Found a commercial coffee grinder yesterday for 20 bucks. Lady said it was to heavy and she wanted it gone. 40lbs or so, and no problem I am happy to sell it for 450 all day long!

Is it possible to make decent money selling my vintage things as a vintage yard sale? I just do not want to do the online sales. And I have so many things that belonged to my Mother. I just don’t know if it’s possible because most people are looking to buy for resell. Maybe if I hang onto it long enough, I don’t know? I was going to get a booth at the one of the bigger Flea Markets here, but I really would love to just start selling these things from home. Do you think that’s an option that I should check into? Thank you for your time. If you don’t mind helping me figure this out I would so much appreciate it!

@@melissa-lf7ht typically in my experience you will get quite a bit less seller at a garage sale versus selling online. Smaller market versus a national and potentially international market selling online. A flea market booth may get a bit more depending on the size of crowd it attracts. Good luck!

@@melissa-lf7ht Just make sure you spend a bit of time doing RESEARCH on the value of what you have before you put it up for sale. You may be surprised by something really valuable. Your mother likely would have wanted the profit from the items you inherited should go into your pocket, not someone else's.

We had our own garage sale yesterday and it was similar to this. We had our garage door closed and had to open it to put stuff out but once we opened the door, half an hour before the sale was supposed to start, people started moving into the garage but we had to tell them to wait a couple of minutes so we could get everything set up outside of the garage. We were one of only two garage sales in our town so it was busy from 7:30 to 11:00, when we finally had no customers, then about ten minutes later, they started showing up again. Finally slowed down about 11:45, and we were able to close at noon, our scheduled closing time. It was very busy and tiring, but we did very well.

I apologize for so many comments and questions, but how do I know if a toy is the brand transformer? Does the toy have transformer on it? I have sooo many toys similar to these. It's hard to tell in a video if they're exactly like these & I don't want to list them for sale until i know. Ugh, the struggle is real & being an eBay reseller to make a living isn't for the weak or faint hearted! 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

It hurts my heart that plastic toys are worth more than something 50-100yrs or older antique, beautifully hand painted, or hand carved. I have several items I've looked up on eBay & unless they have a reputable name on them, they're not worth selling. 😞

My favorite part of another RU-vidrs video is the beginning where he’s tossing his balled up empty ikea bag walking up to the flea market. (Top Shelf Kicks, Aaron). It’s his trademark. My other favorite part? You unknowingly carrying a box labeled “pleasure videos” through a residential neighborhood. Hopefully not your trademark.

I don't understand... Why do people have all this unopened stuff? Is this an american thing? Why do people have so much stuff? Who keeps boxes of unopened perfume? And all this toys in boxes?! These people have more stuff on sale then all I owned in all my life... And I'm not a poor man, WITH kids!, but I only buy stuff I need. And when I buy something, I use it... If you need to support your family by reselling from garage sales them OK but of ypu plan to do it as a life long job I don't agree with it One you might not pay taxes on your profit and two you take away some treasures from people like me who can't afford the higher prices you charge on line.i do hope you find a good job that pays well and I hope you pay taxes on your profit on the reselling because you do film it on youtube I'm not being mean or hateful to you I just stating facts of why people may not like resellers
