This is literally refined gold. It is years of experience and ideas I had not considered condensed into 10 minutes. I have tried some of this process yesterday and will try more tomorrow. I feel I am already seeing dividends. With the greatest thanks.

This is one of the best videos I’ve ever watched in a condensed form in 10mins!! The absolute knowledge and willingness to try any and everything to get your bow aiming is out of this world. You can only admire and try to emulate you, Paige. Thank you so much for this get video! Congrats on huge win at Metropolis this past weekend. 👊🏽

Just when I thought I'd found the bottom of the rabbit hole 🐇 🕳.... I find out I'm not even underground yet. Please do detail those steps... I know how much work it would be, but extremely helpful. Or record a video/videos, actually working through those steps one by one, so people can see exactly what the process is, and the WHY of doing the things you do. 🔥

She explained this way better then any pro of watched.and ya I know she is a pro.I’ve messed with my tiller for 45 years with my bows ,a lot of times I do it to adjust my nock height. And on my one cam bows I’ll either take a half to one turn out of the cam end ,or put a half to a full turn into the top limb or idler wheel to compensate for the power stroke of the bottom cam. And it fine tunes my nock night.

Like, I had NO idea that you all (pro's) played with your bows that much and used 'out of sync' techniques to shoot better, but then again I don't have anywhere near the knowledge base you do. I am overwhelmed by everything that you do to set up the bow, but it's something I am going to attempt. Please go ahead and make a series of videos with the next bow you set up, I'm sure they will be watched over many years by archery peeps around the world. I don't understand why you would run cams out of sync or vary the limb poundage between top and bottom. You are AWESOME Paige Pearce, sending archery love your way.

I hope you know you are appreciated. This is awesome content. The d-loop height change and running my bottom cam a twist 1&2 faster really settled me down. 300 29x Vegas with my bow first round after doing this. I was stuck at averaging 21-24x before. Hopefully this stays! Will try nose button next. Thank you Paige!

Hello Paige. I have been watching your videos you have posted. thank you so much for these instructional videos, they have helped alot in the basics off shoting as I am a brand new to archery, only have about 8 hours off shooting time at present (shooting time with New Hope Lifegroup 1 hour a day every other weak Bowtecks indoor range) using one of the in home bows, Revolt XL (dont own my own bow).. Im so hook on the sport, that I went into Bowteck today to order my first bow. Reckoning Gen 2 36 Disco Purple Left Handed, with Limbdriver Pro VX LH arrow rest, and Black Gold 3 pin pro LH site. I am so looking forward to reciving the bow so I can get in and shoot much much more frequently and tune the bow to me. I really appreciat you for all the videos, as they are so much help for beginer like me. Would also like to say congradulations on all the success you have had in your shooting carer and look forward to your continued success.

@davidbilliter5619

I'd just like to add to Paiges tuning tech . On TILLER TUNING , you must reset your nocking point to zero ( or pick a number as long as it is identical at all settings ) for each change to limb location . Not doing this step nullifies the benefits of tiller tuning .......the goal is to equalize the limb deflection OR find a deflection that works with your grip style , so the top limb isn't fighting the lower limb FOR THE WAY YOU HOLD THE BOW. I'm sure Paige just forgot to add that the nock must remain a constant , as in not moving with the limb changes. When you find that perfect point , it is amazing how steady the bow will hold .
@Johnbobon

What do you mean by "zero" in this context?
@alikalfaoglu8633

Will give a try on d-loop alignment, this can save me applying constant pressure by low-holding the grip, which is not that comfortable..

Paige, I really appreciate your videos. I torque tuned my son’s bow before his tournament this past weekend and my son shot his best in S3DA and won the regional tournament with a 150 20X. I watched this video and it leads to lots of questions. He shoots state this week and nationals two weeks after that. I didn’t know if you would shy away from setting up the bow in this way between state and nationals or if he should wait till after and before 3D. One more question, what do you mean “bob out the bottom”? And are there good videos on doing each one of the tunings and adjustments in this video? Thanks!

