Please, you do it all justice. Your hair is beautiful and the beret looks wonderful on you. I especially liked the white beanie on. The pink vest is the best. I LOVE THE COLORS AND THE STYLE.

I have arrived. Toni Lipsey has subscribed to my channel 💃🏾💃🏾!! Ah yay! I'm glad you like my headbandddd, I can't wait to make more. And you are the inspiration behind my starting this channel. Seeing a Black woman winning in the fiber arts community, and you having your podcast and unapologetically being yourself, I was like, "Actually, I can." That phrase is something that I'm pretty sure I stole from your IG page and it has been my mantra ever since. You are amazing, simply amazing and I thank you.

Maybe with ur spa colored yarn shirt panel u could make a simple cardigan with that panel being for the back & then u would make two panels for the front. It would be very flowy with that beautiful stitch pattern.

Wow!! Your work is so inspirational and beautiful. I am so impressed with your design skills and I have been crocheting for 30 years. I can’t wait to see the yoke sweater when finished. Maybe you can make a video sharing how you designed the garments using your measurements and maybe that would kick off some of us (me) to figure out how to make it for ourselves?? Very beautiful. Can’t wait to see more.

You're have great presence on screen maybe tutorials are the way to go. Lots of tutorials have no written pattern just tell you to take your own measurements and work it out your self. For myself if I know hook size and yarn I can probably figure it out, but having measurements and pics makes it a lot easier. All the best I'm sure you'll do well

Suggestion, if your project is too big with the yarn you are working with go down a couple of needle sizes or up if too tight. Also make a note of the type/fiber the yarn is made with. Different fibers will change the outcome. And worse. They will stretch out. Ask me how I know. Uggh!! But all your projects are beautiful 😍

My first video with you and you are an adorable person. Just a joy to watch. You have a great sense of design! I love your vest/top thing! I had a thought on that panel you did up, could you seam the short ends together and wear it as a cowl? You could even twist it to make it more interesting maybe? Just a thought. I'd be hesitant to undo all that work also

Just found your channel and this is the first video I watch! :) Gorgeous makes! Regarding the issue you are talking about around 13:50. Instead of the foundation chain I would recommend you trying the foundation cord, if you haven't already tried it. In many ways the cord can be more accurate than the chain when it comes to length. One other perk is the really neat edge, since the cord is like "2 rows", almost like a square shape. Looking forward to watching your previous and upcoming videos!
@heritage.home.crochet
@heritage.home.crochet Год назад
You know, for that particular project, I did do a foundation chord, I think foundation hdc. That's pretty much how I start all of my projects if not in the round. But I find that the problem still happens depending on the stitch pattern used. But I'm learning. For taller stitches it will fan out, but for small stitches it will draw up. Thank you for your suggestion anyway, I appreciate all of the help.
@ickachu
@ickachu Год назад
@@heritage.home.crochet I'm fairly sure that you misunderstood me. A foundation cord is different from a foundation sc/hdc/dc. The link below is a video from Outstanding Crochet on how to crochet the foundation cord. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-D2qUB8t4uc8.html&ab_channel=OutstandingCrochet

@@ickachu Ohhh! :-O This is cool! I see what you mean. I LOVE this. I am definitely trying this for something soon. Thank you! Yes, I wonder what would be the result if i used a really stretchy stitch pattern with this cord.

Everything looks great! I really love your top and the white beanie. What if you turn that panel into a slightly oversized cozy cardigan?
@heritage.home.crochet
@heritage.home.crochet Год назад
Oooh that's an awesome idea about the cardigan! Like a lightweight shrug. I don't normally go for the oversized look, but it would save me a lot of ripping...hmm, you're giving me some ideas, thank you!!
@Karrotboo
@Karrotboo Год назад
@@heritage.home.crochet hmm I wonder if you could start decreasing the panel you have then make a shorter front. Almost like a crop top cardi? Longer in the back shorter in the front and the decreases would make the back ruffly. Just spit balling, I never really design my own stuff it would just be a shame to frog all that beautiful work.
@heritage.home.crochet
@heritage.home.crochet Год назад
@@Karrotboo Right?! And with the way your mind works you should definitely design your own things. The result is gratifying and worth the constant frogging and exasperation, at least for me.
