You asked what we would like to see more on the channel. I would personally like to see more flirty and fun dresses. More colour and print. Plus some really glamourous dresses too.

Thanks for the suggestions! Appreciate it! I probably won’t sew any fun and flirty dresses for myself- not really my style, but when I do pattern suggestions I’ll keep it in mind. I usually do more prints in summer so you’ll see some of that soon. Happy sewing!

Thanks so much Rebecca! I was so happy to wear the silk tank. I made it a few months ago and just pulled it out for Spring. I think I need more pretty silk tanks in my closet!

Another great vlog. I like your channel best of all because your style and fabrics are exactly what I like for myself, you explain so well, and you show what each piece looks like on. I now have capsules in green/aqua and pink/apricot and blue/pink. So much fun. I love making them.

Such beautiful makes from lovely fabrics! The tank drafting is genius. I do have a request since you asked… how do you care for all your silk makes? I know the gown will be different, but say your Ogden tank, do you machine wash it? Does it require much ironing / steaming? Thank you. And I look forward to seeing your travel wardrobe!

Thanks so much! I wash my silks in my machine on the delicate cycle and hang to dry. I usually press them too. When my dryer stops working (it’s really old) I’m planning on getting one with a steaming function. My mom has one and it has a 15 minute cycle which is fantastic.

You are lovely in your gown! I really like your scarf and jacket options. Is it difficult to move a zipper to the back? Thank you. All your make are so good.

Thanks so much Cate! It’s really easy to switch up the zipper placement. I just sew up the front seam line and remove the overlap for the fly facing in front and then sew the zipper into the seam allowance at CB. I usually interface that section and then just flip around the waistband with an overlap for a hook and eye or button closure.
