Its a beautiful ship to say the least. The entertainment and food are big things for us. The drinks sounds fantastic. But we really want to check out that spell bound. That looks amazing.
Hi Don off all the cruises I have being on I have never complained about the food not everything has being to my taste but I always found something I liked I don’t believe that everything should be perfect it’s all down to the individual taste cheers Don
We did a 7 day Athens to Barcelona in September. We got a free upgrade to a mini balcony suite , which was gorgeous. We couldn’t do speciality dinner, even if we wanted to, as it was all booked ahead of time. The band in the atrium were awesome. My favourite thing was trying different cocktails before dinner. I recommend trying the frozen limoncello and chocolate orange martini 🍸
The changes Princess is making to the ship and your review is encouraging me to maybe consider trying it at some point in the future. I love the smaller Princess ships.
We are booked on the Star Princess for next November 2025 really looking forward to it, have done three Princess cruises and have had wonderful experiences.
Sailed on the recent transatlantic cruise on the Sun Princess and thought the ship was great. Loved most everything about the ship but I did think that both Princess Arena, Piazza, the dome, Princess Live, and O’Malley’s Pub were a little too small. (Sounds like O’Malley’s will be larger on the new Star Princess, so Princess is listening!). Food and the ship’s staff were excellent! The staterooms were very nice and I loved the glass doors on the showers. Talked to many long time Princess line cruises and they didn’t like the ship as much as my wife and I because the ships layout was so different than the older Princess ships but I think change and variety are a good thing! I’ll definitely cruise on the Sun Princess again and also can’t wait to cruise its new sister ship the Star Princess. All in all I’d definitely recommend this ship!
For the last few videos you have offered, you are in the same hotel room which I assume is in Koala Lampur (sp?). Is this because o& your inactivity while there? I thought your schedule# were packed!
Don I watch you all the time and truly enjoy your videos. But I’m currently 5:30 on the Sun Princess returning tomorrow to Fort Lauderdale. Aside from the look and cabins which are great (cruising in a reserve cabana mini suite). Everything else leaves a lot to be desired. The recent changes made by Princess have not been managed well at all. We had a computer issue that lasted for over 2 days and just moments ago an alarm that lasted for almost an hour. No announcements whatsoever. Passengers walking the halls asking each other what is wrong. Yes the service crew is great but the commend crew leaves a lot to be desired
must admit, it was a beautiful ship, very clean and modern but there were alot of things i did not like. bathroom was to small, you had to open the door to dry off from the shower, buffet offered alot of choices but the lines were ridiculous because you had to wait for the crew to serve you and the variety of food was the same every day, entertainment was poor, comedian was ok in the Princess Live but i had seen him many times before as well, venues were way to small for the amount of passengers on board, casino to small, no bar and hard to get a server to take your order, room service took 3 days to swap out my sodas for diet, one day cabin steward never even made up room, would not go on again but unfortunately i am booked 2x's more because i get free offers from the casino and alot of casino free play. enchanted, sky or regal would be my choice.
I think it is best to see a video on it before you go on that ship,the decor looks like a shopping mall,the colour scheme is dull,it doesn’t have a cruise feeling. Not a good out Leigh of the ship at all,princess had better improve her line.entertaiment and silly game shows not needed!
Howdy Don, My wife liked new cruise ships. Don't really like the Plexiglas on the shower. Not a fan of entertainment in the piazza. That's why you have a theater. Room service could be spotty. The best pizza on Princess is Margarita. Not a cocktail drinker. Am subscribed and hit the like button.
Same here waking up every 14th of each month to 210,000 dollars it's a blessing to l and my family... I can now retire knowing that I have a steady income❤️Big gratitude to Maria Frances Hanlon
