For the bard prompt, Rebecca Ross's A River Enchanted duology has a bard main character. For Dark Academia, Ninth House series is set at Yale ( I see them on your bookshelf, but don't know if you've read them yet), or also the Legendborn series is set at UNC.

Bard: A River Enchanted by Rebecca Ross, the MMC is called a bard Multi-POV: if you find a better HM option for Dark Academia, then The Atlas Complex would fit here Trolls/Goblins/Orcs: The Malediction Trilogy by Danielle Jensen features trolls. The FMC is human, but the love interest is a troll, and I think he gets a good amount of POV as well, so it should work for HM

its so funny I subscribed like yesterday because of your 2023 r/fantasy bingo videos and you're posting again. I've got a card planned out for hard mode using books I already own / had on my radar apparent from the dreams prompt, that one is kicking my ass.

Here are some recs I have! Bard: A River Enchanted, or The Stray Spirit Dark Academia: Bunny is the only one I know of besides Ninth House for hard mode 😅 Orcs, Trolls, and Goblins: Orconomics or Paladin Unbound Small Town: Any Simone St. James! I'd recommend Broken Girls over her newest one. Book club: It looks like for one of the bookclubs, they already have the May (Godkiller) and June (A Study in Drowning) announced! So I'm hoping that info is correct because I'm planning on reading Godkiller in May.

Don't mind me hunting for recs in the comments hehehe. For queer romantasy, there is a queer POV romance in Lady of Darkness series from book 4 onwards, idk if that counts? Otherwise, A Strange and Stubborn Endurance by Foz Meadows or Breeze Spells and Bridegrooms by Sarah Wallace & SO Callahan. And for bard, I think The Stray Spirit by RK Ashwick should count! For the multiple POV book, I really really liked A Plague of Giants by Kevin Hearn. If I remember correctly it has 11 povs and Kevin Hearn went into the trilogy to tell a story without having a "Main Character." CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS FOR DAUGHTER OF THE BLOOD. It has some really heavy ones.

Kushiel's dart is queer, Main character is bi although I believe its never said on page. In the world its very queernorm as their saying is "love as thou wilt" Its also borderline bdsm I think as the main character experiences pleasure and pain at the same time. I kind of want this one for that prompt but then I also have A Taste of gold and Iron.

My wife loves the Kushiel series but hear they are SUPER smutty, which is why I haven't read Kushiel's Dart yet. I'm also not big on heavy smut book For the Lovecraft themed book, you 100% should check out Red Equinox by Douglas Wynne. I know him and he's super nice and the book is also great

A Strange and Stubborn Endurance for the LGBTQ+ romantasy prompt! Read this a couple months ago, still thinking about it - the main relationship is so complex and beautiful. Check trigger warnings though!

I am excited to try doing this and also nervous because being ultra competitive I want to do blackout and hero and hard mode haha A River Enchanted by Rebecca Ross has a bard MC so that will be what I read for that one, the orc one is hard for me also. I haven’t read Legends & Lattes so I always could do that, I’m just not big on cozy fantasy… Can’t wait to go hunting for books for all these!

I recommended the same to Cassidy lol but for lgbtq romantasy I recommend the night and its moon by piper cj! It's slow burn and doesn't really get spicy until book three and it's still not super super smutty.

I just want to point out that Translation State is a standalone set in the same universe as her first trilogy! I've heard people say you can read it without having read any of the books in the Imperial Radch series, and it actually might give you some background information you can take into the first three books to understand them better. (Personally since Translation State and the whole Imperial Radch series are both up for Hugos, I'm going to read all of them.)

I really want to get to The Warded Man and The Demon Awakens this year. Sooner rather than later.

A 6 book short story collection I know of is The End and Other Beginnings by Veronica Roth. It is a bit strange but I quite liked the stories she had in there.

I think Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothuss has a bard as the main character (Kvothe). Not sure if he is explicitly called a bard in the book though.
