An unlikely but fun idea is a spiral staircase and you need to go up 250 flights of stairs. They can have numbered doorframes and that light on top the door. You can always look down and see how high up you are. There are various subrooms every few doors, some requiring a key or a lever. There are also throughout the whole thing windows and paintings and vents/crawlspaces. A new entity similar to eyes will appear out the window and make it glow and damage you if you look at it. A new entity called bolt will spawn like rush, it will break the light on the door number and zoom down the middle of the stairs. You need to hide in a vent and look away from it. Looking at it=20 damage. Failure to hide=instant death. One entity will show up inside of a painting. It is a Black shadow with glowing blue eyes. You have to inspect the painting to make it disappear. Failure to do this and opening the next door will have him fly out of the painting and into your face, doing 30 damage. His counter will be an identical entity, but with purple eyes. Inspecting its painting causes a jumpscare and 30 damage. Another entity is called rumble. It will warn you by shaking the next door and making a growling noise. If you get too close to the door it will fly out, do 30 damage, and send the player into a rag doll falling down a few flights. To survive rumble, wait before opening a door for it to stop shaking. To keep it interesting other than entities, loot can be found in the subrooms, as well as a lever or key needed to open the next door. Sometimes you have to complete a painting puzzle similar to the ones in the hotel. You also may have to rotate an oddly shaped painting into its frame. Some doors are rusted and you have to hit them a few times before they open. An item will be at the top of the floor and you get an acheivment. That’s it 😃
actually in there will be a really flooded floor since we already have those and it would be before floor 50 like 40 or smth and the room would be really flooded and and you need the snips and 2 lock picks and get the pressure area and 100 doors and the entities the angler, smiling guys and then those sky scrapers
It could be a water based area. In doors floor two they added the feature of drowning that really didn’t effect us much. Maybe it’s teasing an area associated with water, since we got that slug teaser which might like water areas, and the game is surrounded in watery type areas (the dam which is meant to hold water. The river areas. Along with that giant ocean area at door 200) and the fact that seek absorbs water, if so, it could give us some seek backstory. However as pressure is all about the ocean, doors might not do this do too the possibility of fans thinking they’re just copying. (I hope it’s water related tbh, doors has potential using it without copying)
It could be that Pressure and Doors could do a collaborative merge where the Floor 2 sub level relates to the Hadal Black site (But with no PDG thus drowning is an option) and the N.O.S.T. division hinted at in Pressure could have something related to the Hotel occasionally just showing up and vanishing meaning you'd need to go through a different section of the Hotel before being received or left to die (Since you'd still be an EXR-P considering that in the Raveyard you are still expendable and are replacing the trained Operatives who would shit down the Raveyard (and yes I knew it just released a couple hours ago and yes I have all of the documents... I need help 😁))
@@EpsilonEclipse oh my gosh that would be perfect! It would make everyone so happy if it was! It just makes sense lol Whatever the case I bet in the next update there’s gonna be at least one pressure reference
@@0penCircut-ClosedMind Absolutely at least one reference. Pressure has the crucifix so it would be kind of funny to at least find a Ferryman Token in a Floor 3 side room with the mention of it probably being worthless like how the EXR-P describes the crucifix.
For your 2nd theory, something more relating to the mines: An area of the mines is more volcanically active, so lava and stuff. Allows more fire and lava themed entities n' stuffs. Mischevious light could be the focus of the level, or another one of the architects.

I have a completely separate theory where to access this sublevel you must take an alternate path in pursuit of the minecart, this path would be indicated by the Curious Light and would lead to a secret route in a lower part of the mine. This path would end in a secret room just outside of the nest, with an area only accessible with the shears and a way to get to the nest if you don't have them. This sublevel would consist of a larger and more difficult version of the nest where you would have to find your way out through several increasingly difficult areas, something like the Backrooms. This version would also include new entities, not only the already known Grumbles
this 'deep nest' would likely have a smaller amount of rooms, but rooms would be a lot bigger, whit of course, a bunch of giggles and grumbles (not the queen grumble, she'd stay in the regular nest), as well as a bunch of seek goo trying to take over.
@@deyahnaugonnetboulais4801 yeah, like the normal the rooms, but this "deep nest" would have an exit at door 20 an another at door 50, with a time limit cause of the seek goo
Something to mention is the small balcony seen below the bridge in The Nest. I believe that it could serve some sort of purpose later on, considering how it's currently only used for a few bits of extra loot.

