Same he's the one who brought everyone back and got badly injured cause of it he deserved more action even with an injured arm he still is the hulk they shouldn't have scrapped it
Spectrum Gaming I would’ve preferred to see how regular hulk (Not Professor) fight Thanos. Hulk lost the fight, not banner, and I’m willing to bet that’s the rematch most fans wanted
The whole world wanted Thanos to beat the shit out of Banner while he was in the Hulkbuster, only for the Hulk to explode out of it angrier than ever and have the show down of all showdowns with Thanos.
Seriously! I was totally expecting the Hulkbuster to catch a beatdown and then you see a closeup of Banner's eyes starting to change and then it cuts to a wide shot of the Hulkbuster and you hear a loud *thownk* but nothing happens. Then a full second or two later, the suit violently explodes, erupting like a volcano, enter Hulk, putting an epic asshanding on all the baddies within reach.
@@evilgenius3646 yeah and I was even more certain of this when they realised that toy with the hulk and hulk buster my son was expecting it to happen aswell he was pissed haha
@WhyOWhy I don't know if I'd stop at one. The entire middle third of the movie turning into a time travel heist where we rewatch movies we've already seen was pretty lazy.
My dad died in 2010 when I was 8, and he took me to see the first Iron Man, that was our movie we loved the theme song we loved everything about Iron Man, so when Tony's final words were said it was 10x more emotional for me than anyone else.
Honestly, that part of Tony Stark trying to sneak around Asgard in a stealth suit only to be seen by Heimdall and then fighting would have been pretty cool tbh
@@mauijttewaal Hulk in the movies is far weaker than his comic book counterpart. Certain versions of the Hulk would slap Thanos unconscious with a single slap.
Something doesn't make sense to me. If the "soul for a soul" thing is how they got the soul stone, wouldn't it by definition work the opposite way? By returning the soul stone, you should be able bring a soul back, aka Black Widow. No?
It makes sense where y'all are coming from, it's just Red Skull literally says, "an everlasting exchange, a soul for a soul." It's not technically an exchange if you don't get a soul back when you return the soul stone.
The thumbnail always makes me laugh. Looks like Thanos had too much to drink & Hulk is just being a good friend, holding him back from getting his 4th DUI...
The whole point of the Hulks story is that he has become soft, but still had the strength to give something of his powers to save everyone. His development was the best in my opinion.
Massive wasted opportunity...the crazy thing is they kinda set up this rematch in Infinity War. But all we got was just Banner in Hulk's body....Hulk died after Ragnarok.
Red Skull is no longer trying to conquer Earth, so he and Steve wouldn't even have a reason to argue. An awkward moment, drop off the stone, and move on to the next mission.
What would be interesting is if the tall skinny mesa with the big dropoff, and maybe even the lake, doesn't exist while the stone is not in the possession of the spirit of the planet or whatever it is that has the stone before somebody falls. And soon as the stone is returned, the sacrificial cliff is reformed, waiting for its next victim.
I imagine Steve and Red Skull actually having a pleasant conversation about how they had made such different decisions and wondering why that was. I also imagine Steve putting Natasha's body in a morgue so they could give her a hero's funeral later.
Thanos makes smart ass comment to banner about his dead girlfriend. (natasha) smart hulk loses his shit and becomes red hulk. Red hulk smashes the iron gaunlet and stones fall to the ground. Iron man retrieves the stones just as thanos throws red hulk off. powered up iron man smashes thanos in the face THEN snaps.
I’ll never watch another STUPID superhero movie again. Is a waste of time and money. Not to mention it don’t fill you with anything to satisfy the mind and soul. Except these movies is a propaganda machine to accept BIG government , mind control and worshiping the occult. Defending government and the one world order they are representing. The NWO
When I went to see it in the movie theatre the day after it's initial release, the crowd would cheer at times, and laugh during others. But when we saw the stones being placed on Tony's gauntlet... total silence.
Not only misleading, but total bullshit. If you look at the picture, it´s the Hulk from the very first Hulk movie !!!! Note to self: Ignore any crap posted by this Idiot !!!
Like the explanation that the Hulk wasn't afraid of Thanos because it was the first time he got beat bad in a fight, like pretty much every fan thought? But it's that Hulk wouldn't allow the transformation because he was upset with how Banner viewed him. Man that's one of the plot points that bugged me about these movies.
Tony's death was exactly as it should have been, ending his heroism with the very line that started it! It was brilliant! BUT.. His hero memorial should have been seen, while the memorial we got afterwards, should of been for our beloved assassin who sacrificed herself to make it all possible in the end..
