Thanks for being candid with us about your lip fillers and Botox. What you do for maintenance is your business. Some color their hair, others lash extensions. You do what you need to do to be your best self.
Whenever you talk about eating healthy, I think back to the very first video I saw of yours where you were cooking up a batch of dorito covered mozarella sticks in the air fryer. 🤣
@@allanaramaababes HOW did you make that shift?! You are thriving but I’m still in my crying over dorito covered mozzarella sticks wanting to be a fitness and wellness girlie stage xxx
Love the transparency. If you love your lips that’s all that matters. Shouldn’t matter what we have to say about it as commentators. I keep my mouth closed on stuff like that because it’s not my place.
Agreed. I think Allana made it clear she’s being transparent about what she’s been doing to maintain her appearance the way she wants it, not to get feedback on it. I also think it’s rude when people voice their opinions when it’s not their place and she literally said keep your thoughts to yourself.
You’re the only youtuber I’ve really continuously followed- and as a single girl trying to get my diet, lifestyle in order, this video made me so inspired to cultivate a life that is healthy, beautiful and full! Thank you Allana! My skin is so sensitive too so I def am going to start anew with diet.
I've done IPL and the difference is shocking, best money I ever spent. I moved to Spain at 28 and being quite pale I was determined to be tas anned as everyone. I did so much sun damage to my skin. It did hurt but I did whole face in one go. It took 2 weeks to fully heal. My only regret is waiting until 51 to do the treatment. Also, everyday suncreen gal now. Take care of your skin ladies, it's so important.
Unless I’m mistaken (someone pls tell me if I am wrong), I think it’s best to water your plants in the evening because the moisture can evaporate in the daytime heat 🧡
It totally depends on the climate! I live in a more humid, coastal area and water during the day so any surface water can dry. Otherwise water plus humidity would cause mildew and other diseases. It totally depends where you live!
I’m always very torn on this subject. One half of me completely agrees everyone should do what they like with their face, but I do also feel really sad to see young beautiful people who obviously don’t feel that they’re pretty enough, or look young enough, or want so much to look like someone else. It’s become very cookie cutter, and generic, one idea of what’s beautiful. Our individuality is what makes us beautiful and interesting. I personally never think anyone looks better after filler and Botox because , it’s always so obvious, particularly huge top lips, that always looks very strange, they end up not moving when you talk. Just be careful, be safe, and really ask yourself WHY you feel you need to do this if you’re thinking about it guys. This 55 year old thinks you all look beautiful just as you are xx
I’m subscribed to this woman on RU-vid who has such huge lip fillers, she literally can’t say certain words 😆 Her Ms and Bs when she talks, sounds sooo weird, I think she had one of those lip flip things done too, and it looks so bad. Whyyy do some women distort their faces like that? It’s sad
Thanks for touching on the subject of what you eat and how it affects your skin, I couldn't agree more. For my skincare, my diet is my 1st line of defense! My skin has cleared up so much this year after I made changes in my diet. In fact, my pimples come back when I stray from my diet which happens occasionally on vacation or if i am invited to a wedding, but hey thats life! Last week I went to a wedding and a concert, and I ate out a lot and got pimples on my forehead, after two days of going back to my healthy eating, the pimples were gone :)
I love your lips, they really suit youl. I'm 55 and I had an eyebrow lift twice and now I can't afford it but I feel SO great when I have it. No one else even notices but I do.
Love how transparent you are. It is crazy to me that people voice their opinion’s on here of what you should and shouldn’t do. I do work outside of the home, and no one would ever talk that way to another person (employee or customer).
the biggest difference in how you feel. is staying away from alcohol! huge difference for me. every once in a while I get a little glas something, but generally it makes a huge difference to how I feel and look!
I LOVE your lips so much. Your video with the Clinique black honey lip oil I was thinking exactly that. I think the shape is beautiful the size looks perfect on your face. Lucious, yes, but lovely. I always think of you as a “natural” gal. You don’t over do anything and have a really balanced approach to your routine. I think what people need to remember is they don’t walk in your influencer shoes, and it’s not easy. If you did nothing you’d also be criticized. There’s no making everyone happy, so just do what makes YOU happy! Personally I think if someone doesn’t like your vibe or whatever, then go find someone else you really vibe with and leave the others alone. It’s not influencers job to be anything than who they want to be. ❤️
I think since her eyes are larger and her brows are thick ( lucky girl😊), the lips look fine in my opinion. I do need Botox 4X per year for migraines and I have to say that it hurts!!!!