@@VullyColoured The rooms would look kind of like old minecraft caves similar to how rooms looks like a basic wooden area compared to the complex construction of the hotel.
seriously A-1000 to A-2000 would be kinda cool though. it would look like the normal rooms though rotted, kinda like rooms and doors. and also like floor 2 the same entities from the normal rooms will appear (A-60, A-90 and A-120) but probably joined by new rooms entities.
@@Youraveragecosplay B-60, reverse eyes, you must look at it B-90, large humanoid creature, destorys the room around you B-120, Hide but for the backdoors

Because the secret subfloor for floor 1 was a reference to a diffferent game being rooms. So maybe when entering the subfloor in floor 2 you will enter an area similar to pressure making both subfloors references to similar games. (The backdoor is not a subfloor)
I'd love a pressure-themed subfloor. Only problem is that while the rooms were easy and cheap to make, since the original was very low quality and simple, pressure is even more complicated than the hotel. Many features like turrets, hazards, flooded rooms, and items would be much harder to make for just a subfloor
It’s probably Curious Light or the red light. I’m fine with either, I want to see what the red light actually is, but Curious Light is a funny character and I would love to see more of it.
@@HungryWarden all the architects protect their own domains guiding light - main floors (hotel, mines, castle(?)” curious light - sub floors - (rooms, backdoor) mischievous light (yes i know its name isn’t mischevious light but i’m not calling it just red light) - modified floors (SUPER HARD MODE, survive the drakkobloxxers, and modifiers) if you’re still confused, look at the completion badges, they’re all color coordinated, with the floor completion badges being colored blue, the subfloor completion badges yellow, and the modified floor completion badges being red, all being their corresponding architect. the same goes for the crucifix badges, since the guiding light is the only one able to control the crucifix, you can only crucify the entities in THEIR domain. which is why the crucifix doesn’t exist / work in super hard mode / survive the drakkobloxxers and rooms / backdoor.

Maybe they could add 'The Tombs'! It would be like 'The Mines' as they are both underground but instead it would feature ancient mummies and skeletons! Instead of having 'A-1', 'A-2', etc, it could say 'B-2' or 'B-3' since 'The Rooms' would be A and 'The Tombs' would be B. Maybe to access the sublevel, whilst in Seek Chase, maybe curious light could appear in a turn and take you to 'The Tombs' while you are in a minecart. Or possibly, it could be a hallway in the small balcony below the bridge in 'The Nest' which could lead you to a door titled 'B-001'. You would need to use shears to cut this hallway. After the player/s has cut the vines, they would next have to hold 'E' to move a mummy to the side. Once you have completed all the (I don't know how many) rooms in 'The Tombs', it could spawn you in a room that is similar to 'A-1000' in a way but once you teleport back to 'The Mines' it could probably be an infirmary type room and the player/s could have a little cutscene where they all wake up from the beds. All of this is just an idea but it could inspire some fanmade games!
I would say to get to the subfloor door, you would need to go to that anchor spot with the tunnel and rocks and stuff if u know what im talking about, and then it would continue for a bit to a long ladder, covered in vines, that would lead down to a generator gate covered in vines. Then, you have to find 5 fuses scattered throughout the nest to open the gate. Then, there would be a door 100 elevator type thing, but then you need to find FIVE MORE fuses to power a generator, then do the electrical box minigame to power it. And after you FINALLY do all of that, you go into the elevator, but the cables are cut by a grumble, then you do down into what I think is going to be like a 100 door long maintenance shaft for the sewers ig, but it begins with a 5 door long grumble minecart chase, so more like 95 doors. A couple notes: -Fuses can be used interchangeably on the gate and elevator generators. -The electrical box minigame would have the box thing broken/shattered (like anchor D) and you must rely on the sound cue. -The electrical box minigame would also be faster, but no "??" numbers and 2-4 random fuse numbers would be etched out. -Number of generator fuses will scale with players in the lobby. (more specifically; 1 player= 5 fuses per gen 2 players= 6 fuses per gen 3 players=8 fuses per gen 4 players= 10 fuses per gen 5+ player= 15 fuses per gen)
I have a subfloor idea and it fits very well with the lore: The Gates The Gates is findable when you reach Door 175. You need to cut vines using shears 2 times, and then use the generator to open the main door and it will open the entrance to The Gates. Here are the entities: Veil- Imagine if A-90 and Halt had a baby. Your vision will flicker. When this happens, STOP MOVING. When your screen stops flickering, you may move again. If caught, he will take 30 damage off you. Snatcher- Lore standpoint, this is immature Dupe. Dupe is matured Snatcher. A darker spot will appear anywhere around the map. If you go on it, Snatcher will snatch your leg and make you take 45 dmg in total. A way to maneuver him is pointing a flashlight at the dark spot. It will deactivate Snatcher for 5-8 seconds. If you want me to continue making up entities, let me know!
