GOD the Tsuzumi Mansion arc is my favorite in the ENTIRE show. Kyogai (the drum demon) is my favorite 'sympathetic' demon, probably because I'm a writer myself. And it's a subtle thing that I've never seen anyone else acknowledge, but in his flashbacks, he was already a demon when that asshole was a jerk to him about his writing--meaning that he was turned into a demon but retained his humanity enough to not kill people completely mindlessly or anything, and was actually provoked into it in that particular case! Mind you, he became a serial killer and ate people plenty after that, but still! Also, the introduction of Zenitsu being badass and Inosuke's... everything is also great.

Fun Fact, Breathing effect are not canon. they are supposed to show that the way they use their sword mimic the element of their breathing. this was said my the autor. this is why the effect look kinda off and the art look more like a painting than the art of the anime

So I know this is a little late, but an interesting detail both about the anime and in japanese history, tanjiro first assumes a bear attacked his family, and based on the time period of the start of the show, it likely takes place in the years of the second string of attacks by a bear in Japan, resulting in several people's deaths. The attacks took place in 1914 i believe

This video is just show me how overhated demon slayer is. Just because it has 'mid story', amazing sound, song, bgm, animation, cgi, coreography, character, emotion, and etc doesn't mean this anime is bad anime

An easier way to get who the VA's are is to google it as well. A lot of times I'll do that and don't get any spoilers from the main page when it shows.

@animewins hey, just so you know both season 2 and the movie is the same but the first 2-3 episodes of season 2 got cut from the movie. So if you’re covering next season hit those episodes then it’s basically the movie. No spoilers - ((Just gives some back story of why the flame hashara is on the train)). While the movie is him already on it.

Ok, My Man, Your Content is Fun and your Commentary is always Entertaining... But Could you PLEASE Lay off on the Jojo comparisons?! ALL of the Tropes Shown that you use Jojo as the Model of Comparison are Just Common Shonen Tropes that Jojo did not in ANY way invent, it wasn't the First to do them, and it didn't even do them Best! I get that you love Jojo, but you're giving it WAY too Much Credit by Making it the Bar By which you Compare everything else in Nearly Every Aspect of comparison! (Seriously, Each character having unique Abilities even with the same source of ability is an ABSURDLY common Trait in Shonen, it's the Standard, there is NO Need to compare the Demons' in this' Unique abilities to THAT show in Particular!) The Hunter X Hunter Comparisons Feel much more respectful, At least for those if Feels like you're actually just pointing out how they have similar things, But the Jojo ones Feel so reductive, like you're just saying "Look at this Silly little comparatively Low Quality anime Copying Jojo! Doesn't it know that it'll never Match up?"... To Be Clear, I know that's not what you're TRYING to do (I hope?) But it Certainly FEELS like it the way you're using Jojo Like it's the Ultimate Compliment to be compared to it! (When Wining other anime, if you refer to Jojo it's usually done more the way you did the Hunter X Hunter ones here, "Oh, look they did a cool thing that's like this in this other anime I Like", Why does it feel so completely Different here?) Also, Yes, "Cuteness overload" is the appropriate way to react to Nezuko in General... Until she decides to Grow up... Then it's Completely Different Feelings you should be having...

I like the manga, but they never explained why Tanjiro could see the spirits of his family, but there are a lot of theories out there. My theory is the reason he can see the spirits of his family and even ancestors is because of something called the transparent world.
