@@ISwearIamNormal128 Gem's artifact is called Gem of Greatness. Lore: this gem is truly great. 40 frost embers. found in Level 3 and (level 4 when opened up) I think someone has claimed it and got an artifake of it. Gem and Grian are off the list so far
Etho is low key the funniest hermit, seriously! His mock insecure intro was such perfectly timed comedy. I swear he has the most clever and charismatic jokes I’ve seen amongst the hermits.
@@whatwhatwhatttttt Lmao, I totally didn't get that reference - I thought it was just Etho continuing his decade-long tradition of sneaking "your mum" jokes into videos, hahaha
57:20 I can picture Tango in the dungeon mumbling to himself after every successful run " mumble mumble stupid warden mumble mumble useless vex mumble mumble dumb etho"
16:05 For context, Tango gave Gem a renamed key because she was having bed key luck. Since it was renamed (something like "Gem's Key") it wouldn't work in the item filters used to detect the keys. 28:22 For context, Gem was about to murder Doc because bad key luck is no laughing matter, so Doc combat logged.
I love how supportive everyone is of Gem! Asking her run level, making suggestions, and overall being just nice! There is no kinder place than Hermitcraft!
Gem and Cub have had the craziest spider moments in Decked Out! Both were heading through the spider lair on their way out, Gem jumped over the Spider, and Cub punched a spider out of the way to save himself!
1:59:53 "did I break line of sight? Did I break line of sight?" Looks around "Yeah" And with the best comedic timing ever, she gets charged by a different ravager! Best moment for me xD
It is amazing how compelling over 2hrs of Decked Out can be to watch. Having double and triple streams up on occasion and then coming back for the full length runs, it looks like DO is not only fun for the hermits to run, awesome to watch, and brilliant for the pre and mid game commentary, it also is providing heaps of potential content (and thus revenue) for the hermits. It's also funny that a few of the hermits who I normally don't follow, make insanely fun DO runs. All up, very enjoyable 🤜🤛
Hey Gem, something I've noticed from watching your runs is that you have your regular routes in finding a key (taking the right-hand side towards the crypt and staying predominantly around that area, hardly ever checking back more in the front of the dungeon) and maybe it would help to switch it up, take different routes and look at the other treasure places too! You absolutely have bad key luck, but maybe changing your routes will help! This might just be my wrong perception, but it could be worth a try😊 Good luck in phase 4! We're all cheering for you ❤
Honestly the waiting room chill can be some of the most enjoyable content of Decked Out, Hermits don't just get together and relax enough, it would be nice to see a little more of it
IIRC, the random piston noises you hear sometimes are the various clank spots randomly being enabled or disabled in the background. (Tango set it up so that you don't always trigger clank at the exact same spots, makes things more interesting).
Having two evasions instead of five sneak also means treasure cards get played quicker and you can always add them back if you go harder difficulty to give more time before stumble spam.
The problem is that the ravagers would still attack her, unless this is done in a place where there is only one ravager zoned there and that ravager is removed.
SInce last week I have been away for a very tiring business trip, I really appreciate you to make this movie style video of runs. It really easy for catching up and doesn't overwhelm me as where to start.
I think the optimal route for finding treasure up till getting to the throne room with possibilities to check the upper area last is: -> check the two treasure locations coming from entrance on the outside of the big ice room -> then left, past river of souls, there is one location -> go to TnT area, check both treasure locations there -> go left side past double berry bush for two more treasure locations -> down to the big table room, take two more berries and check treasure locations -> up, loop ravagers around, go to river of soul rooms orient left, check treasure next to the mean berry bush that always keeps loosng its berries to the stream -> go down the ice till the throne room, 3 more treasure spots along the way (one corridor, one on snow close to berry bush and one near the ice ravine) -> if hazard isn't blocking, if you were fast, you go in, hopefully havign a key by now -> else you loop around the upper floor checking all remaining treasure locations, two are in the throne room itself, and there are plenty more to check! -> then repeat back to the TnT room and loop the whole thing again! Good Luck on Level one for keys Gem :)
People keep suggesting limiting decks forgetting that a smaller deck on deeper runs means Stumble has a larger effect. You need a larger deck to dilute the effects of Stumble. You can get keys with 0 Treasure Hunter cards, but getting a key a little quicker doesn't make up for having many more Stumble cards played and maxing your clank out faster.
Lol Gem, seeing you bypass the raveger twice in the same run to get in to the secret room and calling the raveger useless was worth it. Everyone else is trying so hard to get in once, so you had to do it twice just to troll tango! Thanks for the video.
Gem starting her first hard run and getting like 20 embers out of phase two Meanwhile hypno getting out of deadly with 50 embers in phase two Luck really is different between the hermits
Gem!! the round where you got the golden eye, impulse's artifact, you got 33 embers for it instead of 34. you did find an extra one earlier so your total should've been 35. perhaps tango made a small mistake there or something? not that it's that big of a deal but still, every ember counts :) - Nevermind you handled it already!
I'm rooting for you Gem! I admit the key situation is bad luck, but in terms of embers I think you would benefit from exploring a bit more to find them.Try to go look for them when your ember cards play.Maybe ask Etho for advice,he is the treasure seeker king afterall. Etho has great strategies for knowing when to look and when to leave. I think you should ask him for advice. If you get a 23 ember artifact like Knights helm it might be worth it to look for those 4 extra embers. You do have the cards in your deck to find them, you just need to do the exploring and focusing on getting them. Then you can buy the 3 tomes. Good luck in phase 4!
Hey Gem! Great vids! Idea for a future season alter ego: Gem of Green Gables (GGG). Just a fun reference to your Canadian heritage and I've heard you live pretty close to Green Gables irl. Just an idea!
1:28:29 I'm impressed that no hermit happened to get the hazard pistons of that parcour path retract while they were passing there. I think Hypno even prefers to only use the plants so it doesn't happen to him.
Easy skill issue to fix: Stop eating while sneaking over shriekers! You're sneaking for a reason, but then your autopilot brain says "not sprinting, time to eat", and you end up triggering the shrieker anyway.
Love the video gem! Just a quick request for a slightly louder audio balance in the future. Its very hard to hear you, even at high volumes on my phone, at some points in the run. Love watching your runs!
Suggestion for Tango, it would be cool if there was a "task" to complete on level 1, like retrieve an item from one side of fhe dungeon and deliver it to the other side of the dungeon and there is a 100% chance of getting a key from that location. That way players can either rely on randomness or complete a simple task that takes some time and some risk to explore each level.
Gem, I believe Tango confirmed that there is only one easter egg left on level one! I've noticed a couple of potential hiding spots no other hermita have checked: - The 2-high 'snow' behind the berry bush, in the room down the slope from the icy ravine. - Underwater in the TNT room.
Pearl actually found the last easter egg on level 1... But I think that the water in the TNT room might actually go down deep enough that it connects to that one room on level 2 behind the iron bars next to the door to level 3. So *technically* it would be a level 2 egg, despite the fact that the entrance to it would be level 1. But.... Several people have dove down, and it's a "keep going even though you're almost out of air" dive, so without knowing where you're going, and without being *sure* it leads to an easter egg (this all just speculation)... You can die very easily. I know that several hermits have tried and failed.