an idea i think would be cooler is that the new subfloor is accessed in floor 1 but you need to use the rift to bring the shears and unlock it. although they would have to remove the shears from the courtyard for this.
overgrown lava area would be cool, and like in some rooms there is burning vines and if u touch it u take as much damage as you do from seek chase hotel fire, and the strongest entity in the new sublevel could maybe be a monster made of flesh like figure, and stuff like grumble, and it has arms coming out of the roof, and it could make boulders fall. hole could also be in it from the tower heros event, and hole is in the lava, or like seek sludge, and he pulls you in. a third entity could be snare or big vine, and to get into the new sublevel, you need shears to cut 2 very large vines, each vine using 50% of shears so u need full shears, and a skeleton key, which can be found with a grumble guarding it. it could be a grumble that is in between a giggle and grumble, or a king grumble, thats a bit blind so u can get through it easier. i also think coming to the rooms and new sublevel, instead of a curious light portal thing, its guiding light. also, there is a big hole in the nest, so the enterance could be in there, and there could be lava in the hole, so you would have to parkour there jumping on the large vine or bits of it. pls like so he can see
they could add a new item such similar to skeleton key to open the room, which you would be able to find in THE NEST so the secret room AND the key are both in the nest. Also shears would also be importans as they would act as lockpicks in the first floor, so you have to cut the vines and then open the door with the item found in the nest.

What it has something to do with that weird secret room in the basement and the big door before door 100? I also have a theory that LSPLASH is gonna add the og doors which could be a harder and more complicated floor 1 to the hotel or something maybe through the big door?
ik im late to commenting on this vid but this guy is giving the devs so many ideas for the sub-level lol, also the way bro says "I just thought it was cool" at 4:53 just sounds so badass and goofy at the same time
My personal theory (and one that's a bit funny to think of) is literally going into pressure. My reason for this? The rooms is a separate game. ... that's really about it
I have another theory,so you know how in The Hotel/Mines we have Guiding Light that is related to the main storyline, and how Curious Light belongs to sublevels such as The Backdoors and The Rooms.Well, given how we know there is a 3rd light entity I assume that we will meet it during the new side quest, that also matches with the hellish fiery level cheddar balls described.
I feel like the sidequest for the Mines, would be like the rooms, where it is a different dimension, and I call it Portals, and Mischievous light is present there
it isn't called miscchievous light, the actual canon red light has no name mischievous light came from the tower heroes event which is non-canon where in the canon doors there is no name for the red light
Good theory, but I think it might be spooky's jumpscare mansion, considering the fact that the rooms was an inspirational game for doors, just like spooky's.
actually in there will be a really flooded floor since we already have those and it would be before floor 50 like 40 or smth and the room would be really flooded and and you need the snips and 2 lock picks and get the pressure area and 100 doors and the entities the angler, smiling guys and then those sky scrapers
A Idea I made Is, after you complete the nest you must reach a specific door to reach the subfloor, After you enter for the first time you would get the badge and the subfloor would be unlocked In the the elevator selection screen In the lobby so It wouldn't be time consuming.
My theory because the first sublevel of doors is based off of one of the games inspirations and since both of them have a completely out of place style is that it is the 1000 room mansion, of “Spooky’s jumpscare mansion” this might be a stretch, though if they still go with it, my idea is that it’s only for scenery
Sub-levels have a consistent theme of being within pocket dimensions, where curious light just kinda chills out, so I'm sure wherever it is has either been severed at some point like the backdoor or is something else entirely like the rooms. So far the mechanic behind entering them is that you open a door which works like a one-way portal until guiding light portals you out. I'd guess if its somewhere once within the mineshaft, its either an obscure area (like how the backrooms is storage for the hotel) or somewhere special, which is why I doubt we'd see an entity currently residing in reality like Snare. We may either see the reworked scanner or starlight, indicating the purpose is essentially your floors challenge for a bottle to help you out. While the rooms is technically the hotel's sublevel, the one that you'd actually consider a reasonable one is the backdoor, being a pre-game way of getting starlight, so I'd imagine it'd be a convenient option like that.
