The fact that this is LITERALLY what I am going through in life right now!!! I woke up last week and completely changed my mindset about everything! Deessing chic and classy because I am going to start dressing to feel like the millionaire I am meant to be and I am going to be. But to start, I need to change my persona entirely, my thoughts, my mindset, the people I talk to, the things I watch, the things I eat, and the clothing I wear! This was perfect !! You pin pointed every single thing I wrote in my mood board (which is the first time I even created one). 🥴 this is a sign!!

I actually love cleaning out my closet and buying clothes that I like wouldn't usually see my self wearing, because when I do wear it I feel new and better but when ever I do, I clean out my closet and donate a lot of the clothes I don't wear. And ive been meaning to deep clean my closet for a while

I totally resonate with this. I got very sick and had to learn to walk again. Now, because of the nerve damage in my feet - I cannot wear my stunning high heels anymore and this really threw me for a loop because I used to craft my outfits around the shoes which I wanted to wear that day. So, I have had to learn about flatter shoes and how to make an outfit more personal and interesting with accessories and such. It is still a struggle some days, but it is becoming a little simpler over time.

You inspire me so much,I've lost 100 lbs in the past year & getting rid of 9 racks of clothes,even though I'm opening a vintage store & nonprofit has been HARD. Thank you for inspiring me to move forward &commit to being the person I want to be❤🦋

I did a huge closet clean-out in 2020. I sold 250+ items on my eBay and Posh and took the funds to purchase a new Chanel lambskin mini. It's such a freeing feeling! I own about 30 tops now.

This is awesome. I literally just deep-cleaned a bathroom Friday and cleared EVERYTHING out, only replacing the items that will be right for that space. Removing the visual "noise" helps the energy flow so much better. This is essentialism at its best and I'm gonna get the whole house like this. I'd recommend getting your personal colors done if you want a wardrobe that flatters you! Having a color scheme makes a default capsule wardrobe, plus you only spend on clothes you know will look good!

Great job-you need less than 1/4 of what you originally had to be happy in the first place. The closet went from looking like a few tornados just hit it to an Architectural Digest feature and I’m here for it! So gorgeous! I just did almost the same - just need to finish some crazy projects at work then I can do the other half of my closet. I donated to a place that weighs the batch of clothes you donate, so from just half of my closet.. it was 8.5kg (18.7lbs) ! Felt so good already, must do the other half then help the rest of my fam to do theirs. The hardest part is actually starting and keeping at it! Locally we’ll say “add oil” aka gas it! (Keep pushing!) the end results are so worth it!

I literally just did the same thing a couple months ago. I had bunch of clothes that I put to one side to sell but was putting it off (I even took them with me when I moved out!) and also come from a single parent household so I know the value of money and I think that was stopping me from just getting rid of them. Anyway back to point, I did a massive declutter (a lot of the stuff didn’t fit me anymore so that was helpful haha) and sold it. Made over £800 and I don’t even miss them/remember them and it makes me happy to know someone will actually wear them! ❤ I completely know what you mean by dressing up to nines and now all you wear is sweats! It makes you feel sad that you lost a little part of you. I think for me bc I know work from home, I’ve become lazy to look good but I’m trying to make more important decisions when buying clothes; quality, colour and how often I can wear it etc. I’ve always loved your videos and you’ll get that spark back ❤

Don’t go backwards. It’s called growth. Sometimes you learn yourself by not being your old self. The problem starts when you miss your old self. You were already that person… the you now is growing and making you see yourself again so you don’t go back to it. It’s hard from here but easier when you’re not alone. I go to God and I’m still struggling but I can finally see… I need to grow up and grow out of my old ways. ❤
