I don't know why but this reminds me a bit of 'A Birdhouse in Your Soul' by There Might Be Giants. I think it's the manic, tongue-in-cheekiness of it all. Great fun and very catchy although I can't work out most of what they're saying...

@Danieljfletcher Cont. It had a distinctive beat and tune, clear lyrics and the randomness was brilliant. What do I see in it? What does anyone else see in a song? The audience appeal. Not everyone likes Metallica AND The Beatles. Everyone has a different genre appeal. Photoshop Handsome happens to be in my favourite genre. I have made a chipmunked version of Photoshop Handsome on my channel. Lol.

@Danieljfletcher That's the brilliance! The change of pitch, randomness of lyrics! We never see this type of originalness anywhere else! If you don't like it fine, that's your opinion, but why actually bother commenting if you dislike the video? Just continue on your mary way. If I get rick rolled do I post another comment and waste my time? No, I just continue on watching other videos etc. Bottom Line (literally): People have different opinions. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Lol.

@thiscityiskaoss @furygun81 Would you compose a song that is sang so distorted with the pitch all over the place so people could not work out what is being sang? I think the song has some rhythm and is up beat but every other area is amature at best. I hate songs that have random lyrics, sang to create a tone and not a song. R Kelly was the master of terrible random lyrics, these guys will be the champions of 'apparently it's in English'

I've been a gamer for 20 years and I've never seen a game where you gain an extra life if you get a high score. In fact, in games that feature a high score it is usually awarded at the end of the game, so an extra life would be completely useless at this point. Sounds like a failed attempt to be geeky.

Im English and this song sound like it's in another language. The video is as bad as the song. I think they sang it this way to disguise what they were singing about - im a graphic designer and this song does not appeal!

I don't really like music I am not really into any particular genres. But I like a couple songs by a few artists and the list is very small for 99% of songs I am completely indifferent. But this along with MY KZ YOUR BF are amazing songs. And the rest of my very small list mostly stuff older then me. So kudos to everything everything for creating 2 new songs that I actually like.

Could it be that the comment, in addition to praising this brilliant band, also criticised those great satans of music, Simon Cowell and the X-Factor? Dload it then find it under podcasts, right click and hit create AAC version -- find mp3 in library, profit/success.

@MrRyanLofty because they released the song as a single initially in 2009, but it didn't get noticed by tv and radio, perhaps because the video has blood and stuff, and these channels are very picky when it comes to violence. They're re-releasing the song so they wanted a new video, this is the original, but the recent one is the one that you see on tv.

@yevrah1210 you might have me there. but i do think you know what i am on about. i understand the term to mean the post-production finishing, the precise arrangement of the different elements. but you see this all the time, the album version being dumbed down for radio and missing some of what was great.

@tskikunas Oh, believe me, I never pay any attention to the charts. Perhaps my comment wasn't clear - I'm old enough to remember when the charts WERE dominated by great bands and music like this. I wish it were still so. All the music I buy is pretty obscure by commercial standards, and that's the way it'll stay.

You gotta listen to Final Form by Everything Everything, I think that tune really puts the band into context, I was unsure about this one to start but now I love it, Final Form is a more serious tune so will most likely be more popular than this one. 39 people didd'nt give it a chance

I agree with TroutMaskReplicaa on one point..it's not original. It's very tough with the massive output of pop/rock whatever to be original anymore. It's all been done before but it's pretty adventurous for all that. And, the fascination for other eras is nothing new, it's a continual phenomenon.