Theory: The subfloor could be named "The Magmatic Depths" and lava would be everywhere, You'd have to go 50 doors to pass this subfloor, with a rising lava part at the end of it. There will be some new entities, but I'll let you show your entity ideas in replies, Maybe this sub floor could be where we could meet mischievous light. which of course wouldn't help us like curious light, but a tad bit aggressive.
if doors is in "the haunt", i think there will be a new sub-floor for it, then after the haunt ends, the floor will stay but get moved somewhere & harder to access, just like the backdoor. i also hope "wade" is in that sub-floor.
Maybe, the red light would be the one inside of it. Yeah i know, a big stretch, but judging how each light has their own areas (ex: backdoors/curious light and rooms and the hotel and mines for guiding light) this could be true!
I’m just gonna throw some stuff around for what I think the entrance of the new subfloor could be from your video. My theory on how we could access the new subfloor is on door 150 as you said on 2:56 and it’s also the most reasonable location to me. In door 150, maybe the entrance could be blocked by a mini bridge which can be lowered by finding a secret harder anchor after turning on all the other anchors. (And maybe the entrance is blocked by a vine or something , maybe the secret anchor could also be overtaken by the vines ) Overall this is just speculation, I could be close or be wrong, either is still a theory and I’d like to see if anyone could improve on this. (Plus I’m just talking about the entrance ;-; ) (Also great theory, love watching your video when you post :> )
it HASSS to be roblox pressure, they added drowning like 0penCircut-closedmind mention, and guess what pressures whole thing is. DOORS UNDER WATER! so it makes the most sense
I have a really funny idea Rooms subfloor was based on the game, Rooms! What if the new subfloor entrance is in an underwater room, and it takes us to a subfloor based on pressure. Now you may ask, but what sbout the back door? To which i say, the backdoor is different, its a prologue, and you cant go into the hotel, and find a door to the backdoor, you need to spawn in IN the backdoor, whereas rooms, you find its entrance IN the hotel itself But this is still just an opinion, feel free to prove me right or wrong, thanks for reading all this!
I feel like the subfloor would be spooky's jumpscare mansion because for the hotel+update the subfloor was a different game that inspired doors with is rooms so the next subfloor would be spooky's jumpscare mansion because it's a inspiration of doors.
Concept: Floor 2.5: The Blacksite A bit like the pressure hadal blacksite, maybe a collab with pressure. There would be a special room partway through the mines where it looks like a submarine dock, which is where you go after beating the Blacksite. It would have side objectives and an exit partway through, and one at the end. Also badges since I’m bored: “Expendable, Apparently” - Enter the Blacksite “Rocky Road” - Exit the Blacksite “Peer Pressure” - Complete all side objectives and reach the end of the Blacksite (Also, just to clarify, this is just a concept I made)
I remember one of the developers talking about how the reason the Curious Rift was added is because future quests would require multiple items. I feel like the Skeleton Key and the shears would be a perfect fit for this, like you mentioned in the video.
I thought of the name Grumble Depository while watching the video. This subfloor could take place in the part of the nest where all dead grumbles are kept. The species has become very optimized on how to prevent death and this area of the nest has since been abandoned because of it. I imagine it being a 100-250 door sub area that is not made hard by its length but its entities. The entities in this area would be relentless, snares, thorns, undead giggles + grumbles and others would constantly try to hunt you down. The undead ones would basically work as a heightened danger but limited time version so the undead giggle for example would only drop on you but do 1/3 of your hp or somewhere around that. The grumbles would be faster but eventually become immobile. Halfway through the area the vines around the rooms start withering and the heat is rising bringing new entities and dangers along with it. If this subfloor does have a boss maybe a past grumbles queen who died or something
doors developers got inspired to make doors by rooms and spooky jumpscare mansion, they made rooms sub-floor, so maybe they will make spooky jumpscare mansion sub-floor
Theory: so you know how in room 152 is a vine dude grabbing a lamp? well, the rooms sublevel came on the hotel+ update, so we can speculate that it would be the same. lets say a new item in the game is released (or a new interactive point) with the vine dude, using maybe the lighter to burn the vine dude then climbing (idk how the player wouldnt take damage so prob ill work on it) this, will lead you to a sewers themed (like the second half of floor 2) path but a more wild one, being a lot of vegetation and vines, then, theres a not numbered door that requires shears, lets say two uses of them, when the door is opened, the player will be teleported to The Sewers while showing an animation of them falling (like that grumble start animation but on first person) and will enter this sewer but wilder themed like subfloor. ambient hazards: there will be pretty noticeable swirl in the water of some rooms, and some pipes to show why the water just dont drain at all, if the player falls in it, they get killed and presented to curious light. (uhh im gonna rest a lil bit so ill follow after)
WAIT! I have another theory. For some reason, people have made these vids where they showcased a fake new light called the Viridis Light, like the herb of viridis that you find in the infirmary. Similar to how curious light is used in the rooms (the hotels sub-floor) they could have the fake viridis light or some other plant themed light which is the one you find in the sub-floor you mentioned. Similar to how Curious Light doesn’t give you any info and they’re just neutral, the new light tries to help you, but they’re not very good at it. Lemme know what u think!
