When my daughter was a toddler, she wished for Cinderella's glass slippers for Christmas. After much searching, I ended up finding some at the mall for her and she was so happy that she got them. Her birthday is also August 13th and she was born on Friday as well. She turned 20 this year.

PLANT ADVICE: get some flower specific fertilizer. And follow the instructions on the container to a T. Then water when soil is starting to dry out just a bit. Plants tend to get fungus if they stay too wet, especially in a humid place like SoCal. That fertilizer will keep your flowers creatung new booms. Also when the blooms start to dry up take a pair of sheers or scissors and trim the old bloom off along with the green part the bloom grew out of. And trim off any dead leaves or branches. This is called dead heading and it allows for the plant to focus its nutrients on the alive areas instead if trying to give nutrients to the dead areas. Good luck!! You will do great. Amber, those flowers need consistent watering. Since they are outside, you can water every morning when it's over 80 degrees and every other day when it's less. Also, you can attract even more hummingbirds to your balcony if you get a hummingbird feeder! If you don't want to hang it from the roof, you can get one of those pretty wrought iron stands with a hook from which you can hang the feeder. That cowgirl outfit is STUNNING on you!
