Also, important question, what is the weight of your full backpack? Were you able to fly with the 7kg rule? The backpack is SUPER comfortable! The hip straps make it very easy to carry, and the shoulder straps are padded. We were able to fly with the 7kg rule (we flew on Peach and Air Asia and had no issues), but our bags didn't weigh 7kg. My bag weighs around 10kg, but because they look small no one ever stopped us. We were definitely lucky!
