To everyone, this is a happy ending, but this ending kind of saddens me. The past characters we loved so much are still dead, these are completely new people with no memories of their past interactions and struggles with each other.

Idk if im tripping or the world got reset. But i remember in the last chapter, the demons who had regrets they were reborned... There was a manga panel where zenitsu great grandson he walked to the stairwell and he bumped to the upper demon 6 and her sister he was still ugly but her sister still beautiful. Also in a different panel the drum demon was sitting on a chair in the library signing autographs and playing the drum.... And the demon kid was walking with his parents crossing the streets holding hands. I swear i read it i saw the panels but when i went to read demon slayer again the demons weren't there.... So idk

I have to give a in my opinion a fair critique. I feel like that the reincarnation aspect they went with kept it from ending perfectly. The problem is Demon Slayer Nesko should have still been his sister in the next life. One, I'm pretty sure reincarnation doesn't work that way if it was real. Two, when you consider their bond in the anime, it's just not fitting at all it's unfitting. Now that being said, do I find that a horrible offense? No, the show was awesome, and it's still one of my favorite animes. I just wish play chose a better reincarnation idea. Still enjoy reading the mangas! I have the whole box set collection! I just feel like as great as the series was. They chose an ending that doesn't really give it a perfect ending.

I somewhat agree. I would have preferred to see how they lived the remainder of their lives. Also with the reincarnations, it feels like the connections they had in their past lives I’ll not be as strong as they are in their current lives, especially for Tanjiro, Kanao, Zenitsu, and Nezuko’s reincarnations since they went from couples to siblings (it’d be weird IF once their reincarnations die they were to realize that they were couples in their original lives and not siblings). Also, none of their them will probably interact with each other as much or get to know and respect each other like they did as demon slayers since they probably don’t have as much in common and since their ages are drastically different and wide spread. Because if this, I don’t think the ending (at least the reincarnation strategy) was a 10/10. That being said, I can say I am at least happy that they all indeed did get a happy ending. Maybe they will not be close friends like they were as demon slayers (I am referring more so to the Hashira) but at least they got to remain close with the person(s) they cared for the most. Edit: I forgot to mention this, but it is my personal head canon that Yuichiro eventually got them all together somehow and told them about their past lives

They're descendants not reincarnations. Why do people keep calling them reincarnations? While characters like Mitsuri, obanai, Genya, muichiro basically those who died w/o kids reincarcerated,the rest are just great great grandkids of the main characters. Even Giyuu had a descendant and it was the kid who was shown with the reincarnated friends of Giyuu from the past .So Nezuko/Zenitsu descendants are cousins with Tanjiro descendants. If you think that's worst then you'll faint to know that apparently Touko which is Nezuko descendant has something with Tanjiro descendant Kanata. It is implied that they're dating 💀

yep. iirc, Tamayo told Ubuyashiki that she let him return back to his family after gaining his humanity back. only side effect is that he has to consume small amounts of blood. fun fact, his Blood Demon Art is what Tamayo used to pin Muzan down after Ubuyashiki blew himself up.

Im going to share my opinion about this. I think this ending was shit. Those are tecnically completely different people with different memories and identities. The past connections are perished as Nezuko and Zenitsu are SIBLINGS and other dynamics. Sanemi and Genya arent siblings and basically we never see their bond in heaven. If i was to write the ending i wouldnt reincarnate them. They would all simply be in heaven together forewer. And living in peace.

Only Genya, Rengoku,Obanai,Mitsuri , muichiro etc got reincarnated The rest are just the great great grandkids of the characters like Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke etc. Even the kid who look like Giyuu isn't Giyuu but his descendant. It was stated so in the manga. Reincarnation means the same characters but these aren't the same character. They're just descendants who've never live the same lives or died in the past.

They aren't reincarnated. They are reborn since they were born in human form again. Being reincarnated means changing form completely. You are reborn as a human, but you can be reincarnated as a dog or a cat or an insect. Rebirth and reincarnation are two different concepts. They are not the same.

I can get many dying but most of them that sucks. I also am really annoyed that it’s rushed. They could have done so many arcs each focusing on one pillar and their backstory before killing them, make the deaths hit harder. Oh no! The pillar I’ve only ever seen twice died! How awful! So many potential stories wasted

This is not an happy ending....it's so sad, depressing and heart wrentching...not happy at all..they r all now basically whole different ppl with same face and nothing else...it's just not it..I would rather want them dead and give everything a closure. Letting them all rest in peace, leaving them in the past as legends with one life, that's what makes a life precious and valuable even if it was bad.