I usually don't comment or watch the vlogs, but after watching this one I just have to say I think you are such a beautiful honest soul and wish you all the best
You spoke about redness. I struggle with it too and I’d love to know from the doctor how I can target it and understand what causes it (e.g. rosacea or else?). Love your videos, thank you!
Love this! Is that editing between layers of creams/serums: Critical for us ladies to know to wait 1 minute between layers to allow each product to absorb and dry. For hands, rub excess retinol on back of hands, takes years of hands.
I don’t wait between layers…I just slop it all on and it seems to work fine either way. I’ve seen videos of people saying it doesn’t do anything when you wait between layers
Hello allana , little tip for watering your herbs , either early morning or later in the evening , but if they are in the sun at mid day don’t water them it will be counter productive as the water will heat up . 😊
I am thinking of botox for my forehead because I'm getting quite deep lines there and I just want to have a smooth forehead, but I am so scared of the side effects long term. It looks amazing on you, I wonder if you're worried at all about bad side effects in the future, of having these injections in your body? I really want to do it!
My basel was always dying until I read that basil schould get water from the roots up, don t poor water from the top. Put it in a drainage pot en put a closed pot around it. Put water in the closed pot and put the Basel back. And yesssss, they were right! My Basel thrives now!
Please don’t take this as hate, I love your channel! How to you reconcile injecting Botox when you seem very health conscious about what you put in your body? Just curious
fellow botox in forehead girlie here! my doctor says that the botox actually paralyzes the sweat glands which then can decrease acne. for me, this is so true! i am a sweaty girl and do many hobbies that require helmets / hats (mountaineering, climbing, biking, snowboarding, running) and i used to get so many pimples on my forehead after a fun day. now that i get botox, i don’t get a single pimple and my forehead feels less sweaty. it’s wild.
I have very sensitive/acne prone skin and I’ve heard really great things abt the Dr. Dennis Gross 2 min peels so I bought off of Amazon the regular one in the orange packaging they sell in a 5pk and the one for sensitive skin also in a 5pk both for $20 just so I could try them. It’s a 2 step system where you wipe your face with the pre moisten pad for 2 mins with step 1 then do the same with step 2. I’ve been using both every other night for the last week and my skin is so smooth and clear. The orange one was a little tingling for a sec but went away but so far they’re amazing. Love that you can buy a 5pk to see if you like it bc they’re pricey❤
Love the transparency, cosmetic treatments are so fun ! Are you still using Radiesse as filler ? moved to the UK and botox+filler is so overpriced here😭
I think if getting a few things done makes you feel better, you go girl!!!!!!!!!! Each to their own and no need to criticise each other. I would love some info/tips on how to get rid of congestion from the top of the cheeks and on the nose. Have tried lots of products, good results, but eventually comes back. gidday from oz xxoo
If something is making you feel fabulous, glowing, and as a result - happy and thriving, then you should definitely keep doing it! And it should stay out of debates, ok! Lan, girl, you are fab! ✨
You can't beat the post b*tox glow! I'm 45 and lost a lot of weight left me with very strong forehead lines. I love the results I still look natural but just 5 years younger, WIN!
Even though it’s none of our business I appreciate your transparency! I get Botox twice a year for medical reasons. When you said it’s painless I had to go back in the video and look at when you filmed the procedure. Yes, it’s painless because you have numbing cream on, I didn’t see that the first time😂. I don’t get numbing cream and it’s not a pleasant experience, and I get it all over my face and hairline. I think that you look amazing, your lips suits your face and you’re taking care of yourself inside and out! Keep on being the fabulous you! 💕
I don’t find Botox hurts all that much! I get it every three months in my forehead and hairline without numbing cream and I’m always excited for those days lol
Allana, people 💯 need to keep their opinions to themselves! Everyone has the right to do what makes them feel good and happy😊. You look beautiful always ❤
Allana Dear, Do you use the same brand of filler each time you get a touch up? What brand and amount does Doc Pavlou use for your lips? If you don't mind me asking. They look good and last sooo long between touch ups. Thanks
Botox is my favorite easy treatment as well, and you’re not crazy it can definitely help reduce sebum/oil gland production - that might be why you feel like your skin looks better when it’s most active!