Technically, Tony Stark’s last words in Endgame was “Hey Pep”. He nods to Peter when he asks Tony if he could hear him. I think that the amount of effort Tony put to say “Hey Pep” were more devastating as he was trying to stay alive to protect the ones that he loves dearly. Of course, he stops after Pepper says that he can rest now which is a reference to the insomnia that he was dealing with due to Thanos’s forces invading New York.
No, thats not about "rest" like sleep. It was her knowing that he would never stop being ironman (she even said that) and that he would give it all. He saw himself responsible as a defender ever since he created the suit and so when the deed was done she said he can rest now.
Why? So he could lose again? A 5 minute fight between Hulk and Thanos would cost so much money, literally millions. They already had a fight, and he lost. If anything, we would've got a short fight between Hulk and Thanos instead of Captain Marvel, but he would still lose that fight since narratively, the win (the snap) is going to Tony. No one could beat Thanos in a fight, only the stones were his undoing
Damaged Heroes Captain Marvel was about to defeat Thanos, he panicked and used the power stone on her when he realized she could defeat him. Look at her face, she struggles at first, then she appears calm as she uses more and more power on Thanos as she tries to get the gauntlet. So she can defeat Thanos in a fair fight Also, Dr. Hulk was injured by the infinity stones before Thanos arrived. So Hulk would have once again been defeated as you said
Lionloverky Actually no, she couldn't have beaten him in a one on one fight. He had already been taken on by most of the avengers including Scarlett witch. He was injured. Cap with mjolnir did a number on him, which lead to his armour being weaker and his helmet coming off. I have looked at that scene, many times, in fact, she has plenty of time to punch or attack with her right hand and doesn't. Right before that, he threw her away with ONE HAND. He knocked her the fuck out with the power stone to get her to fuck off so he could snap
@@wholelottastairway8 believe what you want man but if hulk went worldbreaker he couldve decimated thanos but only with 4 infinity stones that is, if thanos didnt have the gauntlet then it would be like crunching up a piece of paper when hulk went worldbreaker in the comics he stepped and the entire eastern seaboard started to shake and tremble dont compare thanos to hulk, in the comics even thanos knows that hulk is the biggest target and to take him out first, but alas the russos had to turn our boy into a huge pussy
@nicholas cage is my spirit animal so your basing MCU movie Hulk off the comics, and specific comics, when there are hundreds of Hulk story lines in the comics, none of them which are MCU canon. There is a comic version of Banner and Hulk becoming one and he's not as strong. The Russo's made him bring back half the universe utilizing his gamma properties, something that Dr. Selvig mentions in The Avengers (paraphrasing) "the tesseract is emitting low levels of gamma radiation" Also, Banner beat Cull Obsedian, so say what you want about Hulk, that's your opinion, but they actually gave Banner an arc and a hero role instead of leaving it to the Hulk
Cap wasnt stuggling to pick up Mjolnir in Age of Ultron, it was moving but as Steve Rogers is a humble guy he didnt want to take the thunder (pun intended) away from Thor. Thats why Thor had that face and thats why he yelled out - I KNEW IT! in Endgame.
Agreed! Movie was short tho watching it for the 5th or 6th time but watching it the first time, 4 hours would’ve been too long but idiotic thing about marvel is that they don’t extended cuts. Shame on them
Mr. Mayhem I went to see it 5 times and bought the dvd, Blu-ray, and 4K. I would sit through 4 hours of movies if it’s really good. And I would have for this movie if they addd the aerial fighting scenes in it. That would be cools to watch.
@@l0aded_0fficial77 man of steel had the budget of making a superman and zod flying around destroying metropolis in their wake then so can marvel, they have more than enough for a budget film of that calamity
I hate when movies or TV shows scrap ideas because they think the dumb dumb audience won't understand. Why must we suffer for the idiots of this world?
Well maybe because they make these movies to make money first and foremost and not for charity. An ordinary person must enjoy the film as a whole even if he/she hasnt seen every prior marvel movie.People go top movies to have a good time and not for evry comic episode to come live.If only fans liked the movie the reviews the mouth to mouth reviews would not have been that good and it wouldnt have earned half as much as it did at the box office.
Truly the only thing that irritated me was that there was NO final fight w/the Hulk Vs. Thanos (Part 1 I know). But The Hulk is a character that channels your inner "you." The ability to lose control & go crazy. As a fan, it really annoyed me seeing him talk, humble & docile the entire film. Not only did he look smaller than all the other films he didn't even fight
What's more unnatural was randomly having all the women "specifically" coming together to fight as a group. Felt out of place during a fight that's taking place all over the battle field
But wait, there's more.... The women banded together to 'guard' a heroine who single handedly rammed through a mothership and a few of the flying giants, without taking damages, or even breaking a sweat. Talk about redundant..... I mean come on, the Wakandan foot soldiers needed their help a lot more....
