It’s because it occupies a famous space with classic decor. Apparently he doesn’t realize you can just go in, have a look, and not order a shitty coffee
y’all relax. it’s his first day and he was just trying to get a quick drink for the day. it’s not his first time in paris, he’s been to and will visit plenty of amazing local shops.
When in Paris, it would be a pity to only try stereotypical French food. The French eat food from all over the world, and Paris especially is full of delicious, creative restaurants that get inspiration from many different cuisines. I guarantee you'll find things there you haven't seen in America, and that are not necessarily traditional French food.
Why make coffee in Paris such a big deal, as if espresso was firstly introduced there? The chances i’ll get dirt quality cappuccinos are pretty high, just like in CGD airport from Costa who serve it first grade degree burnt and sprinkle cinnamon & chocolate powder without even asking 🤡
You know, you don’t have to order a coffee when you go into Starbucks- just take a look and leave. Also, L’As du Fallafell is good, but there are many good ones in the neighborhood and the one around the corner is even better according to most locals.
Normal c'était le seul produit France lol entre sandwich du Liban la glace du Brésil la pizza italienne et une glace libanais chez Bachir mdr encore heureux il force sur le seul produit Français qu'il a mangé mdr
I would love to meet Elliott for the sheer joy he has about food! I adore my friend Paul’s husband Scott because when they come to dinner he always has seconds and takes a box of leftovers home with him- and I feel like such a great cook. I love love love people who can enjoy food properly. Plus who wouldn’t want this adorable cute and sexy man round at their dining table?
Those who are complaining about this guy not really eating French food, this is Paris! Not what you see in movies or footage from 50-100 years ago. France is very international with people and food!
When I go to France after I graduate college, I'm going to try the different French cuisines especially since I plan on renting a home there until I can find the perfect part of Aix-en-Provence to buy a vacation home 😊

Listen people let him be basic. At least that Starbucks was gorgeous, how many Starbucks have you gone to that looks like that? Also, L’as Du Fallafel might be touristy, but the food slaps. Also, hello, ROBOT PIZZA! There’s a space for kitschy touristy things when traveling. I wonder how many of you are actually well traveled? I bet everyone here would go to paris and go to the most basic brasserie and order the same 5 tired things. I don’t even like this guy much, but everyone needs to take a chill pill.
“France slacks with the Latin food” Why do you want to Americanize France? Just because your country of 0 culture consists of stole. foods, doesn’t mean everyone should copy your concept. I like the variety in America and don’t mind the bad quality! And I like FRENCH food in France!
In defense of the starbucks visit - when I backpacked across western europe, I hit a starbucks in every city because it's guaranteed free wifi and a place to charge electronics. It can be really helpful for travelers in between visiting local spots
