you're right for having a backup degree, I've seen my mental health getting worse due to no interaction and just being glued to screen and as a introvert, I don't even interact in groups. So, rn I'm not in touch with my school friends and I haven't made any friends from this degree too. I would suggest everyone to have get into other offline college and pursue this parallely.

Do I have to go to madras to collect my degree/certificate's hard copy upon completion or is there any courier service possible to deliver the hard copy? Also , if someone completes B.S. in Data science and application then he/she will get B.S. degree only or perquisites also which are done I mean B.S.+B.S.C+2diplomas+foundation everything separate milega? This question is silly I know.😅

There is no courier service available for the hard copies. But it is up to you if you want to go there t collect the certificates. Anyways certificates in pdf form are pushed into your student dashboard.

Really hoping a reply from you so my situation is that i have taken a drop for jee 2025 but as a backup i want to start this programme aswell, as in the bs data science the first year foundation level is maths eng snd so other subjects which are quite similar to the syllabus of 11th 12th and wouldn't be too hard to manage along with the drop right ?? How difficult would you consider the foundation level compated tovthe jee preparation? And will i be able to handle their exams assignments quizzes? And for the foundation level how many hours are enough separately to study the foundation course??

Foundation is easy. You can manage it easily. If you really want to do this degree go for it.

Hello di.. If I fill the application from before 26th may, then from when will the classes start?? (Actually I'm qualified to write jee adv so considering jee based entry) Is it like i fill it before 26 may n they carry on the qualifier process for other aspiring candidates n all together our course start in September???? Classes will start from may 31st. If you are in the eligibility list of jee advance, then you need not to take the qualifier exam, you'll get direct entry. If you want to write advance then for now focus on your exam and take the admission here in later terms.

Didi kya yahi course dubara September mein bhi aayega sabke liye? Apply kar sakte hai is course ke liye Jo students jee advanced 2024 ke liye eligible honge? Kyunki yeh course toh turant chalu ho jayega na abhi mai laptop nahi kharid sakti hun

My question is that 1. Is Bs degree I'd card valid for life time like BTech student I'd card. 2. Can I eligible for gov. Exams like SSC UPSC and other. 3. Does IITM provide internship in diploma level or degree level means in 2 or 3 year. 4. Will this degree help to do startups after completing MBA from IIT/IIM. 5. What is the highest pakage from Bs in data science and Al. 6. In this course,Have a better career option in future like after 10,20 or 30 years. 7. After completing my Bs degree, can I visit campur and can use their facilities for free like BTech students bcz we shall also alumni of IIT MADRAS. thank you so much. great video i just have a question i just finished by 12th, and i was always interested in cs field. but i can't get btech in cs from any govt clg. so from state govt clg I'll be pursuing btech in core branches (mechanical or electrical or chemical)( i cant get electronics 🥺)but i want to choose this degree because i have always wanted this.so that it helps me to do cse mtech. my question is will it be difficult to continue this with btech in core branch i.e will btech in cs will be easier? i.e should i take btech cs in a pvt clg instead of core in govt? also regarding qualifier exam..how does it work?

Yes. If you pursue both the degrees in the same field that would be much easier rather than to pursue degrees from different fields.

hi di i am your new subscriber i just finished my class 12 and i am considering this degree about the standalone degree part since you mentioned it is quite tough so i thought i can dedicate my time(i am interested in cs) only to this degree instead of giving my time to an offline degree which i am not interested in. is there any way that i can stay in iitm hostel and study bec i am not comfortable studying at home i would like to know your opinion on this please consider my comment

No. You can't do that. This is degree is online that means you can't stay at the campus.

Yes you get the exchange program in the degree level. But for that your cgpa should be greater than 8. And bs degree has its own clubs, although not sure about the entrepreneurship cell. But all other clubs are accessible to everyone.

Yes you can change the exam centre at the time of registration for every term.

The registration fee you pay is for the 4 weeks' lectures, assignments and qualifier exam. You don't need to pay for anything else

Foundation ke liye hard copy nai milti. Or campus mein jane ke liye apko fest ke liye rukna padega, fest saal mein ek hi baar hota hai.. iss saal may 30-june 2 tk hai. Next year bhi isi ke around aap expect kr skte ho.

The course is indeed tough. But you can manage it along with some offline degree, only if you create balance between the subjects.

Would you Please tell me if I can get educational loan for this course? Actual For a reason we are general & can't get EWS Certificate for the much land we have. In the other hand we cannot afford the total fees for these course as we don't have that much cash.

The tentative dates for sept exams are Quiz 1 - October 27 Quiz 2 - December 1 End term - December 22 You can cross check your jee exam dates and do the needful.

Hello mam, l wanted to confirm a rumour . Some people in the comment section of IIT Madras youtube channel were saying that after the completion of 2ed year diploma, candidates having cgpa >8 are allowed to further continue their course offline on campus. Is this rumour true ?

For qualifier and some subjects in term 1, you can mange with phone. But for subjects like python you need a laptop for practicing coding and giving OPPEs.

Jee based students ke liye direct admission hai. Apko qualifier dene ki koi zarurat nai hogi.

Will it gradually become hamper to me?. In nut shell can i able to make time for the both degree?. its a request to you .

You can manage both degrees only if you balance them. Doing a degree side by side means you are already making other commitments. But it is totally up to you, how do you manage both. For this degree if you take 2 courses per term, that means you have to devote atleast 3-4 hours per day for them.

They teach from basic to expert really quick. So if you don't like maths, it would be a little difficulty for you.

Maine ek student se baat kra usne bola is course pe dependent nhi rehte hai students sbhi khin n khin se subscription lete hai...aesa sch hai kya?

Yes you get student email id. And to visit the campus during paradox or any other fest, you need to pay a certain amount of registration fee. And if you visit on normal days, you can roam around the campus without any fee or procedure, without getting any hostel/mess facilities.

For the fee waiver, you need to select your category and provide the documents during registration of the term. Then whichever category you belong to, you will be provided the scholarship accordingly.

Didi I have a question how much content do we have to cover in a week because I have my college lectures as well. Somewhere I heard its 3 hours of recorded lectures per week but is it overall 3 hours or 3 hours per subject cause if I take 4 courses ut will be 12 hours of recirded lectures per week which will be a bit difficult to cover. 1. For single diploma 6 theory courses and 2 projects. For BSc & BS 7-7 courses individually. ( No. of courses may vary depending upon the credits) 2. The only impact it can have is you not getting comfortable in studying two different fields. So, it is your choice what you want to do.
