I wouldn't say that Nilou changes a reaction. At least, not in the concept. She pretty much makes "Bloom but brutally overbroken". Navia is the one that gives another use for Crystallize.
Agreed! I'd love to see something where a character for example explodes crystallise shards, or alternatively increases the numbrr that can coexist and causes them to "resonate" which then either deals damage or heals or somethign else fun or something 👀
Yay! I won a 50/50 for Nilou a few days ago, and then I just won another 50/50 for Navia! Woohoo!! Now to grind for materials and artifacts for the next several months....
Make no mistake, I love my Navia. I may not use her in such a wide variety of parties as you do but I still use her regularly. But when talking about the current banner, we need to address the big elephant in the room called Nilou. I can't help it but Nilou is in my opinion much better addition for an average account than Navia is.
The problem with Nilou is how much she ask compared with Navia. With Navia, you just need a few off-field dps, and maybe another geo, and you are off to go. But Nilou? She ask exclusively for Dendro and hydro characters. And that's easier said than done.
@@Otherface You can literally give Nilou HP% artifacts and use her with Collei, Dendro MC and Barbara. No need to even level up her talents. Few characters get cheaper than that.
True nilou is one of those characters who makes the game very easy as long as enemies aren't resistant to dendro basically, with the tiny caveat that you gotta have a couple of dendro/hydro characters for her team... I was planning on wishing for nilou finally this time around but then I confidently screwed up and wasted every wish I'd saved on sigewinne's croissant, and alas, now it's a choice between nilou and emilie, and emilie wins for me 😔
Yes! Chiori's own damage suffers a little bit if there's no geo constructs (and likely there won't be since you wanna make sure crystallised friendly elements are being applied as well), but she's still a superb sub DPS, can help with particles and geo application, and you get geo resonance!

She does want Nilou, especially since she prefers the aesthetics of the new skin ...but after some awful luck on her birthday stream where she wished for Sigewinne's weapon and lost twice, she's probably going to have to skip Nilou again so she doesn't have to risk missing out on Emilie 😢
I was originally planning to and I tried a few pulls BUT after my own tomfoolery with sigewinne's weapon I can't throw too many wishes without risking not getting emilie :( (or having to swipe obviously which I'd rathr not right now) It's my own fault for spending all my saved wishes on the pretty croissant (AND HOYOS FOR NEVER GIVING ME EARLY 5 STARS DKDFHNK), but looks like I'm gonna skip nilou yet again unfortunately 😔
@saurusness isn't it better to get Nilou now? since Emilie is going to get her rerun 4-5 patches later (see Navia) and Nilou is probably will not show until a 1+ year later
I think she is mid top tier at best. Lower dps then most top tier. Only top tier other than hu tao who is also single target lock but at least hu tao has more dps. To avoid being single target lock you need 5star xianyun and if yiu don't have her expect mediocre performance in aoe abyss chambers.
For most teams I'd agree, but her damage in her plunge team is ridiculous... mine isn't all that well built compared to my other characters - 2.9k atk, 66/180 crit - yet she does 400k per skill and 100k per plunge, so that's 3x400k + 8x100k within an eight second window 👀None of my other characters come close!
