The 25k projection was a two decade projection, not what was lost. They only projected 700 in Y1 but wanted billions in public money to pay for it. They also refused to pay taxes for the HQ in Manhattan. Amazon is unsustainable and caused an influx of people in Seattle that started to wreck the city. In the long run they would've been publicly subsidized without the same level of output they were given. There's was no 25,000 jobs to begin with. It was a lie and something Amazon couldn't ever promise. They would've folded the taxpayers and make no where near that amount of jobs in the long run.