This seems like a totally normal routine to me. People knock things they haven't tried. If they did, they'd realize that what you do is actually pretty low maintenance. Everyone has the things that matter to them / how they want to spend their money. Not to make a comparison, but getting acrylic nails done every 2 weeks for an entire year is more $$$ than getting Botox 2x a year + a BBL laser 1x a year. Whatever makes you feel beautiful is how you should spend your money.
I love your lips- lol not to sound weird! They really work for your face shape like you said and with the industry you’re in it works for your overall look. Ignore the haters xx
Allana, been watching you for years....don't even know how long.....8?9 years? Maybe longer? You've always looked great, you do you!!! Botox, lasers, whatever. We all have to do what makes us feel great.
I LOVE coriander. Mine died. My basil is doing very well, though. We’ve had a terribly cold, cloudy, rainy summer in England so our plants aren’t doing as well as they would in a warmer climate. We’ve been inundated with slugs too. Everyone I know is having difficulty. The trick with tomatoes is to water from the bottom, so maybe look at getting a little tray to place underneath. You water from the bottom and feed from the top with Tomatorite (or a Canadian alternative). 😊
That's my line .... you are what you eat!! So true. I love your honesty and the fact that you update us on treatments, etc. I've had lip filler and botox once, 2 yrs ago, and am so overdue! I did the corner eye lift, too, with a bit in my forehead and some filler in my lips. What I really want next is a lip flip. I have naturally full lips, but I could use some filler & lip flip to get the results I really want. Plus, the botox I got before. You look amazing, Lan. The before & after is amazing. You look refreshed, not tired, and just healthy in general. I'm here for it and would love to discuss these things more 😊. This is a friendly reminder to me to make my appointments! And I love your hair more naturally, the way you have it now. Beautiful ❤️. Thank you for sharing this!!! xoxoxo ✨️ 💕 🫶
I go to dr Pavlou based on your rec and I love my results for my lips - my family and friends don’t think it’s necessary but it makes me happy and I feel more confident so thanks for the recommendation ❤
Transparency in a world of trolls isn’t easy!! I commend you for your honesty and for being true to yourself!! My husband was so mad when I got lip filler because he thinks I’m perfect as I am…which is sweet but also, my body my choice!! And guess what, he fking loves my luscious, pillowy, juicy lips now!!
Love your lips 👄 the way they are now, so you go girl do whatever you want no one needs to be critical, and I also love Botox and I also get it done twice a year ❤
You look so gorgeous!! ❤❤ I have to say that I HATE HATE HATE that lines in the forehead are considered unattractive now ughhh (this coming from a woman with a very lined forehead lols) But either way you are obviously just stunning with and without treatments :) xoxo
I used to love having botox until on one fine day, it caused one of my eye lids to drop and I had to live with that for 3 months - not being sure if it would ever go back to normal again. I did a ton of research and was horrified at just how many awful experiences are out there. Many done by very experienced practitioners; but the botox can travel, even with a pro. There are absolutely horrific photos and experiences on Realself - some which have permanently affected people's looks and health. I would encourage you to see the other side before getting it. It's an extremely toxic agent being injected into your face. I know many people have it done and are just fine, but my own experience and then the research I did after scared the living crap out of me and I would rather have a few lines than a dropped face or irreversible health consequences.
IMO microneedling is not painful at all! They put numbing cream on your face first. It feels a little awkward or tingly in some places but no pain. I find getting filler to be way more painful
You are not perpetuating unrealistic beauty standards because you are honest about what you do to your face! You would be perpetuating unrealistic beauty standards if you were not disclosing the treatments you get done and pretending all of this is natural! Also - everyone should be free to do whatever they want to do to their face/body. That is a true society with no beauty expectations! Filler? Great! Hairy armpits? Great! You do you.
