My very favorite is the stripey Simplicity 1616, followed by the pleated plaid skirts. But Milagro and GM's matching sweaters are sentimental favorites. That's a lot of sewing for the year.

#2 The brown dress was outstanding! It looked perfect for office or home. There still is the issue of how a garment looks in person vs how it looks on a TV screen. You didn't seem to like the brown dress completely. Anyway it was a whole lot of fun watching all the makes, even though I saw the original make videos. Thanks for all your work to make this podcast.

Tony 2022 was a great sewing year. Very talented love all three jackets, the black and white plaid skirt a real favorite. Can’t help but adore Grandma’s jacket because I know I deeply she appreciated and loved you for doing that for her. Be blessed, Craig

I'm so glad you made 2 versions of the knit dress that you showed at the beginning, as longer in purple and shorter in a print. They both look lovely on you. I have the pattern but didn't think it looked like much on the pattern cover, but seeing them on you, now I love how it looks and want to make it.Your makes are so lovely and cheerful looking, but instead of just saying the number or holding the pattern up at a distance, could you either hold the pattern cover and line drawings close up to the camera, or put up a picture of all of them so we can see what the designer had in mind too? I often watch on a phone and holding the pattern up farther away makes them too small to see well and I definitely have no idea what pattern you are referring to if you just say the number.

Glad that you are inspired to see the pattern. I was short of time making this video and didn’t have a chance to add cards with the pattern info when I held them up. But I put all of the pattern names and number in the description below the video.

Thanks for using Big Four because I get inspired and I can race off and get the pattern easily. I did this straight after seeing your S9222, it looked good but I can improve on it with a more flowy rayon knit. Now at am off to get S1616. Funny how one overlooks patterns and then you see it made up and it looks so good.

Hi! Landed here when searching for makes of M7022 (the skirts). It is clear you love prints and colors. You are way more prolific than I have been the past 3 years. Covid hit and my weight went up, wasn't in the mood to sew for this body. Working on it and getting my sewjo back little by little. A fast little skirt will be perfect to start. I went to leo9textiles. Why do they not list the fiber content of the fabrics. Wasn't impressed with their website.

Their website isn’t high tech but they are a small local business. Almost all of there fabric is cotton since they primarily cater to quilters. If you have a question about something just email and ask. They are very responsive and have great customer service.
