I didn’t realize that one could mix glitter with Mod Podge! The books look beautiful, especially with the mirrored book ends. I’ve been looking for a way to redo my stocking holders for the mantle this year. You’ve inspired me!
Very nice. I started with crafts last year and it was too late to find the deer, but this year I was ready 😅. I have more deer than ideas so thank you!! My problem will be in finding the mirrors at the Dollar 🌳.
You can skip the mirror and just get something flat for that part and paint the entire thing a matte black for rustic wrought iron look or gold, silver or bronze.
What a great idea! I have several children's Christmas books. I'm going to make those bookends & put some books in it for my 4-year-old grandson. When he visits, he can pick out the books he wants me to read to him.
i really don’t think you’ve ever created anything i don’t like! and your videos are truly instructional so we can easily follow along and make our own. such a joy to watch!
I love all, the old and the new. You never cease to amaze me. Happy Holidays to all your Subscribers and your Family as well. I always enjoy watching your Projects. Thanks for sharing... xoxoxo...
I love all your projects Denise, and am amazed on how you come up with all your ideas. You must have a beautiful home judging by the beautiful things you create. I love your accent, i'm British, and i often wish your videos were twice as long so i can listen to you talk. ❤
Absolutely gorgeous! Beau-ti-ful! 😍 I haven’t seen anything like these bookends and they are such a wonderful detail to the holiday decor. I’m so glad these popped up on Google because you deserved to have these featured. I hope you are just as careful storing them because you will want to enjoy these for years to come. So pretty! Thank you for sharing this fabulous idea. ❤
I always enjoy your creations. I am a blingy lady myself. So; I liked when you added the ribbon to those books. The deer's too are beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
I love the book holders with the clear plastic deer. I bought 2 of those deer last year and still don't know what to do with them. I love them they way they are and do not want to paint them you are giving me ideas.
Wow! The deer mirrored bookends are simply GORGEOUS! I will have to try those! My brother in law is an avid hunter and my sister has several deer themed decor items in their home. I’ll bet she would love these too! You have an incredible design scene. Love it!
I really wish deer weren’t considered holiday decor because I absolutely love deer! Totally LOVING the deer bookends and those white books!! I would use those all year round.
Denise, this is elegant for the coffee table. I love the books and how they turned out. All of your videos you hit it out the park. I love watching them. TFS, be safe and be blessed. 💙💙💙💙
Thank you so much for sharing, Denise! I love new crafting ideas…oh, for more hours in the day! I would love to spend a day crafting together! I’m in the process of reorganizing my craft room and could use 3X the space I have! Ha!
Cute! I love those reindeer! I picked up a couple more the other day just in case I thought of something else to do with them! 😂 I only wish they’d make them so they can be used 😊symmetrically!
Hello Miss Denise! 12 Nov 23, Sunday I have a very special crystal Teapot, that I received as gifts years ago--one from a dear friend, when I worked in the Jewelry Department at K-Mart, and a Forever Rose crystal pillar, from a thoughtful college associate from HGTC. Seeing your beautiful bookends designs-- has inspired me to put them on display in a more meaningful way! Thank you for sharing your creative skills--as I would never have thought to make such an elegant project!
I had one of these bucks but when I went to get it I noticed the antlers broke off. I use these to put my finished jewelry on for pictures or display. They look like glass but they are acrylic. I love these book ends they look elegant. 💝
I did the same( after watching your video) I painted my wood ends first, then glued them onto the mirror. I use mine to hold my grandkids pics instead of reindeer, in which I used clear self adhesive film then use them for book ends for their kid books. Thank you for the idea♥️
Great idea using mirrors with the acrylic/clear reindeer. It reflects light through the deer. Have a blessed Thanksgiving, Christmas and holiday season.
I think you are extremely creative. Those look store bought. I like the real books the best because the mirrored book holders gives those books a classy contemporary look. What a great idea and a wonderful job. 😀👍🏾
Wow! Those bookends are stunning! What’s nice about the bookends is that despite the deer on them, they can be used year-round. I’m tempted to make my own pair now.
I really like the book ends. Totally beautiful. Maybe the second bookends are the prettiest. I would add children Christmas books. Great gift idea. I would love to have a set given to me. thanks 🎄
I think they are beautiful and could be used throughout the winter, could even add some greenery around the base (just posed not attached) or change up the books depending on your winter holiday... Christmas colored ribbon or even printed sayings, or even Hanukkah, Yule, Kwanzaa, snowman, woodland.... So many options and could work within different styles too! ❤
I always get excited about projects until I add up the cost and ask myself if I would pay that for them when done. The reindeer bookends would be 11 items if the mirrors are separate...I guess $14 isn't too much and there would be some materials left over. Beautiful end results!
@@GrammyJeanify I hear you! I was just thinking about how I have to curb my enthusiasm when in dollartree because those 'just a dollar" purchases really add up!