I feel like the problem with having it in the nest is that it wouldn’t be clear enough to the player that this is secret optional side content, seeing as many terminals make you crawl through small little tunnels or cut through vines, the players might think upon seeing the entrance that it is just part of door 150 Also I think the subfloor could be bunker themed (maybe a good place to bring back the NVCS-3000 which you’ll need to see in the floor?)
my theory is that the floor 2 subfloor is called "spooky jumpscare's mansion" because The Rooms were just one of the games DOORs was inspired by. So I thought that Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion would become a subfloor too.
Yes, the vine subfloor is a really cool theory and i agree with it, but it couldn't have any teleportation or something doing with curious light or being on other dimensions. Cuz think of the rooms: they have NOTHING to do with the hotel, because they are a different dimension. Same to the backdoor. BUT, as the vines and garden rooms are something from the main dimension it wont make sense to be another dimension, but instead an entrance covered with vines that start a new door tipe (for example the doors are made out of wood a little infested with vines) Or it can be a new dimension NOTHING to do with the main one to add a little challenge and to expand curious light's lore.
@@Peashooter32842Maybe the Grumbles are like animal colonies but also kinda royal. So there might be royal settings and a King if there’s some expansion with the Nest.
Right, this may sound crazy, but hear me out. The main subfloor tbat took place halfway through the Hotel was the Rooms. In terms of theming, not very similar to the Hotel. The same might be the case here where the theming isn't particularly consistent with the Mines. The Rooms however, unlike the Backdoor, are unique for being one massive reference to the game that inspired Doors, the 'Rooms'. Essentially, what I'm trying to suggest is that the subfloor could potentially reference another game similar to Doors, personally my money is on Pressure, a crossover between these two games would be amazing to see. Now do I think that this is the likely purpose of this subfloor, no. But it's just a theory I wanted to put out here just in case.
It could be called "The GreenShafts" Items that could be in this sub-floor: Viney Shears: will be much durable than the normal shears, will function as a stun item, how? you will stab entitys. Viney Crucifix: will crucify any entitys in the sub-floor.
i imagine that the mines sublevel would be ubicated at the final chase of the nest. but you have to make a turn in order to get to the door of the sublevel. and to enter the sublevel you need the shears and a big ol fuse that has all of the 3 primary colors in it, the big ol fuse rarity functions like the candle. it has a 100% chance to appear in the run. BUT you can only find one per run. also, the big ass fuse can be bought in jeff's shop to unlock another door that i imagine as a vault, where there is a TON of gold, and also mining tools like a magnet that attracts all of the door near by and also a little bit of dynamite to destroy rocks and stuff
Entity concepts Rage: he will search the room five diffrent times and will get faster and more aggressive every time he doesn’t find you Width: he will flicker true lights to make you hide and then he will knock ur Locker down and shake it for a couple of seconds. If you stay in the locker the whole time you will survive but if you leave he will jumpscare you Combust: he will break the lights and make the screen have a tint of red so you will be forced to hide in a locker (trying to do in plain sight won’t work and he will just find you and kill you) Now the question is. What will happen if he gets you? He will run towards you and once he catches up to you he will explode dealing 95% of ur hp And now we have the architect of this hidden sub-floor Curious Light or the red architect to fit with the concept. You made
Theory: The Hotel Sub-Level is a collab with another doors-like game, yes? Well, I suspect is that in floor 2, a secret room can be accessed in The Nest, where it requires going through a flooded area and needing to cut vines to progress. After going through enough flooded crawlspaces, the player will be in a flooded room, where the only way to go is down. This will lead to a hole, and attempting to fall down the hole will teleport the player to the floor 2 sublevel, which is a collab with another doors game... *PRESSURE!* yup, my guess is that floor 2's sublevel will be none other than the Hadal Blacksite. soo uhhhh good theory or no?
