Fun fact, the goombas in the sewers originally hit on Goombella instead of being rude to you in the Gamecube version

The thousand year door is considered to be the actual best paper Mario game. You gotta keep playing it! The battle system is a lot of fun and the story is nuts too

If you press the A button at specific points for each character’s move, you’ll do a Stylish move which impresses the audience and causes them to give you more star energy for your special moves as well as attract more audience members.

I think one of the most happy and, I don’t know, soothing? relaxing? comforting? things for me to hear is a Quin video that opens with, “Oh my God, do my eyes deceive me??” There is just something about that particular opening that I love. And then I give thanks to the Lord for Quin and his videos. 🙏🏻😌 The end.

As someone who struggles to enjoy RPGs, I've gotta say, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is a _really good game!_ It's so charming that it totally bypasses my usual struggles to engage with its gameplay (turn-based combat is usually boring, but This One Simple Trick Will Surprise You!: press button for dynamic action).

"Look at his SOULLESS EYES. Nothing but VOID." 😂😂 Paper Mario and Windfish Link do both have the same eyes! Sorry Quin I can't stop watching this episode I love the first two Paper Mario games so much. The dialogue is so cheeky and sassy and ridiculously wonderfully stupid. Bowser is such an inefficiently hilarious big baby bad guy in them (Master Kohga/Team Rocket vibes). If you did a full playthrough I'd watch on repeat. The turn-based combat is a liiittle tedious but it IS strategy-heavy. I just think you'd have a blast.
