I apologise for the small sound issue in my introduction, but it’s all ok after that.
To make my neck tie; cut 4 inch wide strips of fabric x the desired length. Mine was 57 inches long. Sew the long sides right side together, turn through, and press, take your time pressing, there is no quick fix, then cut both ends at 45 degrees angle, making sure the will angle opposite way when wrapped around neck. fold in the ends, trimming the corner can help with this and sew closed and top stitch all the way around at the same time in coordinated thread.