Ms. Pearce, how many arrows do you shoot with each step to determine what you like, when testing all of these steps. Also thank you for the great opportunity to learn from a professional.

I have been bow hunting over 20 years and this year started helping a new hunter get into archery. I didn’t realize what I didn’t know! So I have a question about this new archer. 44 y/o male, 5’9” about 270. Blue collar guy, really strong and stiff upper body. He is having a lot of difficulty getting the string to his nose. I can’t get him in line. His arms and chest are getting in the way of the string or something. I can’t get him to line the string up with his pin. I started him without a peep but I’m putting one in today to see if that helps. I wanted him to focus on anchor point before I set a peep and made him anchor somewhere uncomfortable. It might be his anchor point causing the issue. Suggestions?

@bbmas1930

Paige I have two questions. Firstly just to clarify terminology, when you say you 'run the bottom cam ahead' do you mean that at full draw the bottom cam hits the stop first ie. It Isn't as rotated as the top cam at full draw? Secondly does tiller tuning work on a binary cam bow where the cams are slaved to one another with neither of them attached to the limbs? From what the web has told me the riser angle would definitely change but the way tillering would normally change limb loads on a yoked bow is not something I could benefit from. Whats your take on that? I've always had mine equal so haven't had to think about this stuff. I suffer from low hold and low dip bangs so if having the bottom cam 'ahead' and tillering helps that, then i'll give it a try. thx

Holding weight how are you determining that by drawing your bow back and then having something that somehow measures the tension it is holding

So if I wanna move today cam timing I need to play with cable on bottom can ?
@PaigePearceinsight
@PaigePearceinsight 6 месяцев назад
No you can use both. If your bottom cam is hitting first and you wanted them even, you can put twists in the bottom or take twists out of the top. That does the same thing to the timing one just makes your DL shorter and one makes it longer. So if your top was hitting first it would be the opposite. So you have options when you’re testing that which is nice!

@@jasonnester9514 oh of course! I hope that made sense. Obviously both cables attach to Both cams but I don’t ever touch the end with the serpentine track. So where the cable attaches with that one easy peg is what I use. On the new Bowtechs with time lock you can use that too but I still always use the press because it’s so easy to test like 1/2 in the bottom, then 1, then 1 1/2. Then I can put it right back and try it with 1/2 out, 1 out, 1 1/2 twists out and it makes it easy to keep track of it and know I can always put it back exactly! Any time I can do something knowing I can put it back exactly I’ll usually lean toward that because it’s risk free testing :)

@ljsmooth69
@ljsmooth69 3 месяца назад
I don't know if these people realize this or not but I'm going to State the obvious because somebody asked you for the people that don't know what they're talking about haven't shot bow or anything all this is going to do is make them more confused because they don't know what the hell you talking about how about showing them that's how people learn you. It's like Hands-On training. But just imagine you don't know anything. You got the bow in your hand for the very first time. Are you trying to figure out how to do this stuff so you go online and this is the type of video you run into. For the people that don't know anything you're not helping them. The only people that know what you're talking about is the ones that already have the experience and have been doing it for a while. So this video was literally pointless. To be truthful. Trying to learn how to do the stuff from this video right here. You're not speaking to people that are going to sit here and watch your video that are trying to learn something . because they're going to look for video that actually gives them the information on what it is and how to do it and show it because the Hands-On training so they know what they're doing and what it looks like and not just somebody sitting there talking seen a bunch of stuff that only people that are experienced it balls will understand and know about quite frankly just thought I'd put it out there if their sentences that are the same I'm preciously illiterate and I got to fight with the stupid text to speak at all the time it stops on me I'll say a thing it'll say the sentences and then completely erase it say something different if it was a human I'd be in jail for the rest of my life right now cuz I'm going to beat that app to a open today don't everlasting sleep
