She says the same thing in basically every video. This is quite literally her job. Notice how she’s never rated anything below 7/10 once in her career. It’s not very genuine.
@Erin yes she has, go to one of the vids where it says "what I eat in a day living on a cruise ship" she rates one of the food 4/10 which is lower than 7/10 , so she doesn't like everything, so really ur wrong and it's her content after all so yeah
Thinking something taste nasty isn’t ignorant or rude not everyone is gonna like ppls native foods. Plus she didn’t really try anything that ppl normally don’t eat.
. Heres the difference. " eww, omg how could you eat that your peoples food is so gross i could never." What she said " yea, i dont really like it the food is not really my thing."
@@cosmicmuffin322. Maybe she didnt hate it that much and it just wasnt her thing. Also yea shes gonna be happy i think thats just her personality. Just because you dont like a food doesnt mean its always gonna deserve a spit out and nose wrinkle.
I have a “fancy” restaurant near me. My GF and I had a $100 gift card, so we went. Still spent $80 and had to go out for dinner afterwards because we were still starving 😂
They better serve you 14 different dishes with portion sizes being what it is at that price 😅 I got egg yolk at the house. ... for people who keep commenting, I understand why people would want to experience "fine dining." I was literally making a joke. Calm down.
Keep in mind if you are going to Michelin Star resturant, you are going there to taste the talent of the chef that is cooking your set menu not to make yourself full, since this is seen as a type of art. If you want a lot of food for your money there are most likely plenty of places around the resutrant where you can get a ton a food for a cheep price.
in many of these places, people leave feeling fairly full. each dish is small but there are many courses, if you combined them all into one plate it would be a huge platter.
True, however I'm not paying that much for the best chef on the planet to give me those tiny amounts and for me personally I wouldn't have liked most of it anyway.
@@julietravelvlog this, unless you have a incredible appetite, in which case you can add dishes from the a la carte to the tasting menu, you will leave absolutely stuffed. The foods are incredibly rich and heavy.
For two Michelin stars - in Singapore that's actually pretty much a bargain. 3 Michelin star restaurant in Copenhagen is €500 per person for perspective and in France some one Michelin star places are €300
That’s so cheap for what it is. 😅 A 2 Michelin star restaurant is no joke, that here in England would be that for possibly 2 courses from an a la carte menu. Higher prices are typical for high standards.
As someone who is a celiac and can never experience these gorgeous restaurants, THANK YOU!! You describe everything so beautifully. I feel like I'm there and getting to experience the food with you! 🤤✨❤️
You can experience it! Just make sure it's a gluten-free course, and the portions are so small even if something irritates you you can move on to something else Since it's so high end, celiac can maybe be accommodated in some restaurants
I've always wanted to go to one just because I want to like taste how good the food is. but at the same time it's like a tiny little serving that isn't going to feed me if I'm actually hungry. I don't want to spend 1,000 bucks and then have to go like order a pizza afterwards.
@@deannas2778 many small servings really do fill you up. Try a typical tapas restaurant for a similar but much less expensive effect (it’s small plate Spanish food). Also, depending on your outlook, experiences can be more rewarding than objects.
Literally hours of work to make those dishes. Before I learned to enjoy fine cuisine I didn’t understand how you could spend so much money on so little food. But once you try you understand. Once you cook this kind of dishes, you understand even more.
It’s a two Michellin star restaurant…you pay for the quality and creativity and the experience, because that means ALL of the food is going to be good. $268 is actually cheaper than I expected
@@thelightningflash i mean u gotta keep in mind that we didn't even see half of the course she said it was 14 different dishes and the bread and cakes aren't really that small tbh
Food and desserts look amazing. Top notch. That's a great price for the amount of courses and diversity of dishes. Caviar with the brioche, mushroom and egg looked divine.
If you ever travel to Norway, you should go to "Under" in Lindesnes! It's a One Michelin star resturant, and it is under water , so you see directly into the sea! It's also serves 18-20 Tasting Meals! Or Maaemo in Oslo! It's a Three Michelin star!
Yeah, when you realise the quality of the food you’re currently eating. Yeah you would. 🤣 If you were a billionaire not willing to spend it, I’d call you full of 💩
I said the same thing 😂 but when I really thought about it, if I was a billionaire, I’m definitely going here for the exclusive experience then I’m going somewhere else right after for the inclusive experience 😂 and I can do that because I’m a billionaire 😂
$268 per person??? For those tiny little items?? Reminds me of New York. I’m enjoying your videos and how you manage to eat everything without a second thought. ❤😊
Haiyaah... $268 is about the same as my living expenses for 2 or 3 weeks 🫣 Once I eat there, I have to make sure I eat as much as I can to be full until next month 😂 Anyways, I've loved your shorts! Thank you for sharing an experience that maybe many of us will not experience like you. Stay healthy!
For everyone talking about how small the portions are, its a like 13 course meal. so if they have you full servings of each dish, you would be full before you could eat all of it. The small portions are so you are still hungry to eat all the portions, and once you finish them all you're usually full.
I’m with you on the runny egg. I almost dont like eggs as straight food in any form unless it’s on a sandwich or a fried egg over easy so I can dip my toast/hasbrowns/everything in it
Count your blessings to have such wonderful parents I lost both of mine at a young age. It's wild how lifes could be so different, yet I want to help the world we live in, in such an amazing way and I plan to, and you just help yourself honestly. So many can't afford to eat what u do once. I'd rather help unfortunate, than brag about what you get to eat. Be a Food critic if u must.
This is the JAAN restaurant in Singapore. $268/person for 14 courses is approximately $19/course. At a two star restaurant that’s an incredible deal. This would be some of the best food you’ll ever eat in your life
I was content afterwards every small dish was delicious. The taste of the food and the pleasant experience is what makes it worth it. I just love food that tastes great! And pretty food is awesome too this experience gives you both. I do understand not everyone can spend the money or has it and I know what that feels like as well. But since I've been fell off I just do what brings me joy. And sometimes I so still have some anxiety about buying pricier things but I gotta let it go and move on
14 courses will fill you up! Jesus lord everyone is so dramatic. Those are decent sized bites, spread out over several hours with drinking and you will leave more than satisfied. How about you try eating a coursed menu sometime, then tell me how hungry you are afterwards.
