holy fuck the singer's vocal melodies are just unbelievable, and the emotion he exposes in this song is just something special

This video is super creepy when you watch it muted but I did that anyways in order to notice that: at 0:39 is Michael, the drummer at 0:49 is Alex, the lead guitarist on the far right at 1:20 is Jeremy, the bassist at 2:07 is a barely discernible Jonathan, the most excellent lead vocalist and director of this video on the far left and the guy at 2:51 is how I feel every time I listen to this band.

Translated the binary that flashes up at the end. It translated as _Water can carry a boat. It can also sink a boat._ This quote seems to be from the Prime Minister for Emperor Tang Taizhong, in the Chinese Tang Dynasty, in the early 7th century, though I Googled for the quote so this might be innacurate. Also love the video itself, and the song is lovely. No idea what to interpret it as yet though.

This song and vid was the first work by Everything Everything I came across. I seriously immediately felt that there was something extraordinary going on. (How right was I.) Hard to find bands this smart, witty, creative and above all genuinly motivated and talented. SUCH an attention to detail as well. (I could go on forever). Get To Heaven is without a doubt the best album of 2015, and getting to experience EE live was fucking magical

My good taste of music brought me here.

I normally don't care about music videos, but something about this one really resonated with me. Honestly, I just discovered Everything Everything yesterday, but I can honestly say that they are already one of my favorite bands I've ever heard in my life.

I like the bit where they sing the band name (1:49). Full marks!

This song live at Boardmasters was beyond sick,awesome band.

I really like this music video, The mask is beautifully creepy, the extras playing the cultists pull of some convincing facial expressions and the effects are simple but brilliantly executed and everything fits the song. I especially liked the part where they used the fire as a impromptu green-screen, fantastic all around. [EDIT] Oh and the music itself goes without saying.

This an amazing video!! It has references from a lot of things. People have mentioned the hidden message at the end, which is apparently an ancient quote. The fact that the song says "Everything Everything" in it, the phonograph from the Distant Past video. The various members of Everything Everything appearing in the video. Also, I'm getting vibes from the Man Alive album cover, and sensing a theme of the opposing primitive/uncivilised and the modern/digital age, although I've yet to figure out the precise meaning behind this. And to add to all this, the song is just brilliant!! So catchy, I love it! Top marks for Everything Everything on this one