My theory: The rooms will be the green things themed. You need a shears and a key . You will able to get the key in the mines from jeff shop after the green themed rooms in the mines update. The key is called Skull Key as we all know. We would never unlock a skull if it was in a door but we can use skull key. It is possibly the rooms wont be called but it will be like rooms with less rooms or full rooms.
Theory: Ambush actually has a little bit of seek inside him trying to infect him. That means Ambush is in a lot of pain. Which explains why he screams. Seek can't fully take over Ambush, because Ambush is too strong. However, Ambush is always panicking about the seek inside him, which explains why he rebounds. The reason Ambush kills is because the little bit of seek inside him is making him kill the player. What do you think about this theory? 🤔🤔
I think that depending what theme it is it would have different locations as the overgrown, garden like area would be locked in the garden room of the nest requiring 3 total uses of the shears and why i choose 3 is so people can use the shortcut to the area and possibly open one of the chests present if you had not already used that pair before and the second would be at the bottom of the chasm in 101 requiring a roll of cable found near the elevator in 100 however it would only be grabbable during the final chase so you can't just immediately grab it without some risk
I think it would be cool if you could see the access to the sub-level in door 149, but can’t actually go in because you’re in a cutscene. Instead, you have to find a door that leads up to it from the nest
Thinking about how the Rooms is basically the original Rooms game, I’m thinking they should stick with this game reference theme and make a subfloor related to Pressure
I think that at the end of the hotel there will be a subfloor before the mines, like the backdoors. And I think I know what that subfloor is. Remember at the floor 1 ending? Where figure rolled onto another floor. We might have to do some puzzles in door 100 to access it. But there might be a problem, you’ll have to go through a hundred doors to attempt it. I have a solution tho, after you get into the subfloor the first time, there could be a badge and if you have it then you will be able to access through the lobby. But that’s just a theory, A GAME THEORY
For me I think the access for this subfloor would be in door 152, which is the Jeff's shop. I think this is likely to happen as the video stated that the subfloor might be overgrown Cavern themed and in this subfloor there would only be 10 rooms and the boss battle will continue from room 1 to 10. I know it sounds weird considering the other subfloor never had a boss, let alone cuntinues the boss in 10 rooms but this might happen and the boss could be the snare as we have seen it and its likely to become a boss.
I think we will need shears but also another item. The skeleton key came out in hotel + after release, unlike the lockpick. I theorize that we will use the shear twice and use another even rarer item like the skeleton key.
My idea for the subfloor it would be that it would be much harder than the rooms, but it would be like 500 or 700 doors, and the item for completing all doors it would be like the green flash light from the rooms but instead it would be a green bulk light Edit: but the green bulk light would last for way shorter than the normal bulk light, an example of the durability it would last a little bit more shorter than a normal flash light
The Caves seems a cool name for the sub-floor on Floor 2 Edit: The Light source should be an Lantern that we put the Possesed Candle on it and the candle would go off when an entity would attack, and to re-light the candle we need to find an Fire that when enter in contact with the Possesed Candle the message on the botton would be: Your Candle Restored The Moon Spell.
I honestly hope that this subfloor Will actually be the player going to "Spooky scary mansion" Since it's known that Doors was based of rooms and Spooky scary mansion, And the rooms were already added as floor 1's sub level, So I feel like floor 2's sub level should be Spooky scary mansion, or maybe floor 3's because a mansión and a Castle are pretty similar
Now, I have a pretty bad theory, but maybe it could be possible that in the sub floor, we start at A-1001, and have to go to A-2000. There could be new entitys, like A-1200, and stuff similar to that.
remember the weird doors when you complete rooms? yeah, I think we would need to go through one of those weird doors AND it could be why the other elevator failed to stop at room 100
i feel like the idea of what the subfloor will be is clear ; in the credits of DOORS, there is rooms (floor 1 subfloor) and... SPOOKY'S JUMPSCARE MANSION! my theory is that the subfloor will be inspired by it, or maybe even a collab
just want to say, rooms is not at door 60 because its the mid point of the game, but its there because the first entity in rooms is a-60 and hence fitting to place at door 60
I think the subfloor will be like the rooms but destroyed and taken over by mischievious light, it will be at door 120, kinda like at door 60 revealed the rooms because the main monster is A-60, so it will be at door 120 and the main monster will be A-120
My theory on the sub-floor is that it will be an homage to Spooky Jumpscare Mansion. See, the Rooms is a collab with Nicorock5555, the creator of Rooms, the game that inspired Doors. However, Spooky Jumpscare Mansion is also one of the inspirations of Doors. So I assume that the sub-floor could be a mansion
