2:37 Wed Sept 20 2023, Good Afternoon Karissa. Hello from Gilbert Arizona USA. Wow, it looks like you hit the jackpot in Thailand and Malaysia 😮. As I've seen from other RU-vid foodie tour guides. They have been to so many places that show us all these awesome places that have fantastic food and people. Keep up your dream. Healthy Blessings. 12:31
I dont know if you will but can you try South African food some of our food is really good especially biltong and dry worse. But I absolutely love your videos and your absolutely gorgeous❤
the "sweet jam" u were talking about were actually ketchup lolll 😂 the ketchup got dried up so it has a jelly like texture and for the sweet, we actually have sweet ketchup here in Asia
Can you do a video on your chili oil you use? I bought chili crisp and there just wasnt much flavor or heat. Anybody know what chili oil to use that is flavorful and hot?
all chilli flakes arent spicy imo (im asian so my spicy tolerence is high, it might be diff for others). but if you want to make a flavourful + hot chilli oil, you need to add other things as well. -cinnamon stick, cloves, cardmom, anise seed, black carawy, fennel seeds, and of course for hot flavour, you can make your own chilli flakes by using a dried hot chilly, either buy them or do it yourself (dry them under sun + fry on a pan without oil until it a bit burny + blend it and there you go, you got a hot chilli flakes). first cook all those herbs with oil (you'll use this oil to mix with chilli flakes later), then filter the oil from the herbs, we just want the oil, the herb has ceased their function now, and re cook again the oil with half of chilli flakes this time, on low heat until that spicy smell comes which means its cooked. then pour the cooked chilli flakes oil onto bowl containing the remaining half chilli flakes + sesame seeds, stir them and there you go :) dont forget to add sugar, salt and blackpepper powder too, adjust them to your taste. there are many recipe but this one is for hotter flavour.
I'm Thai, I completely stop eating snack for 6 years, I guess I should get some after seeing 7-11 part. Seem like I missed a lot while I was away from snack.
Your use of chili oil is extremely extreme. Usually someone would put a small drop on a dumpling, but you dunked that entire dumpling into the chili 🌶️ oil! Much respect…..Tom
