In my second company my background verification had failed even though I had genuine experience and certificates. It was because the training period in the first company was not uploaded in my credentials by HR of the first company. I was told by second company to correct the situation by contacting the first company's HR after I told them that my training experience is genuine. I had to contact the HR of first company, show them their own company issued training certificate and offer letter of training, got the details uploaded/updated in my credentials in the first company and then the background verification was done again. Only then they cleared background verification check.

Let's have a govt portal.when employee joins, it is validated by current employer. When he leaves, again validated by current employer. All future employers just refer this portal.

The offer letter or appointment letter is confidential so no one will ask to share it. Experience letter/relieving, period, character/behaviour related etc those are very related to candidate can be asked generally

One company didn't give me an experience certificate despite the fact i served a notice period they had destroyed my career...I worked hard for them.

I am an experienced person with 3.4 yrs exp. Recently, got an offer from TCS. I have a gap of 7 months between my 1st and 2nd employment (during 2019 ). The reason for this gap I had provided as health issues in the application form. What medical document exactly would I need to explain this gap, could you please suggest? In the BCG list of documents its mentioned : Documents to explain gaps during Employment/Education: Medical records for gap due to medical reasons / Affidavit with Notary Authorization for gap due to other personal reasons.

Great Video, Can you please make another video for background verification when a candidate is having an ongoing criminal case on him. These days having an ongoing criminal case is not a big deal many people falsely accuses others in an attempt to extort money unless the person is declared guilty and is convicted till then even the courts of law also considers the accused as innocent. Mostly seen in matrimonial disputes with false 498A complaints to extort money, but does how company looks at that candidate in that case. From my own experience it was seen negative by an HR and they didn't wish to proceed... But how does it looks for Background verification if in case the candidate cleared the interview.

Many have told me that it is only the last two companies that are reached out to verify the details mentioned on the CV? Also, if the company is no longer operating in the market, how does the prospective employer do BGV?

Bhai recently mera BI fail hua hai Worlds one of the biggest corporate firms due to previous employer negative feedback. I didn't complete the notice period in my previous company.😢

If the HR of prospective company is asking for documents like Aadhaar, Appointment letter, pay slips of existing employment even before having a final round of interview. Is it ok to provide such documents????? I'm afraid they will make verification from existing employer even before having offer letter in hand.

Problem is that BGV asks for references phone numbers of peers, and managers. For once, a reference to Manager can be reasonable. Why ask for reference of peer? As for the address verification, yes, the BGV company did turn out immediately after information was furnished. What background verification should suffice is educational, most recent employments, and documents appointment letter and payslips. This too much intrusive questionnaire is abused by some HR in some companies

Employee should not be any criminal records. That's sufficient. Rest background verification process is just Fart process. Some company mgmt and HR want to release fart or gas that's why this process happen. Sala Private company job kee koi surety nahi aur faltu ka upar se background verification. What's the ridiculous.

Hello, I had been pursuing my MCA (Regular) program, but due to about a year of online classes in covid, I started working full-time at a company. Later, I received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from my college for the job. Consequently, I gained 2 years of experience as a software developer after completing my BCA, all while successfully finishing my MCA without any backlogs and good aggregate percentage. However, after clearing all the rounds of TCS interview, they reviewed my documents on I-begin portal and informed me that they couldn't consider my experience due to my concurrent MCA. I'm now wondering whether it's advisable to omit my MCA when applying at other companies like Infosys or Wipro, risking potential detection and rejection during background checks, or if I should honestly disclose my MCA alongside my work experience. Please advice me what should i do will the mnc will consider me?
