I know, right? Considering so many normal dungeons can be soloed, 1.8 mil is crazy high.

I help people for free on normal is crazy that they charge for a normal dungeon 😂

One of my guildmates was considering to pay 10 million gold on Pc EU for an IA arc 4 carry. My jaw dropped when I heard those prices.

It's 3 people doing all the work for you, looting and trading all the gear to you. It takes 20 minutes out of their day to do that. If you are soloing dungeon you only get 1 set of items from each boss, with this carry you get 4 sets of items and can /sitchair the whole run.

There are a lot of 24/7 bots farming mats on PC-NA, so not surprising. The Jubilee event then exploration event hopefully sated the cries of mat inflation. One person or group has a half dozen associated accounts going in an area I frequent. Giving away hundreds or thousands of free epic games accounts didn't likely help cheating/bots.

This made me quit the game because I realized that zos could just break the economy anytime they wanted by flooding in free mats. One of the most fun parts of the game was grind out mats and then selling them to people who play pvp or trials...this is a healthy game...competitive people get dopamine from trials and pvp, and others can find meaning getting mats for people who don't have the time. Zos just printing mats pushes everything away from sellers and merchants.

I had a lot item getting returned from GS as those timed out and relisting will take time that is better spent by cutting down price and be able to sell item then only waiting for item to get unlisted and sent back with in game mail. With 3 Guild Store which potentially can have 30 item listed it means 30 x 3 = 90 items that now have to be managed every 13 days instead of 29 days which also make it less likely that players will even be able to search for items as either they will be gone before players can get there to buy item (if price is low enough) or they will have spend even more time for searching for items. Add into that you will have to scan every store to have some kind of idea where item can be found and that also will take time (add on can not scan too fast or account will get kicked out of game, so addon have built in delay for how fast they can work). Sites that you can use to search are also depending on voluntary players that upload their scan from GS which again gets really time consuming, so this isn't just that players drop prices because they get items returned from time out (13 day), but also how this system work with how in game mail system have shorter time before item will get deleted if not mail items have been taken out and moved to PC inventory (for decon, relist in GS or moved to Bank, GB or storage in House). All this add up very fast and forces player (not those players that are only into ESO for trading and getting Gold from speculating on items worth by buying "cheap" and reselling with profit).

I have barely been able to sell inks for 60k per lately on pc-na, if they are down that far I guess it is time to start setting up alts and stuff. It takes me longer to get ink than potent nirn.

Prices aren't in free fall because a few people like you want to drastically undercut the market value. They are in free fall because there is no demand. If there was people would happily flip the undercutters, like always. Everyone cheering for the prices falling off a cliff should stop and think what the sudden drop off in demand across the board on everything implies. It's not a good sign.

Ok this is one side of the cake, i get it. The other side is: pvp 1 char healer wants the silver skin from vas hm. She does not want to learn how, she wants the product and then back to cyro. Its 11 peeps that need to have time, knowledge and the will. She is in our guild. But of course we were grumpy and not all were friends enough with her to run for free, esp. tanks. And i get that, too.

We didnt want to go back so fast after working on IR for weeks, and it seemed disrespectful that our hard work on the success was not seen and her flexibility was so low. We put the pvp healer on a dps spot.

@@sahinku-8885 That's the beauty of it, you don't have to! if you look hard enough, someone else will! Don't use "ugh i dont really feel like it....but if you pay me though...." as an excuse. if you don't want to do something, you don't have to. someone else will. I have never charged anyone for any carry because I play games for fun not as a job or a chore. As long as I'm playing the game, I'm having fun. So why would I want to charge someone else for something I'm enjoying? And if I'm not enjoying it then I take a break from it. I don't charge people to keep me playing. That just seems weird to me. I get paid for a job I don't like already. Why would I (or anyone else for that matter) want to blur that line between entertainment and work?

good prices need to drop so does the mentality of in game greed.

The biggest issue I see with pugs is the lack of dps discipline, just slow or stop dps on the boss when the dogs appear kill the atros and move on to teleports clean. Probably not the pro way to do things, but it is a pug and I'd rather spend a bit longer on a fight than wipe 3 or 4 times. I've seen top tier dps parser groups prog that shit for an hour because they couldn't control dps (which technically isn't top tier but whatever).

Yes. Its a training question of a steady group, that learns to discipline, to take mech functions (like who interrupts in which corner etc)

What you just said tells me you don't pvp. Ever got hit by a mag sorc using rele before? They are now back with a vengeance. Some are even pairing it with the new lc silver proc trial set to double down on rele. How about a pilliger support healer to prop up your raids ulti dump for gvg? And yes end game pvper want that extra line of stats to min max every possible number against the other player. Stop talking nonsense.

Well,whole carry community is a big scam . I would rather go with organized group which will not hesitate to play with the content as far as i can work along with mechanics.Even for trifectas it could go either if some ppl were not much selfish or disrespectful.

In the newer trials, yeah you can do vet in group finder, but you can't get a guaranteed 20-30min clear and all 12 weapon drops. Not trying to sell you on it that's just the reason people do it

some portions of players are just too good at making gold but not at doing dungeons or making friends so carry run is their choice.

Well, to be fair, they are mostly (hopefully) using the profits to help their various guilds, which are also comprised of players. And let's be honest, almost all guilds that do Trials have requirements for participation, which include having certain gear sets and meeting prerequisite dps parses - so not even their own guilds are likely to "carry" players in higher tier content.

When I sell carries I use the gold to pay for the guild trader I provide for my no dues/no minimums trade guild. I do gear farm runs a lot, but the benefit of a carry is you get all the drops not just your own.

@@Centurion305 both games have carry services, a quick google search already shows both websites and discords/reddit threads. It's not exclusive to eso, people want to trade $$$ to not have to farm as much which is completely fair.

Yes, but there is a scarcity of crown sellers on PS NA. Maybe it's different on EU, IDK, but the situation still isn't great after they imposed that moratorium on crown selling.

How about we get elder scrolls 6 and zos works on revamping their aging, buggy broken game? The community can be shit but there are very many resources to get started with basic gear to farm even normal trials with and go from there for endgame when everything else is figured out. I get it's intimidating to go into a guild wanting 70-100k dps parse to go into a vdsr but there is nothing stopping you from reaching that if you drop the rp skills and follow the bis and rotations for your class.

@@fireraid9173 i want options. i dont want to group with other players. its not that im not capable. i play multiplayer games with chat and voice off. mmos are what i enjoy, not single player games. im probably not the only one who would like eso more if i didnt have to interact with anyone lmao except pvp... i like pvp

That sounds horrible so to get into the game every player needs to copy and paste builds I’ll just play a different mmo “RPG”