@@thade7062 couldn't handle it? all he said was it felt unnatural. you called it fan service, which means the same thing. you acting like he had a mental breakdown. Can't you handle a little criticism or disagreement over a minor detail?
Agreed. I’m not even that much of an analytical movie-watcher but that scene totally broke the immersion for me. I remembered I was watching a Disney movie.
Was pretty sad he had so little involvement, but seeing just how damaging the snap was to him, both accounting for his strength, and the gamma radiation, that his arm was still in a sling during the later funeral scene. Plus, getting to see Ant Man face-punch a Chitauri leviathan definitely helped make up for it, too!
He should have lost all of his cool composure over the death of Natasha. It could have been flaunted at him and created who knows what inside of Banner / Hulk
Misleading, clickbaity title. Most everything they talk about was never filmed. They were ideas they had that didn't get followed through on...that's not "cut". These aren't deleted scenes somewhere, sorry.
@@mauijttewaal I respectfully disagree. Film scripts ALWAYS go through many versions, with a lot of ideas changed along the way. Those are never referred to as "cut from (the film)". When you cut something FROM a film, it implies that at one point it was IN the actual film. This video title is to entice people by making them think there are extra scenes out there somewhere to be viewed.
I expected Hulk to take on Thanos in End Game, but to also say a key line, "Now!". In my mind, Hulk operates on a different mental level then Banner, more instinct less thought. If you recall Hulk fighting Banner at times to convert, saying "Not Now!" refusing to turn into the Hulk...and I thought it would be cool if Hulk knew he couldn't take on Thanos until the time was right and to say NOW from across the battlefield and to just plow through everyone straight to Thanos. It would have been great. Also, the narator got the story off on how the final line "I Am Iron Man" got into the movie. Apparently the Russo brothers had wrapped up filming and everyone went home. Some time later they went for dinner, and I don't know who but someone suggested the line. They ended up inviting RDJ to a meeting(i think a meal) and threw the idea at him, but he rejected it because by this time he was out of the MCU for a while and wasn't in the mind set to go back into character and shoot a late addition. He eventually came around and they shot the scene long after the movie wrapped, and he was the only one on set for those shoots which is why it was close ups.
Well said. Maybe someday we will get a Director's cut or something that includes this scene. Afterall, both characters are CGI and I'd love to see Hulk busting out of the Hulk-buster (no pun intended) as someone mentioned earlier.
@@christopherbowers7236 I wager its maestro hulk. Tony miraculously, figures out time travel, creates the arc reactor, and is plagued by visions of thanos. But he also wields at some point in his life the guantlet. That may explain how he was able to pull all that off .He could basically project any thought he has back to any past moment he lived after wielding the gauntlet/timestone as explained by the ancient one or in other terms possess 5th dimensional thinking. Well so did the hulk. Who after IW finally miraculously merges the 2 persona's. The hulk may end up being something else in the future and may explain why he wouldn't help in IW. Since angry hulk is just Bruce's subconsciousness.
Elliott Sohns What I think it boils down to is what did the children gravitate towards? In the first Avengers movie all of the longtime adult fans of the Hulk character finally got to see him portrayed the way they had been waiting for. And it was AMAZE BALLS! But who did the kids love more in that movie? Tony Stark. Nowadays movie studios go off of what the kids will love because that equals more dollars in the pocket.
Hulk would have lost again...what you ppl dont realiz us thanoa fought them with no stones in endgame and basically beat them but iron stole the stones on fake corny plot and ended it...br thag thanos was murking them
@@robedwards7285 in the comics, Thanos says, before he gets the gems, that he has avoided fighting the Hulk, because Hulk was probably stronger than him.
I still hate the how the hulk was portrayed in the past mcu movies ! In Thor ragnorok he was only there for comedy ! 😒 A complete disappointment in infinity war and a big green Banner in endgame . I really wished he would’ve did more than just throwing a bench after finding out Black Widow died ! 😕 smh ! 🤣
@@poppop9448 Hulk don't bring people back from the dead! He makes them be Dead! The real Hulk does anyway, but not this pussy MCU Hulk! The MCU ruined the Hulk in the last two movies!
Not everything can be perfect ... I think they've struggled with using Hulk since the very beginning. They wanted to have him be part of the original and most iconic Avengers line-up, but it really isn't easy to have this destructive beast be an effective team member. In the end he often caused more problems than the enemies they were facing ... so for the final movies they banished the monster altogether. I think moving forward we'll see Banner move away from being an Avenger, and return to being a loner due to the Hulk we all know and love coming back.
