I haven’t really thought about what I’m gonna read yet, gonna let the wheel decide and go from there! I have a big enough tbr where there are too many options 😅 very looking forward to this weekend, it starts 11pm my time so it’s gonna start nice and cozy 😊

I’m so excited too!! So many books to choose from! I really enjoyed House of Bane and Blood - the magic system, the story, the true slow burn, it was a great time and leaves with an opening for more in this world ❤. Happy reading!

If you wind up not loving Broken Bonds, give the second book a try. The first one has a bully vibe but it will make sense when you read the book. I feel like the romance part gets better after the first book❤ just a little recommendation from experience as I don't typically like bully romances. Love the series though. The Holly Renee series is good too. Pretty spicy but good, quick reads!

Oooh I bought Kingdom of Blood & Salt recently. Maybe a buddy read?👀 I’m terrified for you to read Broken Bonds🙈 I also preordered the special edition bind up for Holly Renee… have I read it? Nope. 🛋️The Bonds that tie series is my absolute favorite of J Brees series but if your not a fan of Why Choose it might not be your fav. For the first book there is no spice merely setting up the story. I also have to warn you a kingdom of shadows and stars is not Whimsical it’s romantasy with smut.I loved the series, but it may not be to some peoples taste for a romantasy pick. Think a court of silver flames in novella form but still if you don’t mind smut it’s a great read 😆

@@MelLenoreReads I 100% stand by all the good things! Just know that it’s a case of book 1 being set-up (helps that it’s short) and has a travel quest that the others don’t. Also it’s 1st person and the rest I’d say are more adult & 3rd person multi-pov so the tone changes quite a bit