I am incredibly sad that the scene of everyone kneeling at Tony after the battle was cut, I feel like that scene would've really shown more of how amazing the sacrifice that Tony made was. Not only that I feel like everyone would've been balling their eyes out at that scene even more than we already were when Tony died.
They only one I wish they would have left in is more of the aerial battle. The rest were fine being left out. P.S. Why couldn't they have done some kind of joint tribute at the funeral scene including Black Widow?? That still bothers me, she should have had something!!
7:50 we all already knew that... you can see it move a bit when cap tries to lift it, and thors face suggests he notices it move. that he purposefully didnt lift it is interesting tho, but now that reaction after makes a lot of sense.
When I was watching the mijolnir test clip in age of ultron I noticed that cap did move it a bit (it was more of a tilt) but he was able to move it Thor noticed it and when cap gave up he smiled
As a huge Hawkeye fan, when the scene with him and Black Widow came up I was just as emotionally torn as Clint. While she didn't get the same treatment as Tony in the movie, I was more upset about her death than Tony's.
Well to be fair only hardcore Marvel fans would know about him while the more casual fan or average movie goer would be left completely lost. Hell I didn't even know who he was until this vid
Hardcore or not, that sequence would have been fully fucking mental... and a TOTAL film-stealer!!!! - even if they put it in Infinity War, that'd've been fine. But I get it, I get it...
I don't think it could have worked. LT is the second most powerful character in all of Marvel, and even Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet would be able to do absolutely nothing against him. If he were to have judged Thanos guilty as stated in the video, the movie would have been over.
I know everyone wants to see a Hulk vs Thanos rematch where the big guy wins (myself included). Hulk has never beaten Thanos in a fight, but Thanos admits to avoiding unnecessary fights with the Hulk.
It was also kinda weird how everyone who got snapped back saw a portal magically appear in front of them, and with no explanation decide to walk through it. Not all of them knew what those portals were.
They should film a 30 minutes movie about how Captain America return the stones. No problem with the time and power stones but: how he put the mind stone again in the stick?, how he put the space stone into the theseract?, how he put the ether inside Jane? and why he has to return the soul stone if it has been changed for Natasha's life? Any way it supposed that there is no a Thanos in this reality (where they pick the stones), they have killed two Thanos in the first reality.
He got literally the best ending possible lived with the avengers family for years and got to prove his worthiness then got to have his dream family and kids with his soulmate
You're missing one thing..... Hulk vs Thanos! This is why Joss Whedon should have finished the trilogy. He wouldn't have nerfed Hulk for no damned reason!
@@TonyStark-ky2mt Whedon actually used every character properly. Not like the Russo's throwing away Hulk because they were afraid to use him correctly.
It’s been so long since I’ve seen iron man that I forgot about “I am iron man” They brought him in and took him out with a classic RDJ ad lib. THATS why RDJ is the best.
Tony should have said "I was Ironman" to show that he knew he was sacrificing himself. Anyway, hope they add the cut battle scenes to the director's cut. I felt the final battle was too short.
in Endgame it was the Editor who brought it up to Russo's, and convinced RDJ to use the line, It was literally the last Scene RDJ did in a short re-shoot.
@@VagueMemory They are saying in this video that it was in THIS VIDEO not even talking about IM1, they are saying this, endgame is where the line was adlibbed.
He didnt almost lifted it he just tested if he could lift and when he found out he can he stopped because he didnt wanted to disrespect thor. Wich makes him even more worthy in my opinion
he got it from a different timeline and had to return it to the exact time it was taken to avoid branching timelines. so that timeline continued as it was supposed to and "our" timeline never changed.
It wasn't that RDJ's last words were changed to "I am Iron Man"...they were added. The editor of the film, Jeff Ford, ACE, came up with the idea, pitched it to the Russos and created one of the most impactful moments of the film. We editors don't just cut stuff and leave it on the cutting room floor. Just sayin'.
Yeah, of all the characters in Infinity War that honestly would have needed the least amount of plot armor, they seemed to have Strange skate on it the most.
I think an AWESOME Bluray extra for Endgame would've been if they'd brought back the Marvel ONE-SHOTS short film format just for the most epic short ever: actually showing us Steve's adventures returning the stone, reuniting with Red skull, being at Peggy's funeral, et al. That huge tale was BEGGING to happen in a one-shot, but alas,.... I guess SOME things are better left unsaid/to the imagination. But it would've totally rocked.
Really? Kinda so simple that its lame. What about "there are no accidents" ? Way better line. And if you talk about moments, no movie has ever beaten the Rohirim Charge of Lord of the Rings. Its epicness overload and gives me the biggest gosebumps imaginable
Low key mad that the Tony Stark and Morgan vision thing didn't happen. It would've been so good and just continue to set up the future of the new heroes that are to come
